Interesting video from andrei

i love the concept that the strong side produces more multiples and the weak side produces more singles or 2s.

i think it should be the base for any successful approach.

IMO the approach above could be tweaked in this way:

a) starting a reset point when the strong side flow switches from a side to another

b) instead taking the row majority between P and B, as we’re interested on that side behavior, IMO it’s far more accurate a singles/multiples count for each side. it gives you a better picture of the flow. a mere PB count could be misleading, especially in case of long runs that effect the count, and successive singles or short multiples, thing that will lean you betting in a weak situation.

Interesting video focusing on the 1st and 2nd lines which are the most populated lines in the shoe.  This is covering the last 3 events on both sides.  That is the last 3 single events or multiple events, or a combination of both on each side. E.g. there may be 3 previous multiples on the player side combined with 3 single bankers or 2 single bankers and 1 multiple Banker. In this case the next single Banker would stimulate a player bet, and the next player result would stimulate another player bet (a second liner). So both these bets would be focusing on the strong side at that time.  There are a couple off rules mentioned in the video,  however, even without the rule of at least 2 ahead in the count to identify the strong side, this concept seems to have merit in betting on what you see the shoe is doing. This is similar in ways to Brad01 last 3 events method published on the members forum a few years back, however did not focus on Banker and Player separately.  As discussed in the members forum, biases tend to be short term, lasting maybe 8-12 hands before it changes, so this approach above may pick up a unit or two with the right focus on what the shoe is doing at that time.  The members forum has a lot more documented information that can assist with approaches such as the one above.

Focus is an important skill to have. Focussing on what the shoe is doing.  Being able to notice subtle changes that are happening in the shoe.  I have put 2 screenshots below from a discussion I had a couple of years ago with one of the professional players on the Premium players forum on BTC.  This is one of the advantages of joining the Premium Members forum. I hope they are legible.  16277467586207062005803692352948.jpg

In case the above is not ledgible I have transposed below. This is from 25/03/2018.

I notice you did not start betting until hand 10. Is this to give a better look at what the shoe is doing initially? The P221.... at the beginning can be enticing for OT betting,  but I have fallen into the trap a number of times where the above goes into a chop, or a steak of 4 or 5 down, costing me 1 or 2 units in the process.

Way2fast response:

I don't wait any fixed number of hands.  I try to start when the presentment of the shoe provides a good opportunity.  In this case, my first bet was on the third 2MC. I could have done that on the previous 2iar, but I think I chose to wait - or it is possible Kevin was talking to me and I missed an earlier entry? LOL.  In any case, I would not jump in at the 221, especially at the beginning of the shoe.  Look, if the shoe is going to go perfect OTBL right from the start, I will still do very well - don't need to be on it for the first event or two.  Patience is really a critical part to success in this game.  In this case I was patient at the beginning and did just fine playing the 2MC and 2LN opportunities I saw.

The really cool thing you might want to take note of is something that happens ALL THE TIME.  Look at those first 13 hands and notice the very nice OTBL pattern.  Also note what is happening on each side (always be in touch with what is happening on each side).  Hand 15 was my first lost bet and it was telling - FIRST one on the Banker side.  Note that at the same time (hand 17) was the first player event>2.  So OTBL changed at once at this point - and it was indicated on both sides at the same time.  Right at this point the player should recognise the shoe presentment has or is about to change, and should be immediately thinking it could go SS (strong side) player with another single Banker or two.  See how an observant player can begin to anticipate and be ready to capitalise on the type of changes that occur in virtually every shoe.  You don't want to be banging out OTBL right into an SS opportunity.  A mechanical teacher would tell you just to bet OTBL with some kind of crazy projection that 'plows' through those changes.  Yeah, it would work out through some of this (until the 7iar player).  But I would advise you it is MUCH safer AND MORE PROFITABLE to flat bet or use a mild up as you win progression with a bet selection approach more in tune with what is actually happening in the shoe.  That OT player would be no where near the 23 units, and would have missed an amazing opportunity.  Master this and you will master FTS (Follow the shoe).

It’s kind of hard to ‘ teach FOCUS’

-      At an early age, I remember my father trying to “ teach” good behavior , with a belt ( p.s.he never beat us!)

