  1. MVS, The video is spotty all the time lately. Sometimes several shoes go by with no video, but everything behind the black curtain seems to be OK. I mean the shoes seem normal to me, no hanky-panky but I don't think I would play big there with not video feed. Could just be too tempting for them to cheat.
  2. Hey cool MVS I was playing the same shoe but had to leave at play#52. Now I can fill in the blanks. Even though I was playing it with ADN elite + I was noting the shoe was F2P till #29 F2B to #34 and F2P to #40 and F2B to where I had to leave the house at #52. ADN Elite + only had +5 units for me by hand #52. This calls into question an override position in strong bias with ADN E +. Still not a bad showing for almost 100% mechanical blind off the top. Sys 40 would have done well too. I have 23 singles recorded by my exit time. I see I made a singles count error should be 22 singles by #52. I hate when I mess up the singles count.
  3. Ha, I thought a blue light mean't there is a special on fruit of the looms on aisle 12.
  4. Thanks for posting this information on Sportsbook.com. I saw someone mentioned that place had live dealer baccarat and U.S friendly but when I went to the site and promptly got lost trying to find the live games, so gave up on it. Glad to hear there may be a place we can now play BOC for $$$. P.S. I've seen the screen shots of 5dimes live Bac and definately not BOC. I checked them out a couple months back and see that they lease their feed out to a couple of other casinos. As I recall 5dimes is another Costa Rica based outfit with a good sportbetting reputation. I have not made a deposit there yet.
  5. Having used these mild prog's quite abit I agree that you should alter it slightly to follow the shoe. The progression has to follow your intention and the only way that I could do that is to alter it slightly as the shoe unfolded. I am not sure how a static prog will fair over a wide variety of shoe types. But I always find that for my own style of play I have to vary progs... drop down to flat bets when necessary to stay within my comfort zone as well as to try and match my strategy with the appropriate progression for what I am seeing. I'm not sure that makes sense but is all I can manage tonight.
  6. I logged onto Bph and caught the tail of that opposite run (longest one I have seen there in a long time). Was still shaking out the cobwebs so I figured having missed the long opposite run maybe the next couple columns may be short on 1's and were slightly. Anyway I started with ADN(elite) and quickly started with that and it did pretty well even though I somehow gave back 3 units in the 2nd column the 3rd added +16 units to the overall score and ended for me +33 with ADN(elite). I am still working that system out. I ended the shoe with 2 banks ( I think that is the only recording difference) I ended with #71 hands. Nice shoe but I am still just getting used to ADN elite and playing it carefully watching for anything to jump out. It is still a pretty weird system to watch unravel to me. I am messing with a couple options and using a conservative start. It was nice that 3's were least common all the way played with Sys40A. I don't think LC much matters with ADN elite. Good system for garbage chop and can do well in other stuff too, but still must run many more shoes to see how it all shakes out.
  7. Interesting discussion on playing conditions. How to play highly inconsistent shoes that require system change or progression change and possibly bet deviations and occasionally pausing or even bailing the table if you are totally confused on what tack to take. I don’t claim to have the answer to this but if you find yourself at tables and you are confused as to how to play the shoe you are probably playing a highly segmented shoe. It sure pays to know a little casino history when it comes to this but in my mind these game types (highly segmented) are no accident. If you can imagine what we have to do to adjust to these kinds of shoes just imagine what it does to the average player. I expect to see more of these shoe types and have for the better part of a year adjusted recording shoes in blocks of ten plays. After ten hands I note what would have been the best system to have played those ten hands. I write it in the margin of the card something like RD or 43 or F2 or F3 etc. As a holdover from Maverick original I note RDH or Anti also. Some shoes hold a position for a whole shoe and sometimes perhaps ½ a shoe. But more than likely you will run into shoes that point to a system change every 10 or 20 hands at times. Sometimes it is a minor change like F2 changing Bank to Player but still the same mode but I still record everything. This includes ratios of B vs. P every 10 hands to the overall shoe B/P count. I also found it helpful to count and record OTB4L vs. TB4L and a dot count of Maverick original with a tweak that hopefully makes it more accurate. I find that recording a lot of data is very helpful not only within that shoe but as a record of the tendencies of the casino you are playing. I find I am seldom surprised any more even in the most bizarre shoes. In short, track everything you can physically track. You’ll get very fluid at this with practice. You can get so fluid with this that you can scan a tote board (if kept accurate) and do a lot of this in your head and make a winning first bet while you catch up on your card. I don’t want to get to technical here but I also look for exploit situations. I am now using an old up as you win ladder betting system that Ellis came up with a long time ago and look to deploy this in consistent plus to neutral count shoes that would be considered good OTB4L shoes and play the plus