Hi Zeckam ,

Is it always necessary to use 123 negative progressions to play these system or can we flat bet all the way?
I find that if you don't use negative progressions you seem to end up breaking even.
AS you get more experienced you may find that your bet selection will improve and your wins will outnumber your losses
If you set a suitable stop win you may pick up enough units to make flat betting NOR worthwhile.

Hi Zeckam,
You could consider using a 121 2 progression .
In this particular version, only bet the second 2 bet if you win the second 1 bet.
ie. if LLW bet the 2 bet . If you win the 2bet (LLWw) you are even for the 4 bets
if you lose the 2bet (LLWL) you are only down 4 units
If you bet 121 1 If you win the fourth bet ( 1 unit) you are down 1 unit for four bets
if you lose the fourth bet (1 unit) you are down 3 units for 4 bets
If you lose all 4 bets you are down 5 units.
This is slightly more aggrssive than flat betting , but less aggreswive that 123
The first 2 bet in the prog will often make you extra units. If you are continually losing that bet
flat bet for a while in that shoe to see if the second bets start winning.
LLL continue flat betting until you win and the look for another 121 2 opportunity
You could first bet 121 and watch the next bet to see if it would have won,
then proceed to the 2 bet the next time

Here's another picture of that same "Green.Button" on the left hand side of the shoe. (it is from the same.online.casino.as.b4).
Also re. a comment in the previous post that says: ".noticed they brought out new cards (8 new packs, shuffled at the table).", this_online.casino_uses_6.Decks..not..8.
Please ignore this post. I just read NTRL9's previous post which explains the function of
the button.

I think that if you don't put money on it , it doesn't count.
It's too easy to say I will bet nothing on this outcome, because you are risking nothing
and it isn't really gambling.

I cannot access the above article. As far as i know i paid for MDB+ amd had access before
Ellis left.
I also do not have access to the MDB forum anymore. It does not appear in my menu
when I am on the forum.
This seems to have happened around the time Ellis left , so I assumed that
Ellis took it with him, but judging from the recent thread where this article was referneced
I just don't have access to it.
Thanks for looking into this for me
Wendel.

Yes, the database already identifies who entered the shoes. We can play against our own shoes, other people's shoes, or a specific shoe if you know the shoe you want to play against.
Perfect !! Thanks.
-
Based on user input, the database I'm designing will become the next practice and training tool. It will allow users to play against existing entered shoes as well as casino entered shoes.
Will members be able to have their own shoes entered and identified so they can be called back for practice ?

I remember that some of the local blackjack players that normally played at higher limits would play a session or 2 at lower limits after a significant winning streak, apparently to get their w/l ratio(s) back into sync. I don't know for a fact how this worked out.
Maybe the "odds" don't care what colour chips you are playing.
In my case, I am already playing lower limits so I will go with the advice in this thread regarding w/l ratio's.
-
I track the wins, losses, the session variance and the total variance score.
I check the W/L patterns and the variance. When you are near the limits, bet carefully.
This works better when you play a mechanical system.
Thanks. this is more stuff that I may be able to adapt to my analysis and ultimately my play.

Hi Wendel for Win / loss tracking I do it like this:
(w)ww(L)LwLw(L)wwLL
Imaginary bets I put in brackets
I actually track all results like the above as I don't like the counts - I find them too hard to interpret at a glance and tracking this way I can see it all visually very quickly
You can adjust your progression if you use one from the wL ratio or pick and choose when you bet if you can see patterns.
If your getting wwwwwLwwwwwL - you would obviously go for it
If your getting wLwLwLwL - a 1,2 loop on the w or a flat bet after a L would make sense.
If your getting LLLLLwLLLLw - then stop betting OR bet the exact opposite of what you are doing and all your L's become w's ! (hopefully if the bias lasts)
I did this the other night on hit and run roulette - all my imaginary bets table to table were losses so I used the same bet selection method and then bet on the opposite result.
Hi Brad01,
Thank you for sharing this . I really appreciate it.
I do find myself more than occaisionally with LLLLLWLLLLW strings.
Betting against what appears to be the correct NOR bet seems hard to do , but I am going to give this a shot,
albeit carefully.
Usually my stop loss or my better judgement gets me out of these without too much damage,
but i find it embarrasing as hell.
In the past , I have taken a marker at -4 or so out of -8 and found a place to review my
scorecard (usually McDonald's) to try and determine where the wheels fell of. Usually ,
i am playing at the only baccarat table available to me.
Thanks again,
Wendel

I always track my W/L chart and play accordingly.
You'll be amazed on realizing how many units you can save/earn doing this!
Hi,
I haven't seen the w/l chart and its use discussed anywhere.
is it a matter of keeping a count of bets won and lost(+1 for wins, -1 for losses) in the current game and betting
more agressively when either wins out number losses or losses outnumber wins ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi drumman yes we all are human and its hard to play without emotion which we have to do to be pro. We'll get there.
I agree wolfat. This is a very powerful thing and it makes a lot of sense
moved question to more appropriate place.
-
Is that a problem?
Maybe. These shoes are good for practising mechanics , but may not necessarily represent what you find in a casino,
so it is good to know how and where the shoes you are practising against originated.
-
Are Wizard of Odds shoes created by a random number generator ?
-
Has anyone tried it? Does it work?
Hi,
I have played 1 shoe and it seems to work pretty well.
Are the shoes generated ? or are they actual shoes that have been compressed into a database ?
Thanks a bunch

I'm working on a spreadsheet that is nice and can load shoes from a database with 25,000. I'll post it up here to share and how to use it hopefully soon.
Hi TitleistGuy,
I can hardly wait to use your spreadsheet
Although I have an information systems background,
I just don't have the spreadsheet and associated programming skills to do something like that
I have just been transfering shoes to graph paper and filling in the circles as honestly as I can.

