  1. Vin,

I'm not sure why you wouldn't have received a response to your PM, but I see you listed in the Professional Players group, which is the equivalent of the MDB members access in the old forum.  There are some new things that come with a Premium Subscription including additional new forums and access to the StatsForProfits system, but you should not have lost access to anything had before. We did merge the NOR Baccarat forum with the Everything Baccarat and rename it to the Members Only forum.  Maybe that's what you aren't seeing?

  2. @trillion  BeatTheCasino.com is going through big changes from the hoopla that use to be here with new systems being designed, the next holy grail, etc.  A lot of the changes right now are happening behind the scenes.   It isn't going to happen overnight, but it is happening.  The new forum software was one piece. The StatsForProfits system is where the bulk of my efforts are going.  We are preparing the launch of that to everyone, but you were given access after the Vegas seminar while we continued development.  Have you had a chance to look at the system yet?  The StatsForProfits system will change the way we help people play in two three ways.

#1 We will have a common place to share information about shoes that are played in real casinos that is easy to search.

#2 We will be able to play other people's shoes to show them how we would have done things.

#3 The software will report how certain systems work and don't work as well as be able to show you if you are playing according to the system.

  3. @wuqin  I'm not familiar with the post you mentioned that Keith deleted, but generally we don't delete posts unless other members find them offensive.  Not all methods work for all people.  You are welcome to post your way of playing in the public forum, or pay for a subscription here where you will have access to where most of the posts are made.  There are a lot of changes going on here, and the goal is to promote sharing and contribute to the community so we can all benefit.

  4. We decided to add 221 to the software, assuming it would be easy.  That ended up being a major issue and has put us behind on getting the password integration working as well as fixing some very minor issues that I want fixed before doing a "Public Release."  I use the system daily and a several other members have added data, but I'd rather release something late than buggy.

And now to play the Devils Advoicate . Let's say this STAT Forum gets up and running . Then how do we keep the casino moles locked out so they don't skew all the data up . Because as time goes on , Every casino will have a mole to skew the data for their own casino . Humm , something to think about .

This part is easy.  All data entered is associated to the user who entered it and logged with a timestamp.  The data can be displayed based upon what casino it is from, what type of card prep was used, and who entered it.  If garbage data gets entered, it can be either filtered out or deleted entirely.

So here was my pitch to Keith.

He is far more the IT type than me, but I think I am pretty tuned in to what our members really need/want to make informed decisions, playing regularly

But I caution...it would cost money, some kind of recurring monthly fee...

Players want INFORMATION, up-to-date and accurate.

Players have access to shoes they have played all over the world, and could easily " feed " this info into the forum...or a separate , "custom designed "program" that would add their current data into an established database .

We start with a handful of shoes.

    Daily, more are added.

" sort parameters are built in" , like location, date, etc.

Private members could then submit real-time " questions" into the database to test/evaluate their casino conditions, their casino results against a much larger " universe" of current data, " sortable" from an ever-growing data base of shoes played/encountered/observed.

No longer do we assume Vegas shoes no longer are NOR incompatible, just because we are told they are not

( PS...many of them still are)

No longer do we wonder whether waiting for 2IAR, 3IAR or some other number of events to establish a " trigger" point for a system like MDB makes sense, or not....we have real data

No longer do we have to decide if the O/R count is more relevant in Vegas, or Singapore...or should we be looking harder at OTBL in a given location?

OK! I know it sounds like " baccarat sci-fi", but as the database grows, each successive entry makes it stronger/ more reliable...

Would you be willing to pay a monthly fee to have direct, private access to this info??? And how much?

Me, I'd readily pay $50, or even $100 a month for access to this kind of system...just a few $25 bets a month!!!

    Or am I dreaming?

( or more likely, who will get there first? )

This is well within current techno -boundaries...

This forum would overnight become the dominant force in Baccarat

    But,

    Would it be worth it?

Just some ruminations on this Thursday evening...

Hoping some of you are luminaries, rocket-scientists or even just average-baccarat-Joes/Janes and would a few minutes and respond with your thoughts on the subject...