version in well balanced shoes. Using a 3 unit stop loss you set yourself up for a big win or the shoes changes and you pick up from there as normal. Since this uses a count to determine plus and minus modes I now also keep a C/S count for this and Sys 40A as well as a dual Sap arrangement on a standard card. The dual Sap I just enter a a colored fraction over the regular SAP count. In some shoes this is very helpful and justifies doing it but usually single SAP is enough. I also keep the 4 or mores counted as normal and make it a / and enter the 4’s as +8 under it as a fraction. This way if the shoe is minus and starts to swing into chop I have a true count for determining LC (least common). I know this may sound painful to do but with practice it comes to you pretty quick. The better you track a shoe the more it keeps you on top of difficult situations and as Ellis so aptly pointed out, keeps you from making those big bets in the worst of shoes. I like that Ellis is keeping the negative progs low with Sys 40A. It shows that you can keep a negative progression 3 Hi or less and still do well. I’m not going to upload any of my cards as it will just open a can of worms. Been there, done that before. I leave the system design to the designers. I just tweak things to suit my own style. I’m just tossing in my 2 cents for what it’s worth. Well it’s back to the Bac cave for Papadu. Swoosh P.S. Keep up the good work !!! I
  8. Even better, by 8:00 pm last night I was beginning to run a fever and was alternately going from to hot to shivering…buffalo robes to cold packs etc. I haven’t been around much lately and was curious how this web conference thing would work out. I want to add to the others here wishing Ellis and his son a heart felt blessing. Tom
  9. Bph continues to have trouble. I can sometimes get on the $500.00 bac table, but this whole weekend and into this Monday morning I have been unable to penetrate the $5.00 table. Keep getting that box that says socket connection failed. Getting to be a real PITA.
  10. Man, Bph is having problems keeping anything going today. I started out playing baccarat and that went down, moved over to roulette too try playing a little Maverick on roulette and that went down. A few minutes ago the only live game still running was Blackjack. I had never tried it but it was going nowhere for me and is very slow too. It was the first time I saw a dealer keep a conversation going with someone off camera. I wonder if the dealers are getting frustrated with the down time.
  11. Yeah Guys, I just experienced the "you've been kicked out of this shoe flag a few minutes ago." As a preface let me say that over the last few days I have been playing at various times of the day to kind of get a feel for the shoes in different shifts but I guess 3 days ago I had like a $7500.00 dollar balance in my fun account and is my habit I usually have a few drinks at that point and try to play seat of the pants stuff until I wipe out my balance. I have always figured it is just good policy to not even run up a humongous score in fun mode. I've always done this at Dublinbet also. I just figured it was the smart thing to do. However I was playing late Weds day night this week and the nickel table froze up so I flipped over to the $500.00 minimum table and played fun mode and added several thousand to my account playing my conservative style. It works real well in tables with high minimums but low maximums (probably "trap tables" ) for some high stake players. But I was just screwing around and was kind of wondering how many people would actually be playing a $500.00 minimum table on a casino site that has a hard time keeping a signal going. So just for practice over the last 3 days whenever the nickel table gets on my nerves I flip over to the $500. 00 table and it is always running faster than the nickel table. So being digitally challenged I just figure they want to keep their big players happy so they adjust their system to add more bandwidth to the high stakes table. I like to play a little faster and being that their high stakes table runs quicker I was practicing playing $500.00 stakes and found four or the five shoes I have played there in the last 72 hours to be very productive with Maverick. Only one of the shoes I faced had a weird 1's signature and that shoe proved to be a pain in the ass but I played it anyway (knowing better) and still only lost a couple units on that one. The other four shoes were nice and trendy and very easy to win with Maverick. Probably any progression would have done well but I was using the conservative progression that I outlined in the last month or so in the M&M thread. In any case over the last three shoes I upped my fun account 23 grand. It almost seems like these shoes are slipping back to the "old" days there (prior to the short shoes) . But tonight when I hit a particularly trendy shoe and added like 11 grand to my account on the one streaky shoe I figure this is pretty good deal. Anyway I was watching the tube during the shuffle and it was one of those times where they "forget" to erase the board and being I was just practicing doing the tracking in my head I didn't have a score card to refer back to tell me where the new shoe began. It was just tagging onto the end of the prior shoe and I saw it was going OT so was about to make my starter bet and up popped that “your getting kicked out of this shoe” bit so not knowing what to make of that I headed over to the nickel table and yeah it was crawling along but it started with a couple banks and I started betting after the next player (fun mode) because I have been dealing with a lot of shit today and did not think I should be playing for money. Anyway I