  1. Speaking of Arrrrrrrgh-check out the beginning back to back runs in the current $5 shoe at BPH.
  2. I got +10 from hand 9-20 playing straight Anti. (Although in for some losses if I don't get on that run of 8! And that was no M2
  3. BPH just did a full-fledged strip before the usual shuffle. Two dealers split the shoe, then each split their half into 2 piles alternating 1-3 cards on each pile. Don't know what the shoe before was like. It will be interesting to see what the next shoe looks like. (Yeah, I know, I've been spending a lot of time at BPH since I deposited money about a week ago.) Out of the box but wrong-- how far out is that? About as expected--SAP count 16 24 8 16
  4. Speaking of shuffles, Ellis, it seems to me that the cards in a baccarat shoe clump just as they do in BJ. So if the last card or two in the last hand are 10s, then it's more likely Player will have a first 10. Do we know the likelihood of a side losing with a first card 10? I guess I'm thinking about a reverse first base play. And why is a first card Ace so often followed by a 10? So many blackjacks in Bac!
  5. It seems to me that ties are above normal at BPH. So I counted last shoe--12 ties. It might be worth keeping track of them. Pretty good odds. Btw, was 78 hands in the shoe (unless when I came in the tote was showing hands from the previous shoe. They sometimes do that.) 78 units bet on ties, 96 units won.
  6. Last BPH shoe P131221172 P216233111 P42311333 Wish I'd played it. I got +33 playing RH straight thru from hand 9. A few 4 bets. U1D2M2 So much for totally choppy shoes.
  7. Here's the very latest I just got as the joker came out P32211223211 P4712231 B142132431 B11211211111
  8. I've got a bunch of recorded BPH shoes which I'm gonna try Matrix on. I can post some shoes if anybody else wants to run them. Just checked in at BPH--$5 shoe is 1s, 2s and 3s then a 5 and 7 run bqck to back, and back to the 1s, 2s and 3s. This to me is a normal BPH shoe. And Ellis, thanks for the tip on Matrix, There have been so many systems since then that I had forgot about it. And you can register at BPH pretty easily with no money and play for fun. Best I can remember, you don't see the felt during the wash and I remember 2 girls picking up 5 or 6 cards from the edge of the pile and flicking them individually over the top of the pile. After each shoe, they do some stripping but their shuffles are pretty bad with the big cards.
  9. Thanks Dazza. I guess I'm changing strategies too much. An 11 ZZ in the next shoe. Where was it when I needed it!
  10. Anyone have a solution to shoes like this At BPH. I've been getting beaten up on them the last 2 days P1412211122111 B421441112 P112
  11. The shoe I wrote about was early this morning. If you're talking about a shoe last night, that's 2 x 20 runs.
  12. Straight run of 18 and counting, after half a shoe of chop! Ended at 20 (with no server glitches) And I was just watching. Followed by a 9 ZZ.
  13. As an ex card counter I can tell you that everything Ellis says about it is absolutely right on. I wish I had this info when I was playing back in the early 80's. For example, I would wonder why I was winning virtually every hand with a mininum bet out as the count got more and more negative. I even took " negative walks" ala Stanford Wong during negative counts. Little did I realize high cards were coming out and that's why I wasn't getting stiffs but getting blackjacks and winning my double downs. Zero prox is based on a brilliant observation which is contrary to conventional wisdom. If you dare to be unconventional and think for yourself you'll get it. And if you don't, well somebody's got to hold down the conventional wisdom fort. I say $243.37. Conventional wisdom says $249.95.
  14. I've had mostly regular length shoes at BPH. And fyi, lately they seem to be mostly choppy punctuated by long runs. Net betting O vs. T works pretty well as long as you get on the runs. Or are Ellis and I the only ones still net betting?
  15. Copy of an email that didn't go through Attn: Jack This is my first day playing for real money with Bet Phoenix. There were 2 baccarat hands with problems. 1. Game 043MIL: I bet $5 on Banker. The video showed 9-7 for Player and A-7 for Banker. A message came on the screen saying there was a "dealer error" and the hand was canceled and my bet refunded. I saw no error other than the display showed different cards. I feel I should have won based on the cards actually dealt. 2. Game 046MIL: I bet $5 on Banker which lost. A message came on the screen saying due to some problem my bet was not accepted and would be refunded. But it was not. I do see that the games were down shortly thereafter but I wonder if I can really trust playing with Bet Phoenix. The amount in dispute is only $10 but it's the principle. I'm afraid to make bigger bets in the future. I understand you can view the video to judge for yourself. I would appreciate it. Gerald Becker
  16. The $5 game is at the $50 table and the $500 game is at the $10 table. Go figure. 2s were a 26 SAP count at the $5 table this afternoon. Go OTB4l!
  17. Yeah, I meant 121s. Btw, what's the easiest way to deposit money with BPH?
  18. Seems like lots of 1221s after it went back online----or am I just being paranoid?
