Anyone interested in playing AC weeknight

Recommended Posts

Anybody on BTC interested in playing AC during the week? Of course its nice to be from the area.

I have gone many days and I am the only player at Trop. Trying to learn the NOR correctly.

They have both no commission and commission tbls.

I go to most casinos so if there is a preference. I played with a friend at Ballys last night and was down a little. Hoping some more real players were out an about. I had one of Ellis' TB4L runs written down to follow general flow and it worked well up front but cards turned about quarter way in.

ok...

Saturdays are not easy for Bac. Hard to get tables. Most are reserved for very high rollers.

I try NOR a number of times but was getting killed. Still need to understand OTR for the various approaches. I did OTB4L to start and was on a small run but got killed mid-shoe by straight runs that switched back and forth and exactly the wrong time.

But it would be nice to work on NOR...

when you were in AC, did you check out any of the HL rooms? Table minimums? Which casinos have alot of bac tables in HL room?

Yes all HL tables were $100 min. I was a very mean when I approached with my few green/black chips.

my 15 no comm tbl was rough.

I will have to go through each casino to get the details of each area but there all basically the same. Borgata has the most. Probably followed by Ballys. Borgata has $20 min tbls since they have 20 unit chips.

Weekends expect most HL tbles to be reserved.

Thanks for the info. If you happen to be there and could check out Caesars and Bally's HL bac games, that would be great. Would be interested in whether they have a lot of tables. Also, if they the games are touch games and using preshuffled cards (all 8 decks come in a single box to the table).

I'm planning to be there for a weekend in Dec (12-14) and my CET host is saying Caesars is where I should stay. I actually thought Harrah's looked better, but at least at Caesars it is easy to play at Bally's as well, where Harrah's is all by itself. After next weekend in Vegas, I expect a big level up, so will be at my highest units when hitting AC for first time.

I am in AC a lot.

I have stayed in both Caesar and Harrahs... Your best rooms are Borgata. It was the Revel.

Caezars has better rooms than Harrahs. Harrahs has the Pool and thats about it...I really dont play there much cause I dont get 'lucky'. Caezars and Ballys are connected so you dont need to go outside to explore both. Its now very cold here ~20deg.

Also Caesars in the first casino you encounter since Trump Plaza is now closed. You are 1 block away from the outlet malls to keep your day busy. Also Caesars in connected to the Ocean 1 mall and you should eat at Continental (3rd floor) as they are pretty good. That mall on third floor also has a great place to overlook the ocean. You will see what I mean...so Caesars in the place.

The bac tables are in the Asian pit and minimums start at $25 but are usually 100 Friday - Sunday.

Hey Mc88, thanks for all the good info. I'm all set up at Caesar's. From the property map, it looks like Caesar's has a HL table room -- is that the same as the Asian pit you refer to, or is the pit on the main casino floor area? Do you happen to know if the HL bac games are touch games and use preshuffled cards? I saw another post where you said all the AC games are preshuffled -- do you know if the cards are in a cardboard sealed box, or in a platic container or tray? I'm not too concerned about the table limits, as I will be playing way above whatever they are at.

I dont think I aswered this...

There are 2 HL rooms. I never go into the one where the crap table is. That has roulette, craps and mostly BJ tables.

The one I was referring to is the Asian pit which would be the one closest to the doors to the boardwalk.

And I will not say that most cards are for sure pre-shuffled. I did find one table at Tropicana that is actually hand shuffled, no shuffler machine.

Its virtually immpossible to get on that table. high rollers were literally betting once every 5 - 10 minutes. They just sit there and count their chips.

Not sure if you play alone but I would not mind watching if your around...

I'm extremely interested in how you guys do with MDB+ in Atlantic City.

We know for sure it beats Vegas and Singapore - Probably Macau as well. I'd like to be sure about AC as well.

Don't get me wrong - I see no reason it wouldn't.

It's just that we are talking about the highest performance numbers in the history of gambling so I want to see it proven for an absolute fact.

I know that a lot of you guys are still trying to get this system down pat.

It's simple enough - no modes - but a lot of folks these days just can't get stuff from the written word. They need a blackboard demonstration where they can ask questions right then and there and see just how this system works and why.

There really aren't many good places to have a semimar right in AC but we could have one close by and rent a van - unless somebody knows of a good place.

Come to think of it, there was that one nice motel right in AC we used a few years ago. That worked out real good and we could all stay right in AC. - maybe have a van for the Philadelphia airport. We could get group room and meal rates.

Would you guys like to do this?

Would you prefer Dec of Jan?

I think I've got one more seminar left in me and East coast is easier for me.

Why not have it at Tunica? They have several Places where you can hold the seminar. Attendees will have to fly into Memphis or Little Rock, or Jackson.

Is the Gold Strike a good place to play baccarat?

Ed Gil

Well right, I would love that because it is easiest for me to get to.

But, I don't think any casino in Tunica has preshuffled cards now that Harrah's closed.

Gold Strike/Horseshoe is a good NOR casino complex.

The reason I'm thinking AC is because they've gone to preshuffled making them ideal for MDB+.

Are you around this weekend?

I maybe out tonight. Trop or balley.

I could watch you play if you are around. I can be at a distance if needed. I can't play hl yet.

Hey mceight8, I am in AC this weekend--- just got on line while taking a short break. Playing at Caesar's some more tonight if you want to stop by.