forgot I was on the nickel table and was betting table max and player went six in a row with me betting table maximum so I thought I would head over here before I got kicked off that table too and I see the prior posts regarding this new flag. I agree it is a little crude to say the least but maybe something was lost in translation. In any case I am glad it wasn't directed at me personally. P.S. Another observation: On one of the days I was practicing on the $500.00 table the signal was lost in the middle of a shoe. I was wondering how people playing a $500.00 min would react to having a game drop out like that. I think the other table was up but I think I would personally go to a brick and mortor casino for any high stakes activity even if it meant inferior playing conditions. Obviously some people don't have a problem with it or they would have knocked that minimum down $100.00 by now. They definately need more bandwidth to run these live games. From what I read on the sport forums they just need more high quality digital infrastructure in Costa Rica. Hopefully they will get some soon.
  12. Did you see the whole shoe ? The reason I'm asking is a morning shoe today started 11:44 am EST today had a glitch and at hand # 8 I had just recorded and was about to bet and I looked away and when I looked back the board was erased and the history too. I don't recall exactly what I thought at the time as I was just sippin coffee and getting going. But I continued recording as if nothing had happened and the shoe went SAP 11, 10, 16, 24 and the shoe ended on hand #68. Had I not seen the beginning of the shoe erased I would have figured it as a 60 hand shoe. It was a nice balanced streaker as it was, longest straight run 7R, three 5's a 6R and a 4R . It was an easy shoe for RD-H the whole way even with the four lone 1's. I haven't seen any short shoes lately but plenty of washing, some double team washes and occasionally a single dealer will wash at any time of day. I don't know their criteria for the shuffle changes now. Even though I have not seen a short shoe lately they may slip one in on occasion. Play cautiously if you do not see the whole shoe. The nickel table froze up on me this morning so I turned on fun mode and played T-2 ( the $500.00 minimum job.) Both shoes pretty good. I flipped into my conservative progression and both shoes ended at +14.5. Really bumped up my fun account in a big hurry. Also the game moved along at the normal pace of about 1hour and 10 or 15 minutes per shoe. Maybe that was because the other table was down the whole time and they had more bandwidth to run the single table. I don't know. T-1 is back up and running now. UPDATE: Oy, I just dropped into the nickel table at Bph and it is a about ½ way done. Has a nice OTB4L start then 13 Banks in a row followed by a bunch of players right now. 7:20 pm EST. Check it out !
  13. That's the preliminary conclusion that I came too after a quick search. It seems complicated. I think maybe if you have a good friend or relative that live in a country that permits online gaming you might be able to hook things up if you could have the financial thing handled by your partner. 30% of the take would be a nice incentive to have them set up a separate computer ( send money for computer) and as far as access could you use something like www.gotomycomputer.com to access and play the games. I tried go to my PC.com or whatever it is called to remotely try it when they had a free trail offer and it worked great accessing my computer with the wife’s laptop but that was in the USA. Anyway without a “license to hack†or some total insider techno deal it seems like the best route to try if you have a relative in Europe or wherever it is legal and make a juicy proposition with front money for computer and extra tech setup and hassle money. Maybe then it is feasible with less probability of arousing suspicion. Just have the relative do the financials and send you a shoebox full of buckos minus their commish. I think it could be very lucrative for a dedicated partnership as long as you don't hit one outfit too often for too much. With my miniscule financial and techno abilities that seems to be a possible shortcut for some even though not very convenient. I'll investigate this further on one of those rainy days. Sounds like a rainy day program to me. I checked out of Bph an hour ago and I think the last shoe went 2 hours or so. At least it felt that way as I had it figured wrong and only netted 4.5 units with a conservative progression. I looked at it at the end and saw definite sys 40 possibilities even though I don't think it was great for anything but a small win with most floating systems. Bph actually did a pretty good job in a short time plugging some holes in their very exploitable super trendy streak shoes but they still haven't been able to nail down dealing mostly all neutral most as of this time. Just a couple days a go I had a 80 unit shoe with Maverick and some Opposite exploit and a big shoe change in the second half with two 9's that I was so shocked to see I only ladder bet one of the balanced streaks. B and P were running about equal disparity and two 9 in a rows came out in the second half. I was caught a bit off guard or I would have scored more on that one. Where there’s a will, there's a way, or at the very least a dead person (on paper ?)… last weeks 60 minutes flashback on dead doctors billing Medicare for prostate operations on women and male pregnancy pay-offs and other multimillion dollars scams are just the tip of the iceberg there. The expert admitted the sophisticated scam operations are to far advanced for the normal red light programs to pick up on. Only the boneheads get caught.