            - Later on, all he had to do was make a motion towards taking his-belt-off, and we were all goody2shoes next 30 minutes…

-     Later on, college intervened, and I learned how to separate things that were “ tension-relieving”, from “ goal-achieving”

-    Then came the hard part.  I HAD TO TEACH OTHERS. OR, more aptly, I had to instruct them in the finer points…

          - you’d have to ask others ,but some might consider me a lousy-teacher…

( Just what are ‘ the finer points’ , anyways?)

                                     - and who says so?

Well , either way, I had to do it.

Same as with Baccarat.

Likely many of you know more than me. Or, not?

                     - my objective is merely…   To show you “a way “,

                                              (     not” the only way “   )

Best way to success, is you carve your own path.
Something you believe in.
Something you can follow.

Otherwise, thinking you have no chance…

BECAUSE IF YOU CANT BELIVE IN YOURSELF, WHO YOU GOING TO BELIEVE IN?

Very well said!  And I for one would be in the camp that says you're an excellent teacher/instructor/mentor.  That's because it's obvious you care about helping us find our path.

Your words of wisdom don't fall on deaf ears.  I agree, you have to believe in yourself above all else!

You have always been a good teacher Kevin because the passion is there, and more importantly the passion is there to help others.  You can't get much better than that.  'Focus' is an interesting word.  Have you ever noticed that 4 letter words have very intense meanings, such as love, hate, good etc.  Back to FOCUS.  Most people focus on winning - that's good and nothing wrong with that, as that's why I'm playing this game. However with players whether new or seasoned, this turns very quickly into a different focus - SHORT TERM RESULTS.  If these are positive then all is good, but once that other '4 letter word hits the fan' and the results turn negative through variance, then that self belief and self confidence can fall apart quickly.  In the book 'Mindset for Baccarat' Chapter 8 by Wolfat (available for free to read on the members forum) the discussion centres around 'stable confidence' quoting here: '........ When confidence is completely tired to results, there is no way to avoid riding the confidence roller-coaster. The best way to stop these emotional swings and develop 'stable confidence' is by learning a set of skills and resolving the underlying flaws in your confidence.'  Flaws may be considered to be areas such as Anxiety, Fear, Greed etc.  If you can apply the principles outlined in this small book, combined with a skill set of which there are many at BTC, then you will start to see how intense that 4 letter word 'FOCUS' can be.  Believing in yourself as Kevin mentioned will rise to a different level.

HeyHB-

I got lucky.

Met up with Andrea/ Wolfat in Macau @ IBS1…2019. this after many years of communication via email, etc…

     - We got to play together quite a bit, and nothing I could say would adequately explain just how good he is playing the game. Really hard to explain what “ playing good” means, but

-Patience

 - Discipline

   - Knowledge of many ways to play

( just a few of them)

And perhaps the greatest of all?
( he wrote it all down, he kept track of everything.  )

I mean e.v.e.r.y.t.h.I.n.g.

We played for hours together…whether table, or 8 games Stadium @MGM, and he was all over it…

I didn’t think any other BAC  player ( could’a, would’a, should’a,  Even might’a ) done this, but in Macau he was all best-foot-forward

So he tries to help you understand this, do that ( best you listen)

Hey HB

Anybody ever plays with me, they know I mean business.

Don't like losing, as many have observed me doing…but when I do, I get-up and move along …try to find a more friendly game…whether in that casino, or another.

I have long given-up on the idea that ‘any game can be beaten’, and instead turned my focus to the 65-75% that can…even at that level , About 50% of THOSE GAMES fall right into 5D, and the other half I have to call upon any number or things I know how to win ( like the 10 best bets) . That other 25-35% ? Get out while you can…some games just cannot be beaten, and if you ‘ keep your powder dry ‘ , you’ll be a consistent winner over time…

   -    (oh yeah, the part about “keeping your powder dry” comes from a fondness for Western/Cowboy-Indian movies…pretty much seen most of them !)

         - And yes, those movies were indeed about Baccarat…

Thanks for sharing this Hellboy.  That dude offers good advice.

My pleasure mate. The comments from way2fast were always professional and backed by experience and results. Way2fast did a video on the 'Masterclass Series' a few years ago on BTC.  Wolfat and others also did  'Masterclass Series' videos on BTC. They were all an insight in how a master baccarat player thinks and plays. Priceless.
