I finally got the crux of Net Betting. However, Can anyone tell me when you Net Bet?

Do you Net Bet from the Beginning?

Do you Net Bet when you start to get in trouble?

If the shoe is telling you something, and Net Betting is telling you something else (If Possible), what trumps what?

As I am understanding this net bet stuff, you want to bet the bet selection methodology that is giving you the least variance. Least variance is where your bet selection methodology is about equal. For example, in 40 hands of play, Players = 19 and Bankers = 21 (a variance of 2) whereas Streaks = 4 and Chops = 12 (a variance of 8) so you would want to net bet your bet selection of least variance which in this case would be Player and Banker. In this case the shoe and bet betting are telling you the same thing.

Than you Steve,

Is that your strategy from the start? Does Net Betting trump the OR count? Does Net Betting and the OR count run similar to each other? Can it be used in conjunction with NOR or is it separate to itself?

See this is why I say we need to go back to the beginning.

What do you do before and after you get to a casino?

What do you look for? What do the tote boards tell you?

How do you get started the safest way? Doing what?

The tote boards offer a wealth of information IF you know what to look for.

All of this has been more than thoroughly discussed before but I think we need to take a freah look at it from the perspective of +5.

It is imperative that we win our first shoe because that sets the tone for the trip.

We always start our trip with a midshoe entry. It would be plain stupid to start a new shoe upon arrival at the casino. That would be giving up all our advantage. So the first question is which table do we choose and why?

I think we need to start a new forum devoted to the million dollar program which in turn requires averageing +5 or better.

Look, there was nothing wrong with the performance of the 4D. God knows it was tested enough. The problem with it is complexity. If you can't even get to your second shoe with your mind still in tact it does not serve our purpose. We can average +5 playing far more simply. That will be challenge enough for most here.

I've been completely snow bound here for a solid week now. Going nuts.

Getting back to McVince's questions:

We net bet when we have a low disparity (Something is running about even)

It can be PvB, OvR or OvT (OTB4L vs TB4L)

Recognize that all shoes have one or the other, either a low disparity or a strong bias. Some have both but none have neither becase it is lack of one that creates the other.

We SS bet a strong bias. We net bet a lack of bias.

Our best players therefore keep an OR and an OT count in all shoes. But all of this information is available on the tote board IF you know what to look for.

I'm sorry McVince but I've told you about all that I know. If you notice my post count, this in only the second message I've ever posted so I am still an extreme newby/rookie/beginner!

Hamster: Ellis did answer the question on 3/6/2014 on his post. Greg

How do I calculate the OT count?