  14. Well I just thought I would check in here. I was playing at Bph today and the feed has been horrible. When I left Monica was frozen in time. Anyone got and ice pick head'in down Costa Rica way ? Poor girl is going to get all cramped up posing like that forever. Obviously Bph still has problems with their network. There were a couple of times I could not get my bet accepted even placing it as early as I could manage. All the time they spend worrying about a few players winning some colons they maybe should have dug deeper and had their feed fixed (if humanly possible with current Costa Rica digital infrastructure. It’s totally hit or miss there. I usually play after midnight and you just never know. Still just the 2 tables going...if that at times. I do have to thank the Bph chiefs for rounding up Carolina and putting her back in the game. It seems they fixed her wardrobe problem...drats I wonder what they have the rest of the dealers doing with only one or two baccarat shoes going. Did they add some more live roulette or BJ (I doubt it as the live games are resource hogs) as I haven‘t checked. It is almost humorous when someone off camera is having to direct the dealer to slow every thing down to accommodate the feed lag at times. Some shoes go over three hours when it is real bad there. Shoes used to average about 1 hour 11 minutes or so before the big freeze. Beats me. We need a Costa Rican connection to get to the bottom of this. I still find it difficult to believe that the UIEGA bill got passed and in reading around a little it is clearer to me that the people who voted on that had no idea that it was anything other than a port security bill to curtail terrorism. Nobody didn't want to appear to be against securing our ports from the terrorist so it seems as if it was penned without much thought if any to this Uiega thing that was attached to it. How this went down is beyond me. Sure would be nice to be able to play all the outfits offering live baccarat instead of just one. The world court ruled the Uiega thing to be illegal or just idiotic. They say at most the bill only stops financial interests from processing deposits and withdrawals from these places. Good grief too much for me! If the world court is still scratching their combined head over some of the bills that got past in the last decade join the club. This thread started more than a month ago when they started shorting the shoes. It really didn't surprise me that they took some measures to tighten up their game but the more they did just left them open for other exploit maneuvers. That bring up the point being discussed here about reacting to the shoe at hand. I still base my game on Maverick and track RH vs.Anti RH however when the game is shouting with long ZZ runs I hit them sometimes. The same thing with very trendy Otb4l shoes. This is how Maverick started out but as Mark was attempting to make it simpler he gradually dropped off most of the early Maverick exploit stuff and ended with RD-H and F2. These two methods married together with the guidelines that Mark wrote up for them are very effective in the vast majority of shoes. However personally when I see something that I can exploit I use all the tools. That includes changing progressions also. I can start a shoe flat betting and end up playing U1D1M..or optional bet.. to follow. It’s more work but for me but interesting to follow and bet a shoe as close to perfect as possible to not only win units but to control downturns. But a lot of this is difficult to teach and I think Mark did an exceptional job of designing a simple method of winning an awful lot of shoes with particularly U1D2M2. In my opinion all that you have to do is play opposites when they are the key event and OTB4L when the 2’s are flowing like the Nile. Just keep and eye on the rest of the stuff and adjust your progressions to minimize drawdown and maximize return. I have a question for Ellis or anyone that is mathematically inclined that I brought up in a post a few days a go in the Maverick thread. I was tracking RD-H and Anti with the DOTS until recently when I changed to actually writing in the number… so +13 for RD-H and say -7 for Anti RD-H. I was wondering if it is more precise to count the Anti numbers that fall at the end of the run as -.5 rather than as Mark and others just count it as a whole number. It should seem as if the end of the run loss should not count a full unit to my sensibilities but I don’t know exactly why. I suppose as played with Maverick it is an inevitable loss so I was even keeping my DOT chart with the end of the run “DOT” as a circle to differentiate it from a “primary loss”. Maybe this is not important or really all that mathematically calculable. In most systems we arrive at the