Merry Christmas to all and to all many winning shoes for the new year.

Hi guys,
Like your views on the importance of having capital...employing NOR especially for newbies
The reason I asked is most of us playing bac may not even has 100k or even 10k as bankroll and wondered if this will be a drawback to overcome the learning curve:confused:
pipecub
You don't need any money whatsoever to learn, the worst thing you could do is play for real money in the casino or online until you learn.
When you say 100k I assume you're saying $100,000 ? After you learn the game and how to play you don't need anywhere near this amount as your starting bankroll.
Where are you from?

Hi NormA
thank you for your reply.
I was observing two of the roulette wheels last night at the local casino for 3 hours. during the 3 hours period the black/red was between 60% to 65% black against 40 to 35% red.
during that 3 hours If I had betted on a martingale system (with a 10 dollars starting bet) I would have won at least 30 units. As I was really frustrated from a previous game of baccarat which wiped me out I was just sitting having a drink and looking at the wheel. for 3 consecutive hours the table was like that until I left.
that;s why I thought if I observe the wheel again and if one colour is leading for a period of time (1/2 to an hour) then with the martingale system (starting unit $10) with betting pattern of B B R or R R B depending on which colour has been leading for the past hour with the stop loss of $10/20/40/80/160 (last night red never went past three consecutive occurrence) it might give me a chance (although it will be painful and slow) to recover bit by bit over 5 hour sessions.
Don't really know how practical that is.
Look I am not looking for free advise here either but I wish I could see the NOR in real life. I am very confused and scared.
Sam
Did you read the thread "Young Dave 43" by Ellis? If not you should do so.
The martingale System is the very worst thing you could do, it is something you should really be scared of.
What you described in your observation would have been a very good session to play if you know how to play properly, what you described is a perfect strong side situation (hi disparity) and there is a very specific way of playing this type of situation.
Once again this is just one of the things you would learn in the private forum, also once again I have no financial interest in BTC nor do I get any compensation from them in any way.
My strong advice to you would be to stay out of the casino and save the money that you would normally lose until you have enough join in the private forum.
The one thing that I can guarantee you is that you will never be sorry if and when you do,it will illuminate all your confusion and there will no longer be a reason to be scared.
Just so you know I was in your shoes at one time also. I wasn't born a natural roulette or baccarat player it takes many years to learn.
I wish you luck and whatever your decision is I hope it works out for you, there is an old saying "you could lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"
-
Hi Ellis
To be honest with you I have lost faith in baccarat.
They say it has the lowest house edge but It seems that i can't even have one profitable session no matter how hard I try.
I was thinking maybe roullette with smaller betting system would be much better.
Hi Sam, I can't help but asking what similar betting system are you referring to ?
At darwin casino there are usually only two baccarat tables operating. One with a min of 50 and the other min of 100.
The shoes are extremely choppy.
In most cases and extremely choppy shoe is the best type of shoe you can get if you know how to play it.
I tried single, double, triple system (which says singles are double the amount of doubles and doubles are twice as much as triples) but for the past month very few shoes have had the balance.
There is no such thing as a single, double, triple system. I get the impression you have been reading some of the information on the public forum,
The information on the public forum is not going to teach you how to play a choppy shoe or any other type of shoe.
Thats why i was thinking of switching to Roullete because of very limited table selection here.
Do you have a proven strategy for roullete which i Can purchase??
I have been playing roulette for over 40 years and I can tell you there is no such thing as a system or strategy for winning roulette. There is literally thousands of roulette systems on the Internet from free to thousands of dollars and none of them work.
There is a way of playing roulette the same way you would play baccarat, but you must first learn how to play baccarat well.
The only way to learn how to play baccarat correctly is to join the private forum and get the manuals, but that's only half the battle it takes a lot of practice, practice, practice and it won't happen overnight.
Thanks in advance
I hope this helps answer some of your questions I am not trying to sell you or convince you to join the private forum I gain nothing from doing that I am only trying to point you in the right direction.

