The Bead Plate.

The Big Road.

The Big Eye Boy

The Small Road

The Cockroach Pig

And what the heck do they have to do with deciding how to play the next hand?

I'm sure we have lots of players understand what I am talking about... Maybe a couple of them can tell us ....

Yes, I have read both posts before as referenced in BIgVic's links.

And I was hoping some of our Singapore, Malaysian, Macau private forum members might take a few minutes to explain to us all how they use this information ( if at all) to help them wager...

Anyone out there?

As always, wishing you all the best here on BTC

Read , my friends.

You will be amazed at what 90+% of the players in the world are thinking what the next Bet should be, Player or Banker, and why.

( and you figure this out, you will understand why Ellis should raise the price of admission to this forum...)

Ah I see you really weren't asking, you were just bating, trying to start yet another conversation with yourself. Which I see by your response to your own post, is already underway. Good.

B ViC-torious knows you want to win the battle, you come best prepared to deal with every element of the battle.

He knows that having pen-and-paper, even those two-faced pens don't work so well, and having a barrage of info in front of you ( the tote board) will mislead as often as lead you to winning.

Just like the Casino Gift shop.

You think they would sell you those BJ " basic strategy cards" for a $1.00 they would " make sure" you win? ( did you buy enough of them to give one to everyone at the table? Did they agree to play just like the little card says?)

Or the cocktail waitresses

You think those drinks are " free" ?

BV wants you to win.

So do I.

We'll have to see anyone " understands" how all those charts can bring out the true dragon in us all.

Next movie about ancient hand-to hand combat war/battles/fights you watch, pay close attention to what's going on in all combatants' heads, their surroundings, etc. There is a lot written about how to win a battle, and beating Bac is not so far afield ...

Now, we can all read about the Big this, and the Cockroach that, charts and how they are " derived" from the P/ B sequence of events....and how they " predict" what they will " look like" after the next hand is finished.

There has to be more to it than that, doesn't there?

B-Victorious knows. Perhaps he is a hunter, perhaps he enjoys fishing, perhaps he is a well trained athlete.

Perhaps none of the above. But his willingness to participate in the conversation tells me a lot about him, just like I wish FOR ALL OF YOU to know " instinctively" what is going on in the minds of those playing with you, including your Casino.

This is not Back-to-Basics 101 that way2fast and pompanomike have so eloquently commented on.

This is Advantage Play.

And you want to adapt to preshuffled cards, 3-shoes-within-a-shoe switches from OTBL to F2 to S40M1, et al....

Likely you will want to know this stuff as well.

It is not about " teaching" it to you...it is about you understand all the psychology of what is going on around you while you play...

If you have not seen it, IT IS Coming to a tote board near you...

If you do not at least have a basic understanding of it, you will more than likely be " psyched out" by the fact only you are keeping a scorecard at the table, while the rest of the players are " glued-to-the-(tote)board"

Who said Baccarat, the casinos highest profit producing table game, was about a simple 50/50 coin flip?

FWIW - most of the players I see use the Big Road exclusively trying to identify repeating patterns (2-3-2...etc) that can occur when read left to right.

Just for kicks, one night after I reached my win goal mid-shoe I decided to sit back and watch the tote board Prediction pane (usually located at the bottom right of the screen). If you're not familiar with it, it's the one that shows P and B with three indicators listed below each. This Prediction pane, in a nutshell, is supposed to tally up the results from the other panes histories and list them as either a red (pattern detected) or blue (no pattern detected).

I decided to "paper play" the side P or B that had at least 2 out of 3 indicators that were red. I was amazed to find that for this particular shoe it had about a 33% hit rate!

So, the next visit I repeated the process of "paper playing" after my session was over. To my dismay, the hit rate was a dismal 20%.

And as a final try, I looked at paper playing a shoe from start (well, 4th column on Big Road, so all 3 indicators would show up). To me, the next 10 hands or so were almost pure suicide following solely the prediction pane since there was so little history to calculate patterns on.

Gee, if the casinos were smart you'd think they would engineer the shuffle so that the last half of the shoe is nothing like the first half since the tote board is basically trying to detect patterns from past hands in the shoe to predict what should show....;o}

Glenn

Quiz has got it going.

He understands part, but not all of the charts.

Read the links Big Vic posted.

" test" them, see what they say about some of your previously played cards.

Gift of Gab? Maybe.

No, " likely"...

Willingness to help you win ?

Willingness to help you "see" what others are " seeing" ( right or wrong) ?

Like Elis has said, it's a CASINO WAR, and we all know we cannot win every battle, but we can prepare ourselves to outlast/ outthink/ outmaneuver anybody else at the table...

NO, its more than a simple Gift of Gab...its more along the lines of " who wants to Beat the " house" " , who wants to beat the casino?

Who wants in on THAT BET?