idea that most of the time it is better to hit he end of the run with the inevitable losing bet then trying to guess when it will end. But depending on the progression you are using and the primary event you are facing you can do better by switching sides before the end of the run. At times as skip betting or OTB4L etc. does successfully in standard run shoes for example. By standard run I mean straight runs of 4 or 5... Skip.. the same with opposites of 4 or 5 counted correctly, or better yet OTB4L as an example. I’ll toss a shoe up later today with this ½ unit calculation for the Anti tracking in Maverick as a visual. It is not a hassle to do but I don’t know if it is meaningful mathematically wise. For all I know I may be screwing with something perfectly fine as it is. In any case it must be a minor detail. P.S. As someone brought up in this thread a while back about setting up a phony out of the country IP address. I went to the website that was posted and I got lost in the Nerd jargon. It did sound complicated to me. I didn’t really research any more than that. I did look at the free proxy servers like www. Proxy.com or something. They offer free proxy service for those that want to surf the net without leaving personal tracks but it is just the tip of the iceberg for setting up some out of country IP thing. Someone mentioned not to even try to set up a fun account at a “restricted” online casino with a proxy server as the online casinos are hip to this and they will ban you or something if you presumably sign up at their web casino using a proxy. That’s just what I read. I can only imagine it must be a little difficult to set up an account with a covert IP so you could play at Dublinbet and other legit places. It would seem to me you could be caught up in the internet security zone…AKA cyber cops cruising for bad guys and inadvertently be caught playing restricted” overseas casinos. These cyber cops could probably give a shit about someone playing online casinos when they are trolling for terrorists and father rappers and such. But you could get caught up in that if you were unlucky I guess. There was an older movie that Bill Murray was in that he dressed up as a clown to rob a NYC bank. Funny movie but forget the name but he hat a line in there like “ Those damn terrorists are making it tough for us bank robbers” That movie is probably 25 year’s old and already terrorism is mentioned. But the beat goes on. The damn terrorist were instrumental in causing a bill to be passed that the UIEGA thing piggy backed on. It is a bit out of my league. Next rainy day I will troll that sight again and ask about feasibility. P.S. The Bill Murray movie 1990 Quick Change. Very funny. I just thought of another older movie that is in the same venue. Going in Style…George Burns and Art Carney rob a NYC bank and go to Vegas and turn their small fortune into a larger one on the dice table. Pretty good. Thanks GOOGLE !
  15. Right Ellis, 8 deck hand shuffled oversized cards. They only introduced the wash in the last two or three weeks. Prior to them initiating the wash the cards had the longest and most consistent straight runs I have seen since Caesars Tahoe prior to say 96 or 97. The shoes I've played lately have more 1’a and jump more often between short sections of dirty TB4L and same with OTB4L. They use to have more 6 or mores but now I am seeing many shoes that only produce several 4's and the occasional 5 or 6 or more. Not as productive but still good for Maverick play. I had to clamp down and play pretty close attentions now to switches if I want to get the same number of units as before. With the shorter runs and more mixed chop I have to make the Anti-bets and see that I will probably be hitting some of the super chop shoes with TB4L exploit in the future. But even now you can drop into a shoe with a couple ten in a rows in there. The oversized cards must handle differently so these live online casinos must have had to get used to these things. I wonder if they use the oversized cards in any B&M casinos around the world. I would not see any reason for them to use them in a real casino setting. Dublinbet has been using normal cards with the zoom camera function for years without any problem. Some of the dealers with small hands seem to struggle a bit with the large cards especially if they are new to them. I used to be able to predict some of the dealers signature but the turnover of dealers has been voracious lately. I don’t know what’s up there. Update Sunday morning 5 am ish. I forget to mention I have never actually seen them change cards (like bring in fresh sealed decks or such) Maybe they just keep with the old decks until the code wears off. I just have never seen them bring in fresh cards. Sometimes a