$10 million Total Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship Tournaments!

Recommended Posts

Wow! This is the first time I've seen this Prizepool for a U.S. Baccarat Tournament.

Brendan Mendoza posted this Link to Palazzo Casino's (part of Sands casino complex including the Venetian):

In the link, it explains the structure for the 2 different series of Baccarat Tournaments:

Join us for the third annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship, where you will have the opportunity to win your share of $10 Million USD in cash!

The Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will take place from September 26 to September 29 and October 3 to October 6 and features a $30,000 daily cash prize pool. Unlimited re-buys are available for $50. Eighty daily prizes will be awarded each preliminary day. The top three daily finishers will automatically advance to the Semi-Final Round of the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament. For details, please go to the Golden Dragon Tab.

In the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament the stakes are even higher, with a $50,000 daily cash prize pool October 9 through October 11. Unlimited re-buys are available for $250. Eighty daily prizes will be awarded each preliminary day. The top four finishers each day will advance to the Semi-Final Round on October 12. Come take part in this amazing event. For details, please go to the Ruby Dragon Tab.

Also, If you become a "Gracie Loyalty Card Member":

Details: Grazie Members receive one Complimentary Tournament Entry per Day. Unlimited re-buys are available at $50 each during Preliminaries. The top 3 daily total finishers in the Golden Tournament advance into the Ruby Tournament Semi-Final Round on Sunday, October 12, 2014.

The top 4 daily total finishers in the Ruby Tournament Preliminaries advance into the Ruby Tournament Semi-Final Round on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Top 6 finishers in the Ruby Tournament will receive complimentary entry into the $1 Million Royal Tournament in November 2014.

Now, I dunno if MDB or NOR will work in a Tournament structure, but surely we can sponsor some BTC members to try to win

the Daily $30,000 & $50,000 Prizepools. Plus, on the Baccarat Crawls you can become "Gracie" members to get Daily Free entries.

Now, i'm more familiar w/ the strategy for winning rebuy Poker Tournaments, I'm thinking we should have an Edge in Baccarat Tourneys.

Didn't 2 members of BTC win in a Forum Tourney Showdown awhile back?

Whatcha think?

Pedro

I'm scheduled to be in Vegas from the 26th to the 29th of September anyway, so I'll have to give this a shot. Anyone have some ideas on tournament style play?

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.  Figure out a way to win at baccarat that fits your lifestyle, you don't have to eat fish anymore!

Haven't played a tournament, but have watched a few. I don't think the way we play will do well -- its not so much about number of winning bets, as it is about how much you bet compared to others and your choice (P,B and tie) compared to others. Very different strategy.

Good luck Mike!

I am seriously considering going. Can you go a little more in-depth, way2fast?
