What is the difference between a gambler and a BTC member?

A gambler is very anxious to bet every hand, doesn't know when to take a step back and patiently read the shoe in front of him. A gambler may utilize a progression strategy or a bet placement strategy in the short term but is easily frustrated to throw it out the window and tilt. Hate to see new members sign up and ask a few redundant questions and become frustrated when things don't work out on the tables. It takes time and effort to really get this down, experience matters.

Had an opportunity to sit at a table with CT70 for a few changes of bias, TBL to OTB4L and back to TBL and let me tell you his profundities of the game blew me away. Experience matters folks.... it may take years of playing, reading strategy and money management to get there but if you work at understanding the game have an arsenal of experience behind you it will pay out.

Consistency is the true Holy grail, if you win 3-4units consistently everyday I would take that over 1 big win anytime.

Well that was interesting, :D:D:DI was sitting there playing when a stranger walks up to my left and looks at my scorecard and says "S40?", "no, TB4L" I replied with a smile, hardly believing that a player in a casino said the words "S40", I guess the give away was the vertical scorecard we use LOL. Anyway, he introduced himself as Aznboik87. He sat down next to me and we resumed playing. The bias of the shoe changed from TB4L to OTB4L. So we both played OT for a bit. Then Aznboik87 left (on a positive note) after about 10 hands and I ended the shoe with 31 units.

It's a small world! Nice meeting you Aznboik87!

Is there any chance I can shadow you as well CT70? When are your normal times of play?

With all due respect, I prefer to play alone. Baccarat requires a lot of concentration.

Occasional chit chat away from the tables is ok.

You're right. I'll take it. When would you have chit chat time?