card will just refuse to scan and the Pit (camera/guy or whoever) will hand the dealer the proper card to replace the funky one and the game continues. I don't think these guys have many hard and fast rules on a lot of things, but they are extremely cautious to do everything in front of the TV running the current CNN broadcast or whatever. Kudos for that, however lately they are having major problems even keeping one table going. Earlier this evening I decided to try a shoe or two as I was a abit burnt out from overplaying the last couple days ( mainly because I am just to amped up on coffee and play until cocktail hour, lately around 8:00 am or so EST. I've become a night owl again recently. But last night the first shoe ( the one that started just after midnight of so on the T-1) for me took 3 hours and 40 some minutes to complete. It started out trash and in the 3rd column turned into a really good OTB4L shoe (I thought I had fallen asleep a was playing Dublinbet) but no way man I was in Costa Rica. They were having major problems with there feed and the next shoe was super slow even after they closed down the only other table open the $500.00 minimun job. I wonder what genius came up with that one. Do you really need a private table when your playing at home in you jammies ? I endured that for about half a shoe and then after the 3rd time I lost my 2 unit bet that was "late"and winning my one unit bets that were placed in the same time frame I just punched out and poured a tall one and thought I would just post this. My heart says they are just having internet trouble but last evening I was having a little trouble squaring that with the 2 unit bet was seemingly recognized and the little box poped up informing me I had past posted and the losing one unit bets recognized and seized when they lost. It happened to or three times in a brief time period and I still give them the benifit of the doubt unless I hear otherwise from members or other forums that are kicking this around. There are so may weird things going on now that it is hard to figure. I mean one five dollar minimum table and a $500.00 minimun table on a Saturday night when they only barely had enough feed to get one game out if you didn' mind playing 3 hour shoes online. The Betphoenix enigma continues.....
  16. Oops, That's why I put the chips away after I pop the cork. It must really be something to see for those that are new to the game. I am always astonded at how hard it is for the strong side to lose in those situations. That one blew through 3 ties and some tough draw card rounds before it finally lost near the end of the shoe. The last time I saw that kind of one sided shoe in the casino there I was at a table with all Asian players and we were of course betting with the bank in that case yet there was one guy on the other side of the table that bet against the bank until he ran out of chips. Lost thousands in the process. I've seen this activity more than a couple times and it is really baffalling to me. I have seen a number of bizarre things like that that defy easy explanation. But the casinos even have a few sometimes that will buck a super trendy shoe in the name of possibly winning the last bet. That's what keeps those lights burning 24/7. I watched part of the shuffle that led up to that shoe. I had enough time to throw together a quick breakfast and concoct a bloody mary so it was the wash they seem to do at the change of shift in the early morning hours. I see them sift through the cards examining the backs for defects I guess and do that sorting thing and then the wash. It is still to hard to figure these guys out. I just hope I'm alive next time they decide to throw out some more or those.
  17. gablaw, That was a shoe this morning June 6, 2010 started at aproximately 8:50 EST and ended at 10:25 am EST. The ending shoe hand was 095MJT if that matters. I was fighting to stay awake through that one.
  18. Man I was at the end of my session and slurping on a cocktail before bedby bye and was copying that shoe down. I was so tired I screwed up and only recorded 18 players but then came the chop and I went back and counted the board and it was a 20 players in a row and I was just watching a couple sheets to the wind. I'm going to throw it up in the M&M thread anyway with the errors. That is the longest straight run I have ever seen. I saw 19 at Ceasars Tahoe a long time ago. The strange thing is the dealer washed those cards for a long time. They are doing that big wash at, I guess, morning shift change now. The first half of that shoe was junk. I think I was half Anti betting and 1/2 RD-H. I just stared at it. Most expenseve bloody mary I ever sipped lol. Hey if anyone got a screenshot or picture of that one could you post it ?
