    thanks

  2. my best wishes, too. hope that the words of many kind persons like our members, will lean you to prompt healing!
  3. CC, I agree with you 100%. this kind of play require a lot of mental effort... and practice. I started testing too and it takes a lot of time initially, then with some training you go faster. sometimes you must change the resistance points, not only on high, when you lose, but also on the low side when you watch the spread comeback from a high point.
  4. like poker, IMHO baccarat is a skill game with a part of luck. you cannot control cards dealt BUT you can control how you react to them...
  5. nice question... to become a bac pro is a tough choice, i am a very experienced player but even if i could have the possibility to play full time i am involved in family business, so i keep this opportunity for my retirement time. my suggestion is to start part time, so your inevitable mistakes would not effect your life, then if you will be successful at table for a couple of years you should be ready for becoming a pro. you need 3 things to have success: - knowledge, and you'll find the best available here on BTC - mindset, because with no correct mindset you will never reach stable results. I teached a good method coaching a guy from macau but, when he was on the tables, he cannot have control on himself and failed miserably (and i wasted my time) - bankroll, because you could not imagine to play with scared money, at least you need 3 to 5 grand. you cannot miss just one of these required factors...
  6. Ellis, if you are interested in asian market there is a magazine, both online and on paper that advertise macau's casinos. you can find it here: www.worldgamingmag.com anyway it's an interesting reading...
  7. Hi Ellis, I must say that I think to know everything about bac sites on the net but since baccaratforums gave up there are no discussion at all about baccarat. A suggestion: the far east market I think that could be a great opportunity because is rich of avid players. sometimes I play for fun in a baccarat app for my iPad where you play on line together with other people, like a casino table, it's very funny but you don't have idea how many people play there. if just a little % could be attract by BTC you'll have maaaany more members for sure.
  8. English roulette or "fairoulette" is single 0 but similar to american roulette European roulette or "french roulette" has a bigger table and different layout with 3 employees to manage the bets
  9. K., interesting post. just a question: when you get the disparity and start betting for it, how long your attack will go on? IE, till LL, till a stated stop loss or wint, etc... thanks
  10. I play at 888.it but I think it exists also as .com
  11. Hi, just wondering: is it so cold Vancouver in winter? here I'm at ar. 0° C (32° F). ciao
  12. Hi guys, I played Roulette for some yrs before baccarat. It was european roulette, where on even chances you pay a tax of 1.74%. In american roulette you pay more than 5%! About biases: in bac you have 2 kind of bias, one is due to shuffling and the other one is caused by the law of figures and to the relative variance. In Roulette you have just the 2nd one. Biases exist in R. too but I can't suggest playing at 5% tax!
  13. Hi Ellis, talking about SAP I can't avoid enter this post. SAP, IMO, is the most powerful tool invented in the history of bac. Obviously it has advantages and disadvantages but, used properly, it gives you edge. By properly I mean under the right conditions; like NOR you must find a biased shoe where an event (1s, 2s, 3s, 4s+) is appearing much more than its normal average OR when an event is appearing less than its avg. In this situation YOU CAN'T LOSE! Like Ellis said there's room for improvement; I could suggest to watch P side and B side separately: when there's a dominant side the MC/LC event can vary a lot if you consider P side only or B side only (when there's no domination it doesn't worth make this job). A smart eye take care of this phenomenon. But where's the dark side? I prefere talk more about the difficulties you'll meet; when things goes well, no advices needed! There are 2 kind of problems and if you know and recognize them you can decrease the damage. As said before, when a shoe is not biased, the events tend to appear closed to the normal avg: HERE YOU HAVE NO EDGE! Avoid betting this situations basing your bets on SAP. Another problem you'll find is when an event LC or MC start to recover its normal avg (appearing more or less than avg after a biased part of the shoe). Under this condition you have a high (or low) SAP count but this count don't reflect the actual situation; you must take adequate countermeasures, don't bet blindly just checking the count but start cautiously reconsidering the new situation. Comments or questions are welcome! ciao
  14. Hi Joey, first, I think that you're in the middle of the river. I mean that you can recognize the problem but don't know yet how to solve it. This is a good thing, recognizing a problem is the very first step to solve it. I can suggest to work on your play in deep: after any session check your scorecard, try to find errors and learn from them so to not repeat them. A second step should be in building your confidence, you can reach it just practicing, till you get affordable, continuative, good results. More you play, better you'll play! ...and NEVER GIVE UP! share your results, pose correct questions, in this forum you'll find the right help! ciao andrea
  15. Hi guys! I agree 100% with Ellis. Very often we are the worst enemy of ourselves. How can you manage fear and bad flows? With practice and experience; discipline and right mindset. Since 18 months I didn't enter a live casino, just online play: I never played so much shoes like in this period, ever. The nice thing is that session after session my confidence grows, I have no fear, I'm a machine against a machine, I bet in my range only and went out when required: from october I quadrupled my BR. Luck? Nooo, hard work. Any sportman trains every day, NBA, NHL, NFL, baseball players, every day work to perfect their game, do you think we don't need this? You must train your mind, train your play, positive results WILL COME if you'll work well. NOTHING'S FOR NOTHING
  16. In BF there's a guy stating that he can teach NOR. The thread is: S40-OTB4L-F2-3=NOR system However the support from Ellis can't be substituted from a Mr.Noone!
