Users brad01 Posted January 4, 2015 Users Report Posted January 4, 2015 Hi guys could someone answer the following:What does touch vs no touch game mean? What is the version where the dealer gives the players the cards and they can check them before they are turned over and what difference does that make? Thanks Quote
ekotr Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 In touch game they trow out used cards Quote
Users ECD Posted January 4, 2015 Users Report Posted January 4, 2015 Since the players touch and handle the cards, the cards must be discarded after the game. Players sometimes get angry when losing and rip or damage the cards. Also some players take half a minute check the cards and therefore touch games take twice as long as non touch games. The touch games are usually high limit tables of $25 or higher. Quote
Users brad01 Posted January 4, 2015 Author Users Report Posted January 4, 2015 Thanks for you replies. I just want to understand what's going on when I go to play for real money. don't want to piss people off at tables for not knowing the rules. Quote
Guest Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 I highly recommend not playing touch...waste of time really and annoying! Quote
Users brad01 Posted January 4, 2015 Author Users Report Posted January 4, 2015 Hi Hamster, thanks for your advice. They do look annoying and slower than other versions but I think they all use preshuffled cards or mostly all and that's what MDB+ thrives on.Based on what I have learnt as a 'payed member' so far (ha. ha. - friendly dig) don't worry about how long it takes to play a shoe or place a bet just pick the game that's the easiest to win at.If you want to win more and your % win rate is good (which it should be for MDB+) then play higher stakesAll the best for your playing 2015!