  19. MVS, I played 3 shoes past midnight last night and the feed was up to speed again (only the two tables) and the shoes were full lengh like 65 to 70 plus hands. I still can't figure out what their motivation is for the cut card placement. Is it by pit orders or just up to the whim of the dealers. All I can figure is just play what you see. If you come into a shoe and don't know where the cut card is just play it like it is a short shoe. There shuffles were pretty much back to standard last night so I don't know what's going on the rest of the day there as I usually find myself there after midnight jungle time. Shoes were good last night but the real long straight runs they used to present are lacking somewhat with more TB4L to OTB4L transitions. Had one good F-shoe that went Bank half way and basically player F/X the second half. Never know what is going to happen when I tune into that place or even if they will be up and running. Stranger than friction but only online game in town for me. It kills me when they're down and I pop into Dublenbet and they are cruising along like always. UPDATE: Well checked tnto Bph about just before the server reset thing. I caught the beginning of what looked to be a super streaker and then had to go take care of something and came back and the streaker had turned into a F/3 job for a column and a half. As I was running around doing stuff I got myself into a whole betting F3. F3 was a good choice but on the other side DUH. So in the 3rd column a 6 banks come out and I am even and looking to score before the shoe ends or like what began to happen it turned to molassas (as in a slow as molassas). Anyway I figure F3 after the bank and this time I'm on the right side and put my big bet down WAAAY early (no pondering this one) and it hits awaiting the jingle and the payoff and the little box came up and said my bet was late. That was a pivotal bet and I blew off the rest of the shoe deciding to break even as it looked like the site was going to crash again. So back to the drawing board. The shoes were up to speed last night at this same hour and now it's looking like it is ready to crash again. If I ever find out the dude who started the UIEGA bit here in the states is on the take from the casinos.....well #*%@%& and all that to him. Guess I'll go back and try again. That shoe was going on 2 1/2 hours. They really need to get there technical stuff fixed. When there site is working fine the shoes are OK. But lately it's so hit and miss. Who knows
  20. Thanks NBA, That seems weird to me. I am going to look into this further. Well the last shoe that I played after the midnight EST server reset thing was still super slow. I was pumped up on coffee and if I recorded the time in and out of that shoe it was over two hours long. Then the whole thing went down Bogarts to obviously. I think if they didn't have a captive audiance with Americans and others from countries with anti online gambling laws they would have a hard time competing in an open market with so many technical issues. I haven't played over at BOC (fun mode only) in a long time so dropped in there to see if it might be a regional thing but their games were up to speed and looked good to me. Killed a couple of hours there and checked back with BPH but there still down. Well the coffee has worn off so go for a glass of wine and hit the hay.
  21. You have the play number. Just call or chat representative and I'm sure they will refund you the $. They are having server problems tonight. They got a 5 spot of mine but I didn't catch the hand # so I will just blow it off. This is pretty unusual for me. Slow server sometimes but I never had a bet snagged before.
  22. That is not normal in the context of password protected is it ? I am ignorant of the password protected things in computerland but I assumed a password was in most cases only known to the client, if it is a financial thing, ie Swiss numbered bank account. I guess I am wrong on this ? Oh if you are having trouble accessing Bph website you might want to try Bogarts but I see the $50.00 minimum table is the $5.00 table tonight anyway. What's up with these guys ? On another note I recieved a free $50.00 dollar chip from the other BPH site betphoenixcasino.com that says maximum withdraw is $100.00 winnings on the free $50.00 chip with a 20X rollover or something. Has anyone opened an account at that place with that chip and if so do you have to make a cash deposit in order to get the free chip. I guess I could go back and read the email that it came with but that would be to easy lol. Nizm: Ok I read your post in haste. I guess you can reset your password from their website and it is actually encoded or something so that everybody in Central America does not have it. I'll try that. I just went over to Bph and the feed is a slow as I have ever seen it. If your into practicing or like pondering your decisions you'll love it there. They just went to reset their server at 10 minutes before midnight EST so hopefully when they come back it will pick up a little. Yesterday I dropped in on Bph and thought their minimum was $50.00 and $500,00 so I checked on roulette. It is $10.00 minimum and $300.00 maximum so I played three "shoes". I fake it and if the trend is all over the place I stop at hand #70. If I am on a run I will go past #70 until the trend ends into the next scorecard. I was insuring every hand on the split 0/00 so that I would not get burned on those. The first shoe was a mess chop city but had a few green hits that helped. I made some mistakes as I was just winging it but ended up a few bucks to the good (not much). The next to "shoes" were streakers RD-H all the way I think and would have payed well except that their were only 5 green hits so my "commission" was high like $77.00 bucks on one and about the same on the other. I still made slightly over a hundred on the two good shoes after vigorish playing nickels with a 23456. I hit the 6 unit bet 3 or 4 times. It is slightly slower than baccarat there and I don't like playing 0/00 wheels because of the extra vigorish if green doesn't hit occassionally on the 3 or 4 dollar insurance bets. I was in fun mode and it was an interesting test. If they had a french wheel I might try it for real $. However on a small test Maverick held up well on the live wheel. I wonder ? I tied this once in the casino on a 0/00 wheel in the early 90's with one of Ellis' chop systems but the bets got a little high and I did'nt like insuring the 0/00. Once I got back to even I bailed and went back to bac. Anyone else give the wheel a shot with Maverick or ADOT or any of the newer systems? P.S. I've tried playing all even money bets on three cards on an RNG in the past with not so good results. I can't remember what system I was using. I beleive I played at Bodog RNG wheel.
