Hi everyone,

I am from sunny Singapore. Just purchased NOR and looking forward to try it out!

Maybe the Singapore players can check in here and share their experiences with NOR?

Cheers

James

Welcome to the group James. Like I tell all new members, things are a little confusing the first few days. There is a quick learning curve while you get familiar with our Bac lingo and forum navigation. But it only lasts a few days. Hang in there.

I swear I never study anything with so much effort ever since I left school 20 odd years ago.. I think my head just got 1 size bigger from reading the manual 3 times and trying to compile it into a summary which ends up being 9 pages long -.-

But, overall, I guess Its a learning curve we got to get over if we ever wanna succeed in this. And Yes, I am still confused, But At least I know I have 3 weapons in my arsenal that I can use. I just need to make sure I am using the right weapon at the right time. That's the rather confusing part still for me. but hey it's only day 2! :)

Suggest you take the time to read back through all the related threads right here on this forum re: S40, money management, F2F3 , OTBL, etc and it will really help...

Anyone have any specific threads they want to point out?

Then take some of your shoes and practice those concepts B4 your next visit to the money tree...er, I mean the casino!

Hi Spike,

I think the two of us are the newest here, its only day 3 for me.. Just wanted to share with you a exercise that I am going to do now. Its a slow process, but I think its the best way to learn. Btw, its suggested by Witchygal.

I brought 3 exercise books with square grids for this exercise. 1 book for S40, 1 for F and 1 for OBT4L.

Play the same shoe 3 times - Once using S40, once using F, and lastly using OBT4L (I'm using a iPad App - its free and rather accurate)

Keep doing this until you know the strength and weakness of each system.

I am just starting the 1st shoe, but I am already surprised by the results produced.

This is a very tedious exercise, but I think its a necessary one. Oh, I have the manual beside me just in case I am struck at a OTR bet situation.. :P

Hope this helps and of course read read and ask questions.

Cheers!

Welcome Raymond!

For a start you may be overwhelmed by the information here. I suggest you read the following threads to build the basic first.

The NOR Approach

http://www.beatthecasino.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6409

NOR Questions & Answers (old thread)

http://www.beatthecasino.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6393

NOR Sample Games

http://www.beatthecasino.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6665&page=2

Download the NOR Manual and read it.

Then read this thread on the NOR Manual questions

http://www.beatthecasino.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6658

Hope this helps. ^_^

Hi Raymond! Keith just called and notified me of your question. But witchygal beat me to it with a first rate answer. I couldn't have done better than that.

8 of the guys are currently conversing very heavily on the XDX thread. Stay away from that one for now. It is not for beginners and not for preshuffled cards which you will mostly be playing in Singapore.

Go through your NOR manual several times and also the sample games. DO NOT be afraid to ask questions. There is no such thing as a dumb question on this forum.

I'll shortly be posting an alternate way to do your NOR Modes designed especially to work well with the preshuffled cards you will be playing in Singapore.

Welcome to the group!