    Think Pie-in-the-sky... WHAT IF....

Where do we collectively want to be ...3 months, 6 months, a year from now???

Me? I want to put a million $$ in the rear-view mirror...

And I want that for you.

Stats for Profits system currently has

252,000 computer generated shoes from Wizard of Odds

286 live shoes submitted by members

Includes play at 11 different casinos from 9 players in 2 countries.

18 Shoes entered today alone, from 4 different casinos, submitted by 3 players.

We will be adding the Zumma shoes in addition to 2300 shoes that someone emailed me that were reportedly recorded live.

All data is easily searchable and you can do most of the things Kevin mentioned here already.

The system isn't perfect, but our testers are helping us get the bugs out and we're getting regular improvements.

    Mike-

CONGRATULATIONS ! to you and Keith for getting this done!

I have several hundred shoes last 90 days I can easily report BP format like B12321232233 etc., but do not have the time to load them myself...

    Can you help?

Thinking many members want a " shortcut" to same...

Again, thanks for you guys getting it together...

( or is it " youse guys") ?

Seen a few of those movies...

    Kevin

@kachatz1 If you can get the data into some type of electronic format, with at least the date it was played, what casino it was at and how the cards were prepped (preshuffled, vs regular) than I'm sure we can help. If you also have the times each shoe was played, that would be a nice bonus.  If you have it already electronically, email me what you have.  If you are going to type it all out, get me like 5 shoes so we can work out the file format first.

  8. We put the new software online about 20 minutes ago.  I'm sure there will be some tweaks and work needing done.  Once we get through that we will fire up the Stats For Profits integration.  In the mean time, anyone who has attended a seminar in the last year is acting as a beta tester.  If you have attended a seminar and don't have access, PM me and I'll make sure it is setup.

  9. We would certainly be interested in having shoes from out of the country. I know there are other players there as well.

    Hi Keith,

Thanks for the heads up video, this looks very useful

    My question

I have a lot of shoes from Sands Singapore, Galaxy Macau, Sands Macau

and SkyCity New Zealand on file

I would like to enter these into the system when the time comes

Is that possible even though there would not be too many players interested

(I was the first player to play MDB+ in Macau with outstanding success)

    thanks

    Pando (new Zealand)

  10. The ability to play real time is a feature we will have early next year.

Hi Keith! I've seen the video, congratulations! Good tool for a database of shoes to investigate.

But I want to ask something, because I think I saw something you said in the past (don't know if it's correct or it was just my impression). Did the programmers made a tool to play 'in real time'? (to be used maybe mainly for online casinos or if you have it on your phone in a land casino - provided they let you use it). Something like "you insert the first 10-15 hands and the program calculates automatically based on SAP or 3D which is the best approach to use - S40 or OTBL with their modes or others, or when is the opportunity for an MDB bet; and if SAP or 3D changes, the program tells you automatically that you have to change from S40 to OTBL or Repeats or whatever; or, better, you just insert all data (10-15 hands and then every hand) and the program calculates automatically based on the best parameters and systems inserted in it and it gives the final result according to them (what to bet next, P or B - meaning which of these 2 has the more 'çhances' to appear based on the bias noticed so far in the shoe)." (all of these are my interpretation - how I would see such a tool ) And we have to pay a monthly fee to use it or something? Did I understand correctly or it was just my assumption? Thank you!

  11. Yes online casinos can be entered, and would be nice to see. The more data we have in, the more comparisons we can make. We can see how different systems work against different casinos.

    Awesome! Quick Question Keith.

Can we also include online casinos?

I have been playing at a bitcoin casino that has 8 deck shoes hand shuffled. Can I enter the data from this casino?

    VegasCasino.io

    thanks!

  12. XDotNet. Thanks for the offer. The database is already online and we are working bugs out of a simulator for MDB at the moment. In addition to 252000 computer generated shoes, there are over 100 live shoes and it is growing daily. The app is written in PHP. Everyone who has attended the last two seminars has been given access and there will be some announcements coming next month giving access to more members.