  23. On so many levels, how do you figure Bph ? When I signed up there originally last year used a default cheesy password that I use (easy to remember) if it is a usual no money situation or anything I would not worry about if someone hi-jacked it. It took me a while to warm up to Bph I guess because of the big cards and the exaggerated presentation by the dealers looked so fakey. Anyway, after I warmed up to the idea and made a small deposit I asked on phone about changing my password and the representative said sure let me have it. I thought that was a little weird as I was thinking my password would be input online and known only to me. As it was I made a deposit with moneygram and the reciever was somebody in Nicaragua. Everything went smoothly and the money was in my account in less then a hour I believe. Can you change your password there so that only you know it (as entering it online) or do you have to tell the rep on the phone, or can you enter it in chat mode so that everyone in Costa Rica and the surrounding countryside do not have your password ? Maybe I missed something there. I mean what's the point of changing the password if you are verbally telling the representative. Can anyone enlighten me on this ?
  24. I am seeing more shoes where anti betting and more 4 0pposites (counted correctly) are switching the strong side every 10 hands or so. They are ironing out BP disparity in the process. No doublt their occasional wash and goofy shuffle procedures are contributing to this. The way they load the shoe with the picks almost makes me think they are weary of some kind of shuffle tracking. If by hand 7 or 8 of the shoe it looks more OTB4L I start in with SKOR/KS. Yeah it is close to betting TB4L VS. OTB4L but I see the shoe really well from that progression. If the shoe is presenting longer straight runs I move right to Maverick same if it is mostly Anti betting. If it is jumping around from short opposites to short repeats I will hang with skor /ks until F/x takes over. I prefer to stick with Maverick if the progression isn't losing to many bets in a row though. KS loves to flat bet prefers OTB4L favorable shoes but picks off TB4L with low risk usually snagging 4 or 5 units per column when conditions are good for it. I think they are profiling winning players. I'm throwing in as many monkey wrenches as I can. Update: The last shoe before the midnight server reset thing on T-4 was classic of the shoes the new shuffle produces at times. Far more 2's 24 SAP in this case. Playing KS/kMav in these things with conservative betting 1, 1.5, or 1,2 made 14 units on that just watching for the game to change every ten plays. playing closer to OTB4L in sections with out straight runs works good. I only needed 1 chip to gross 14 flat betting mostly. Keep an eye on OT to TBL switches and refuse to lose the switch bet, betting down only if it looks like it may run. I'll post this shoe tommrow in M&M bell just rang. Update: lot ot OTB4L in there... don't beieve I have ever seen that many 4 in a rows in a session in a long time. But it was ok session with little tweaking here and there.
  25. Just papered played one shoe on the $50.00 table. T1 & 4 are closed at the moment. The fifty dollar table went well and I clocked +20 , but moved over to the only other table open (dimes), and was going to play but decided to watch and it ended abruptly at hand #40. Draw your own conclusions there. Update: The dealer waited for the other girls (pit?) to come over and put in the cut card. Looked like she cut off 2 to 3 decks to these tired eyes. Their lucky they have a monopoly on the American players or I think many would take their action elsewhere Update Part Deau: It occured to me this morning that perhaps this short shoeing or various shuffle procedural changes may not necessarly be at random because they can see who is online at any given time. Think about it. Even if they cannot stop it they may try to slow the bleeding when player #1234321 is at the table for instance. I would think the last thing that an online or B&M casino would want to do is get a reputation for not welcoming all action. From my experience most better casinos don't sweat the action as they believe (rightfully so in most cases) that they will get it back plus in the long run. Maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg of an attempt at virtual hassling of advantage players. Update Part III: One other dime shoe ended at a record hand #38 last night that I was playing. If they keep this up I may have to adjust my play to unknown shoes (unseen cut card) such as looking to strike early or early lock up if I don't know where the cut card is. I don't think it will adversely effect most of our players but I would be surprised if they do not raise the ire of many others that just want to play a regulation shoe. Look at Dublinbet. Still going strong after all these years.
