  1. Hey, you must be the Good Witch Glenda...

I think Ellis and general Forum discussions have provided many good examples of how/ when to start placing actual wagers in a shoe...

Since I am playing this in concert with NOR, I generally wait a few hands before starting to bet...pretty much every shoe will " look like" S40, OTBL or F-type within the first couple of hands...

As stated earlier, by keeping these counts for the 6 variables, I believe they are more useful to me as a guideline for when the shoe is " switching" from one bias to the next, so I may deviate off of the NOR method I have been using more confidently...

Try it with one of your actual shoes, picked at random

See if it helps you " spot" where the EXPLOIT opportunities are, and might it have helped you improve your score? Like Ellis said, few shoes are EXPLOITATION materiel from start to finish.

But, if you pay close attention to the shifting numerical disparity values P/B , O/R and OTBL/TBL I am confident you will " notice" that virtually all shoes have at least one part of the shoe where a shift is taking place, and you will soon see how to capitalize on that .

Really not much extra work at all!

The P/B count is on the tote Board...

You are already noting the O/R count movement.

Just add OTBL/ TBL count to your card, and I really think you' ll be surprised how much using all 3 " disparities" will help you with making best possible decisions to identify particular bets to EXPLOIT, and by default, this helps me with managing my bankroll.

After practicing a bit, you'll be surprised how easy it is to look back 10-15-20 decisions to see if any shifts are taking place, and decide whether to react or not to them...

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Kachatz for your clear explanation. Zap zap!!!

  2. Hi BacPlayer,

Welcome to the forum. Here's the answers to your questions.

    a) Is there an OR count which determines its a type of shoe.

For Ex: On what negative count should i play the S40 system. When should i stop if the OR count moves towards 0?

Later in the same shoe if the count goes positive should i be shifting to the F system or quit the shoe?

You are getting it wrong. A + OR count suggest S40, a - OR count suggest that you can play F. An OR count hovering 0 suggest OTB4L.

    B) When using progressions (123 4) if i lose/win a 3 bet what should be my next bet?

If you are winning, and won your 3rd bet (3units) you will go back to 1 unit. If you are losing and lost your 3rd bet (total lose 123-6 units) you should quit if your score is -6. Cos if you bet the 4 units and lose it will go past the stop loss of -8. If you are winning, you can bet the 4 units.

    c) What are these SAP systems? Is it something i should be learning as well?

SAP is a count of events happening in a shoe. For a start i think you do not have to learn it.

    d) Where do i get the sample 6 shoes mentioned in the manuals for practice?

You can download the 6 shoes here in post #1

    Hope this helps.

  3. Hi Hotcooler,

Welcome to the private forum. For the shoe that you had described, i wouldn't wait till 15 plays then start. You would have missed the good part and the shoe might be changing to another trend.

As the manual says you can divide a shoe into 3 sections (20 plays per column) and you will see that each part may be a different trend (so you can use 1 of the NOR system in that section). For pre-shuffled cards we are at a disadvantage and hardly get very bias shoes unless you are lucky.

So for me i will play portion of the shoe with a certain NOR system and get out with a small profit. Hope this helps.

  4. Wow Kachatz thanks a million for your generous sharing!!! I can understand how you look at the shoe. I think using disparity and also the various counts will help greatly in a shoe like this. For me playing in Singapore with preshuffled cards, I tend to meet shoes that changes very often. That being the reason of why I am considering switching systems halfway through the shoe in order to win some units. NOR still works but that is unless I meet a very bias shoe. If that don't come by often enough, I find it difficult to make even 5 units per shoe.

I tried to find the post on disparity as you mentioned from the 2009 posts but can't seem to see any. Can you provide the link to the thread if possible? I will play out your shoe and see how you look at it play by play. Vertical or horizontal does not matter. The importance is analyzing how the shoe is going to turn out that enable us to make the correct bet selection and win!

  5. Boys and Girls:

Pay attention...this WILL NOT be Ellis' last hurrah!

Already added a NOR segment on to BJ seminar in Vegas...

Already have an NOR seminar planned for LA later same month, albeit with a mystery teacher we are about to get intoduced to by the Keith-ster!

Why do you think all the new shows are about vampires?

    (BCUZ they smell blood!)

Ellis is in. As in All-IN!

    Just like on TV!

Now, we have to get him that FC upgrade trip to Singapore...

    Witchy, where are you?

Hah I'm still here! Just happen to see my name mentioned! I'm still looking into the legalities part so it may take a while. Of cos it will be great to meet Ellis in person as well as senior members from the states in Singapore!

  6. Witchy, I see no mistakes in either case. If I'm not mistaken Jerry is merely transposing the shoe by putting all the opposite circles on one side and all the repeat circles on the other side so that both progs can simply be bet straight down. This is clever and avoids color coding but it makes for a lot of additional work. I prefor that everyone do it the same way and just chart the shoe the same way as always and then color code the opposite prog red and the repeat prog blue like you did. You don't need to put in those bet columns. I'm sure that everyone can add and subtract proficiently in their head when only dealing with the numbers 0123.

BTW, I'm replying on your thread but I see no notifications of my replies. I'll check with Keith on that as well as Jerry's inability to post on your thread at all.

Oh Ellis i see it now! Thanks for pointing it out.

Looking forward to your explanation on the play by play at the other thread soon.

  7. Hi Jerry,

Sorry for my mistake. Can you share with me how you play it? I just don't understand why your result on the right column is totally different from the shoe on the left?

Example from hand 17 to 23, the shoe has a choppy zz result but your playing result is a streaky straight run of 7 in a row? That's totally different result already. That is same for the entire shoe. Hah to me it's like i'm looking at 2 different shoes. I also couldn't get the result like yours no matter how i try to figure it out.

  8. Hi Jerry,

I think you have mistaken. I am playing opposites vs repeats with an interchanging progression with red and blue pen. Example If the result is an opposite, the next hand will follow the winning color.

You are playing it P vs B with a straight down progression on individual player and banker side. For your play we do not need to have 2 color pen.

If you look at it carefully, you are actually playing S40 with a 121 progression and staying at mode 2 all the way.

For my play opposites vs repeats, it will be playing OTB4L with a 121 progression and also using mode 2.

I think net betting is nothing fanciful as it is only S40 and OTB4L with a mild 121 progression betting every hand. For TBL vs OTB4L and ADOT are also similar. So guys do you think you still wanna pay extra to learn what is already available in the forum? Lol ^_^
