Did anyone ever marry NOR with Roulette?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've been thinking about it for a while, did anyone ever try using NOR on a roulette table?

We have 3 EC bets on a roulette table, and maybe if 2 out of the 3 are very bias towards NOR, can't we just cross reference and bet the inside numbers that are leaning strongly towards any of the NOR systems? :)

For example if colors looks like a S40 run and High Low looks like a F.. we just pick the 9 inside numbers that "cross" .. this way if we just flat bet, with a higher hit rate we should still do good right?

Of course in roulette we only need to worry about the Zero(s).. but if the hit rate is high enough, we can write it off I guess, or protect it with a single unit chip...

Any thoughts :)?

That's funny you mentioned this. I've done it a few times on roulette just to see and it worked wonderfully actually. I just treated it like the baccarat table and bet on the outside colors for red and black as if they were Player and Banker. I know there is no reason for it to work since roulette is completely random while baccarat has a fixed number of cards... but the biases on roulette stayed biased for long enough to win and get out. But I assume I just got lucky, ha. Even though I won, I still wouldn't recommend playing it since it's a true game of chance... unless you are already up a bunch from dominating the baccarat tables with NOR :-)

Never tried the inside numbers... but thats an interesting strategy. I might just give it a shot!

No, don't try the inside numbers.

But you can play all 3 outside bets on 3 different cards and stick to which ever one is doing best.

Also, when ever you are making a high bet also place a very small bet on the 0 00 1.

BTW, you are best off to do this in AC where you get half your outside bet back when hitting the 0 00. OR play it on a single 0 wheel. Same difference.

According to people who have studied Roulette in depth, it is not all that random.

Coming from someone who has been playing for so long. Why do you think that is? The fact that biases do exist - even in games other than baccarat.

I remember when I didn't know any better and would bet against biases thinking they shouldn't happen. Now when I see people play backwards, I just get a big smirk on my face. I'm glad I found this forum - thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Hi guys,

I played Roulette for some yrs before baccarat. It was european roulette, where on even chances you pay a tax of 1.74%. In american roulette you pay more than 5%!

About biases: in bac you have 2 kind of bias, one is due to shuffling and the other one is caused by the law of figures and to the relative variance. In Roulette you have just the 2nd one. Biases exist in R. too but I can't suggest playing at 5% tax!

Well, I shouldn't be getting into this but we used to have a Gulf Coast married couple BJ members who were Roulette croupiers and they gave us all the inside dope. Their stories were unbelievable. Top croupiers were those who could hit the 0 00 one out of 7 or even better. And that was not their only talent. The croupiers look at the players as suckers to be taken. The dealer coffee rooms are full of stories.

So I did a 2 month study at Foxwood. There was a place you could stand at the entrance to the high stakes room and record 8 Roulette tote boards at once. 0 00 came up either 1 out of 7 or 1 out of 50. So I would go over to the 1 out of 50 tables and sure enough someone would be betting on the 0,00.

But that wasn't the only oddity. I bet a friend $150 that I could make black come up 6 times in a row at a certain table. He took the bet and I went over to the table and bet $25 on red 6 times before the spin. I won the bet!

All coincidence? Perhaps but I never played Roulette again.

I used to have a copy of the MGM dealer manual - about 500 pages. In there were directions on how to beat quadrant players - the most common Roulette inside strategy.

People all over the internet make fun of me for saying that casinos cheat. They say no casino would risk losing their license. These people are totally naive and don't have a fraction of my experience. They are what the dealers call suckers. They have no idea that the people controlling casino licensing are the same people who make the most from casino taxes. The more they cheat the higher their profits, the more taxes they pay.

I bought a dealer shirt and for three years I hung out most every night with the dealers at the Madison House in AC, where I lived. That is the biggest dealer hang out in AC. At least a hundred every night. You would not believe the stories I heard. Every night! Dealers have their own hierarchy and their own heros. The stuff they pull right under your nose is unbelievable. Hey, we caught the BJ dealer red handed dealing seconds during the Vegas seminar trip. I can tell you a hundred different ways they cheat. And BTW, casinos have known exactly how to beat card counters for 25 years. They only win in the movies.

But look at it this way. We WANT them to cheat both in BJ and in Bac. If the cards were random we couldn't win. - either game. I won at BJ every day playing full time for 3 years. Impossible? Not at all if you understand how they are cheating and play accordingly. Just like Bac.

And look at it one more way: In Bac, if you simply flipped a coin and flat bet accordingly, you would lose at the tiny rate of 1.25%. The closest odds in the casino. Yet Bac players find a way to lose at the incredible rate of 26% of the drop. You virtually have to know how to lose to continuously lose at that rate. Like I say, Bac players play backwards!

Guys, if you take a look, you will see that all of my books, including NBJ (New Blackjack), WCB (World Class Blackjack), Zero Proximity, and NOR all have one thing in common. They teach you how to take advantage of casino cheating. You can't beat random cards. They are random for crying out loud. Random means unpredictable. If they didn't cheat, we couldn't win! BUT, if they didn't cheat, they couldn't make enough money to survive. Think about it! Casinos could not survive on commission alone. They MUST make more than 1.25%. No business could survive on that. That is why they don't call it cheating. But it is!

Sure, they seem to be nice to you. To your face. But behind your back they are your worst enemy! 10,000 dealers can't be wrong!

After that post I should point out that Baccarat offers far less opportunity for casino cheating than BJ. IF you know the rules. If you don't and you have been playing for a while you probably have already been cheated.

I should also point out that I have never seen ANY cheating going on in Tunica at Gold Strike or Horseshoe. Which is refreshing. Some casinos just don't cheat. But for most, it is a way of life.

Which might explain why I don't play the internet. Hey, I don't even trust them when they are dealing right under my nose, let alone when there are computers and cameras involved.

I will say that while internet cheating was rampant for a while, we don't hear about it much anymore.

Which brings up the one way we can cheat in Baccarat. This is done best at full 8 or 10 player tables from First Base - the end seat on the players right hand end. It also works best with a tired or inexperienced dealer.

You bet on player and lose so the dealer immediately takes your chips. So you automatically put up a larger bet on Bank. The dealer goes through her commission payouts and works her way back to you, sees your large bet on Bank and pays you off!

So would I ever do that?

Who, me?
