Bac tournement + sys.40

Hi guys!

I subscribed in a Baccarat Tournament between members of BaccaratForums, It was a challenge between members, to prove our skill and learning sources.

I decided to start with System 40 from S40A because I find it quite flexible and because I'm quick to change on my feet to fit the shoe at hand.

.

My plan was to wait few hands initially (I started at pl.6) to see how the shoe was starting and to adapt the system to the outcome. Even if not in the rules, in case of very low 1s my idea was to skip the 1st bet, starting from the 2nd of the series.

Fortunately the shoe was mostly choppy and I didn't need any variations.

I started flat betting and then switched to 1,2,3. No higher bets were needed.

It helped also the fact that till the 2nd half of the shoe no 4s appeared so I set 4s as culprit and this held up to the end.

I made a couple of mistakes during the tournament, esp. due to typing otherwise my score would have been higher.

Notice that I was 1st in the 2 categories: the HIGHER SCORE and the HIGHER NUMBER OF BETS WON.

This is due to the correct reading of the shoe according to SYSTEM 40 method and a little adjustment from play 70 to 84 where I switched to OTB4L to catch a 2s run. The strength of this system is the flexibility and with little adjustment you can make it fit every shoe. Naturally it takes some learning effort and practicing before fighting the casino but results are guaranteed if you stick to your plan and NEVER DEVIATE from it!

good shoes everyone!

I must confess that I was also in this tournament, under my old BF name of

Baccarat Kid, aptly stolen from one of Archer's pseudonyms. I finished second

to Andrea by one winning bet. I also played S40 from the start. I played just

as I would have in the casino. My highest bet was 4 units and that happened

only twice in the shoe. As Andrea said it was choppy, never a run more than

4, altho there were ZZ runs of 5, 5 and 8, all of which I caught. I hit +30 in the

middle of the 4th column. If it was real play I would have gotten out somewhere

in the high 20's. I went from +30 to +19 when I missed most of the 2's Andrea

jumped on, but I came back to +25 at the end. Two of the other 4 players wound up

ahead, one was even and one got killed, but Andrea and I finished 1-2. I also

made one typing error that cost me 2 units. I must say that the whole thing was

run very well. One of the guys ran a computer program that simulated an 8 deck

shoe and posted results after every hand. It was played out on Skype and took about

90 minutes after a few kinks slowed things at the start. Garnabby did not show up.

Here is the shoe. Columns don't add up to 20 because of ties, which were ignored.

There will be another shoe played next Sunday at 5 eastern time.

Cheers

That's because Garnabby hasn't a clue how to play. Thinks the game can't be beat.

This is just phenomenal! First Place was fabulous. But those idiots will say its just luck. But First AND Second. Hard to argue with that. Seems like a pretty strong trend to me.

I wish I could post over there but Mike has my IP blocked due to my Son's misguided posts over there. Can't say as I blame him. But it seems I can blame him NOW!

New members: BF or BaccaratForums is the second leading Baccarat site on the internet with BTC being first but I must add that they are a very distant second. About the only constructive Baccarat posts you'll see there are mine, posted under "Ellis". Their whole forum is one huge argument. The fact that BTC took first and second place in their tournament should tell you something. We are a cut above. Our systems actually work. Note how both of our long standing members selected the same system. and beat all comers. It's no surprise to me. BF has no teacher. Esp, now that I am blocked.

Hey Paul, Andrea, maybe I can get one of you guys to post for me over there. My user name is "Ellis" and my password is theplayer. Here's my post:

"I see my beatthecasino guys took First and Second place in your tournament. I rest my case! Ellis"

I'm sure that will start another war.

Just mention that you are posting for me because my IP is banned. Maybe that will help get me unbanned. But probably not.

BTW here's the message I get when I try to log in at BF:

"vBulletin Message

You have been banned for the following reason:

Disruptive behavior with absolutely no constructive baccarat discussion.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

Ain't that cute.

Yea now bring on your standard deviation BULLSHIT which they know nothing about anyway, or any distribution let alone which one to use in a gambling situation, to prove random or non random, and we will give them a lesson on variable change and more importantly assignable cause variation. I never see anyone commenting on that which is what counts.

I guess getting first and second was luck? For my money it was expected results considering we know how to play the game better. We know and learn things they don't know. But their egos get in their own way. Just like in Vegas when the infinite genius who stood behind us and watched us win hand after hand saying all they were doing was playing OTB4l. No shit that's what was working in the game.

Well I actually didn't want to start that much of a war. I was thinking more of an Obama type approach to war.

You know I'm not surprised that these particular two guys took first and second place. I've met and played with both of them. Zebra, many times. You couldn't hope to meet two finer gentlemen. Had dinner with Andrea and his wife at the finest restaurant in Vegas. Have had fine dinners with Zebra many times, many places. I'm not surprised they won because both are the kind of real men that will be successful in anything they attempt. They are both disciplined, well studied and well practiced. Both great examples for the new guys.

I have often compared Baccarat to Golf. It's like a gun fight. Very decisive. The best man wins. All the preemptive BS and posturing becomes instantly meaningless. The cards are on the table. Now we find out who the best man is.

It's very much like the hundred or so public casino Bac and BJ exhibitions I performed after each of my seminars. There you are. There's the table. There's the dealer. There's my chips, always 12 blacks. 150 people are watching your every play. You don't get do-overs. Now, you put your money where your mouth is. All bull shit aside. I won every single time.

The card counting sites say: "empirical data is meaningless, he probably cheated." Oh really? To me, like most players, winning is everything. Their "correct play" is what becomes instantly meaningless. And exactly how does a player cheat in either game? Unless you call skill cheating.

How did I do that? That's exactly what I'm trying to teach you.

Wait a minute! Somthing fishy is going on here. I smell a rat! There is no way that the same 2 players could come in 1st and 2nd ....

in 2 Separate Baccarat Tournaments!!

No way on earth......that is, UNLESS both of those guys happen to be members of the best baccarat forum on the planet.. BTC!

Great work Andrea and Paul. You make us proud!

Hi All

The 2nd shoe was much more streaky than the first. There were runs of 5, 5, 7 (all Banker)

and a ZZ of 6. S40 handled it quite well with a max bet of 5 units (twice) thanks to the help

of the SAP count. I finished +27 units before commish. There was also a 3rd shoe which

Andrea did not play - lucky for him. It bounced from chop to streak to chop. I was at + 14

at play 16 and down to -12 after a couple of streaks at play 34. I managed to finish at +4

units (1.5 after commish).

Of the 6 participants in Shoe 2, only 4 including me and Andrea won more bets than they lost.

one of the others still managed to lose over 400 units anyway. After 3 shoes I am +51.5

units after commish while never betting more than 5 units. All I can say is

THANK YOU MASTER ELLIS

Once again your methods come out on top!

Paul