  17. Hi Napoleon you're welcome! NOR is the best available approach to play bac but require some efforts from your part. Bac is a tough game, NOR drives you to play the shoes at best but you need to make your own part playing with discipline relying to the rules. There's no shortcuts to success, like things of real life! BUUUUT if you'll do your job you'll be SUCCESSFUL!!!!!! take care
  18. Hi Boss, I reached the manual and really appeciate it! Even if I'm quite familiar with the whole approach, I found it clear and of a great help to improve my game. Together with the shared samples I think it's the perfect tool for everyone. Unfortunely I'll not be in LV for the seminar because december is the busiest month for my business and I really can't move! It's a shame losing the opportunity to meet our fellow members! I can't forget my last time in Vegas where we met at Gold Strike, I enjoied this experience a lot! regards andrea
  19. Hi Guys, My recent experience: Here in Italy a new gambling law allowed new on-line casino opening. In the past I usually played at Dublin-bet and Black Orchid - no problem there. Sunday I charged some money in a new casino, 888.it. After some plays I realized that the software was charging my losses but not my winnings. I called the pit-boss and made a complain; today the problem is not solved (4 days passed); hope that it will be soon. It would be nice if they didn't charge my losses at all: I think that everything would be adjusted yet! So play but with attention. Dealer's make mistakes in live casino too! ciao
  20. ...very likely you don't read posts closely. You'll find the answers...
  21. PJ, I played in Dublin this spring in that place (Fitzwilliam card club). It's little but there's a friendly atmosphere. I played 3 shoes with 1 3s only! so sweet! ciao
  22. Hi boss, in my experience I try to check this but playing this way puts me in a bad feeling for 2 main reasons: 1) it's against my whole game-philosophy and I'm used to adhere to my principle 2) I'd play not really trusting in my bets waiting for the shoe changing again... and this is not so good IMHO it's better wait better spots, it's a more relaxing way! ciao
  23. Hi guys, I'm still back from my vacations on french "d'Azur" coast and reading all this stuff about SAP makes me happy. My good friend PJ's explain a lot about how he's applying the SAP concept and no-one could disagree from him. SAP is the powerful tool I know and, frankly, I could not play seriously without it, but it's not infallible! What could we do when SAP doesn't work? First: when the events count tend to be tied you should start to think: "pay attention! there's something wrong with this shoe!" even if you're losing a couple of units, WAIT! Wait for a clear bias! NO ADVANTAGE = NO PLAY! Sitting out and wait is another big advantage the casino doesn't have but we have it and is a MUST when things are not going well! There are shoes where the count is balanced -they exist- when I lose a bet against the LC event, the next time I should play that event, I wait and see what happens: if this my paper bet were favorable I restart playing it, otherwise I usually see what kind of event is taking the place of LC event and bet accordingly. To make this last operation requires some experience but you can get the idea. When you have a MC event, this means that an event is coming more than avg, but this means also that another one is coming less than avg! Sometimes a LC event tend to recover its avg, this means that another one start disappearing, you must take advantage of this! sappers are welcome! ciao
