Will NOR still beat Baccarat?

Hey, OZ

Thought I would give you my perspective....

Somewhere I read where 80 consecutive hands dealt ( typical 8 deck shoe) would ultimately result in XXX millions of combinations ... Thus the saying, the same shoe has never been dealt twice...

The backbone of how/why/when/if / and how much NOR/ NOR+ can help a Player make the right moves does N.O. T. Depend on casino cheating, card shuffle wash ( or not), pre-shuffled, Or any other predetermined/ purely random card order...rather, it equips a knowledgeable player with a " toolkit" to help them decide:

1) when to enter a game ( beginning, middle, end, not at all)

2) the appropriate stop loss/stop win amounts as per the game at hand/ resources of the Player

3) whether a negative progression is called for, and to what degree a player should be aggressive or not

4) the choice of another game, another table is called for

In summary, NOR/ NOR+ in and of itself does no depend on " underhanded" tactics a casino may employ to increase its chances of winning...rather, it is up to the player to determine for his/hers self how best to deal with the circumstances at hand....

This is where good money management skills , coupled with a solid " bet placement - P/B - strategy" will result in the best possible outcome for the knowledgeable/ educated/ battle- tested player...

If the Casinos stop cheating , will NOR still work???

Of course, it is the ultimate " compass" ...

You have a very down to earth and encouraging way of explaining things...I very much appreciate your input.

Take care

WOW, that is a tough question and Kachatz may be exactly right.

I agree with him but from a slightly different perspective. For, I'm guessing 25 years now, the casino shuffle rule is every card must be shuffled at least twice.

It used to be 3 times. The rule changed right while I was playing BJ full time. The reason the casinos asked for the rule change was very obvious to me - it promoted BJ clumping big time and in those days BJ was 70% of the casino and produced most of the casinos profits. I think I played the new rule the very day it came out at Show Boat, A.C. I played NBJ First Base against the new rule the first day and absolutely killed the game playing their high stakes parlor. I think I ended up with something like 18 piles of ten Blacks. I remember that I was having trouble finding spa