not really to tell you the truth. what is this, like imaginary bet for the 0?
Yes, i was thinking to replicate the effect of a 1-2 prog with less risk. (less potential profit too)
-
Yes a 1,2 loop is also something I would play but I think that's it. (As high as I would go)
As a method to be able to raise your unit size consistently flat bet or 1,2 would be the most I would play.
As partner systems with lower unit sizes I wouldn't mind to raise bets a little higher as it allows you to play every hand and makes things more exciting.
The money earner long term would be raising unit sizes as quickly as possible and flat bet / 1,2 loop at most would be the way to go I feel.
Hi wolfat I also did experiment with loss / win ratio to optimise bet size. - I did find it helps sometimes.
Hi Brad,
Have you considered a 0-1 or 1-0 prog & their respective loops ?
I was considering a 0-1-2 prog for MDB+, but I realized that Way2fast had effectively built
the 0 bet in his modifications to the original MDB+. I am not in a very good environment for MDB+
anyway , so I am not pursuing either option.
-
Yes I am sure it can be done but it will take some time
So you are saying this is the game in the database
"P123236321112222 - and thousands more.
Bet now based on the bet tell me how i did and then make the next bet - how did I do etc?
I am sure I can.
Is that what you mean?
K
Yes, primarily this feature would be a practise tool where we wouldn't be able to see the
outcomes before we bet. I am currently not 4D player so , this feature is primarily
what I am interested in. IF there were such a database members might be encouraged to store their shoes there for practise and to share with the forum membership.Resoource consumption on the BTC server might become an issue, so we might want to have private databases on our own pc's.
Even entering the shoe before playing would be a step forward but i don't have the pc programming
skills to make it happen
This might also be a great smartphone app(as a practise tool).
I would also like to have a private databse for portability.
BTW, I had a look at the 4d analyser app and I think it is really slick
Wendel
If you dressed this up a bit with a toteboard and some stats , It might be marketable (even without the 4D)
-
HEy Guys I got the 4d analyzer working again and going to try to add some stuff to it.
I am thinking we could have it track patterns and make bets what would you suggest I have it do?

I am a real skeptic that the oo/tt is a significant statistic to be Honest. What do you guys think?
What Should I have it do so far as betting a game program it to show how it would do with 40 Mode 1, 2 and 3 and all the other approaches.
Also I was going to make the page dynamic such that it only offers you the next hand to input after you place in hand 1 and so forth

Hi Keith,
can you make it read a BTC encoded shoe from a file or database into an array
Then interactively present the next outcome in response to a user bet on either bank or player (in units)

I got a shoe maybe someone give idea how to beat this one P 33141223311434161113512211
I think that if you played it with OTB4L Mode 3 from the beginning or more realistically after the 331 , you would get beyond +10
(NOR stop win) without taking any liberties, before you would be forced to quit or get creative..
But the next shoe might not play as well with OTB4L mode 3.

hi guys
i read the forum again and again - but i can´t find the answer
i try to find the correct system by using the sap count but it wont work good
so for example if I use s40 because the sap count shows this direction, it is changing and I lose more hands then I win
i cant find how to correctly change the system on a running game - so if I play s40 and the sap count shows a change to otb4l and I change, the game is also changing back and I lose again. I think the sap count is lagging a little bit
maybe me count is wrong?
I add 1 to each column after appearing for example 2iar i add 1 in the sap column "2"
hope somebody can help me(us)
thanks and greetings from vienna
chris & tom
Hi Tinman,
Are you using the sap multipliers ?
If you are adding 1 to the 2 column, it seems like you are not using the sap multipliers .
1's use multiplier = 1 add 1 to the 1's column
2s use multiplier = 2 add 2 to the 2's column
3s use multiplier = 4 add 4 to the 3's
4+s use multiplier =4 add 4 to the 4's column
Doing it this way may make your decisions based on SAP more accurate.

Johnnycs1,
Pretty straight forward.
Black was Banker. Red was Player. He had stated that there were 59 reds out of the 200 spins.
Strictly BaS40 (or S1 as we're calling it now) to start and it held up all the way through.
From the way the guy was describing it, I thought for sure I'd be moving to S4+ early on, but it never was needed.
MVS
Hi MVS?
How long does it take to play 200 spins of roulette in the casino ?
Thanks Wendel.

I think it is in the rules thread, but I'll try to explain as best as I can, and Ellis can correct if I make a mistake.
It is exactly the same rules for the ST runs with all three systems, you just add tracking ZZ runs when using the S23 system. You stay OTR with ZZ's just like with ST staying on as long as the longest last run, unless 7's are coming up frequent in the shoes you are seeing and then you may want to stay on all runs until a loss. Same rules as ST runs.
I hope this helps. This is how I follow the current MDB rules. ( I hope I got it right.)
This is the part I was not sure about, and the rest was the same as my understanding of it.
Nobody could have said it better.
Thank you.

how to play high 4s or 4+, followed by 2nd high 2s
in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack

Hi Zeckam,
I think that OTB4L Mode1 might work great in this case. It capitalizes on low 3's.
In this case you go on the run after the first loss, bet 2 otr.
If you have 4+'s you can stay OTR until it ends.
It looks like you have a good grasp of SAP, so you can let SAP decide what to do after
4.
OTB4l Mode 1 is covered in the NOR+ "manual " which is buried somewhere in the forums
but it doesn't contain much more on this topic than I have just written, other than recommending staying OTR to the
end of the run.
You can probably find the "manual" by searching for NOR+.
Let us know how this works.
