Hi Norm,

Several questions:

What is the ADOT System?

Is it an improvement to NOR system?

If so, how can I obtain it?

Al

Hi, Al

You could find the rules for the ADOT system at the Sub forum "ADOT systems" at "ADOT System - Inspired by Ellis" thread at post # 1

The ADOT system is just another one of dozens of systems on this forum,

I would say that NOR is an improvement to all the systems on this forum,

I don't use NOR and I am not that up on it, but from what I see on all the post is that it works well.

I think NOR is more of a method rather then a system that tells you witch of the three basic systems you should be playing.

My advise to you and any new member to BTC is do not start looking at all or some of the old systems at this time

as they will just confuse and frustrate you to no end and waist a lot of time..

What you should concentrate on now is learning the three basic systems of play, they are System 40, F, and OT (OTB4L)

but keep in mind that you can't play a shoe with just any one of the three by its self, you must use NOR to tell witch system to use.

In time after you have played thousands of shoes you will gain the experience where you will learn how to read a shoe

and know what system to use and when to switch systems and you will not need NOR.

This took me over 4 years to learn and I am still learning.

One more piece of advice, the most important thing to learn is DISCIPLINE if you don't have DISCIPLINE

(knowing when to quit when winning or losing) it wont mater how good a player you are without DISCIPLINE you will lose !!!

This was the most difficult thing for me to acquire, and I still fall off the wagon now and then.

I wish I had a black chip for every time I heard a player say " just one more" or " I got a feeling" (including my self)

Now the only time I get a feeling at the Bac. table is when I have to fart.

I hope this helped.

Hi Norm,

Thanks for your response, I hope your doing well.

I finished digesting the NOR Manual method and now studying the Bootcamp Manual.

I like NOR, it tracks the spirit of the shoe creating confident decision making.

Now and then reading the threads intrigues me with questions.

I appreciate your help.

Interesting and educational posts Al! And also Norm's replies are right on the money.

Adot along with several other systems such as Net Betting and SAP are all precursers of NOR. They compile the foundation of NOR. But none of those systems alone react to casino presentation. They all look at a game as an accident. It took 30 years to see the game from the casino's side of the table - to understand the results of their game presentation, how and why the casinos favor certain shoe types and how and why they present a moving target. NOR is the casino's worst nightmare. It is on to their tactics - while the rest of the world does not yet recognize that casino's even have tactics. As a result, NOR has a higher hit rate than any system I or anyone else has ever composed.

NOR is like training wheels for a bicycle while the rest of the world does not yet realize there are bicycles.

Norm is right! With extreme experience one day you will realize that you no longer need NOR and you free yourself from its constraints while still deploying its principles. Then you begin playing every shoe for itself. Every shoe is a whole new adventure. But even then, you STILL keep learning. You STILL improve! There is really no end to it.

Ha, I like to compare it to golf. Sure, you think you are doing really good when you get down to a ten handicap. But the scratch players are still waiting for you.

The difference is in Baccarat there is no one else in our league. We are true pioneers. That's the fun of it. That is why I keep at it and always will until I no longer can. I want to leave something of myself for my students to carry on. That way, I sort of live forever.

Hi Ellis,

Thank you, your very detailed and examples increased my understanding. Feels like a spiritual adventure in Baccarat.

I should have named myself "Grasshopper" (Sifu, Bruce Lee's) student name. I appreciate your in depth help.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!...Al