I haven't seen any reports in a while so i thought i would post my latest. These shoes are from Gold Strike Tunica. I played all shoes with the 2Hi + progression (1,2 loop) and i am seriously thinking about making this my base progression for baccarat.
shoe 1
B22422134
P2212411121111
B11121132221111
B112121213
This was my first shoe of the day as well as my first time playing 2Hi+ so i was a little nervous but once i hit +16 units before i even hit the second column i was sold on 2Hi+ and decided to use it the rest of the day.
godsend, I am a little confused with your description of play, if I am reading this correctly you started at hand 11, and you say you hit +16 before even hitting the second column (which I assume would be before hitting hand 20) my confusion is how did you get a +16 from hand 11 through hand 19 or 20.
As a suggestion only in order to avoid confusion it might be better to describe your play by hand number rather than columns. Some of the newer members don't even understand what columns are and some of the older members use two column scorecards (1-40) rather than four column scorecards.
When i first arrived at the table they were already 10 hands in so i caught up on my scorecard and jumped in with otb4l which lasted me until the end of the 2nd column. At that point i noted that the O/R count had gone from -8 at play 31 to -1 at play 40 so i decide to switch to s40 m3 which lasted the rest of the shoe without going on the run.
All in all i ended this shoe with +25 units
shoe 2
P32213112212
P15211212212
P11145212111
P2512
this shoe was a little bit more difficult for me. I started in otb4l which was great for the first 2 columns i had i game high of +19 units at play 38 but at the start of the 3rd column things went kinda sour. i ended up quitting at play 64 with +10 units
shoe 3
B23222324
P(11)1112211
P11113122
this was a special shoe for me because i have never seen a 15iar before. I started in otb4l which lasted me until play 25 when i noticed that player had won the last 9iar so i decided to switch to f3 and i am glad i did. F3 lasted the rest of the shoe where i quit at play 51 with +29 units
thanks for reading guys

Hi,
I just wanted to thank you for sharing this with us and for clearing up any confusion!
Thanks! Much Appreciated!
Jim
You're very welcome.
-
It has been brought to my attention that calling this a 2Hi progression might be confusing as it is not the same as the old original 2Hi or 3Hi progression.
This is my modification an update to the original 2Hi progression.
Therefore in the future I will refer to this as 2Hi+ in order to distinguish the difference.
-
Hey norm,do you feel that in bac bad shoes stay bad?thanks
Not necessarily I have seen bad shoes get good and I've seen good shoes get bad.
There is no consistency to this.
-
I have got several PMs with questions on the 12,12 loop or 2Hi+ progression.
In order to try an clear up some of the confusion I have change the wording as follows.
For shoe start never make a 2 unit bet until you win a 1 Unit bet.
After you win your first 1 unit bet, your next bet will be for 2 units then 1 unit, you keep betting 12121 whether you win or lose.EXCEPT,
With the exception, when you lose two bets in a row (1,2 or 21) you start flat betting with 1 unit till you win, after that win you continue with the 1212 Prog.
IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A ZZ RUN AND ARE WRONG FOOTED, START FLAT BETTING TILL THE ZZ RUN ENDS OR GO ON THE ZZ RUN.
You never make a 3 unit bet.
Never make a 2 unit bet if your score is -2 or more, flat bet till you get your score up to at least a 0 or -1.
If you lose 3 bets in a row stop and wait till you have 1 or 2 paper wins or you see a good signal to start betting again.
If you lose 2 bets after getting back in it is probably time to quit the shoe and find another one.
I very seldom lose more then 4 or 5 units in a shoe, that is my stop loss.
Note: if the shoe is exceptionally good and your score is high you could increase your Prog. to a 2323 Prog. (3Hi+)
I hope this cleared up some the confusion.

YEs you can place it on the About ME in your profile
Here is mine
K
Just as a side note you do not have to put everything about yourself as Keith did, I can understand why some people would not, but at least just to know where you are from would be nice.
-
Yes big cash we do need a where you at thread so we can meet up others...
It would also be nice if members would say where they are from in their profile.

It's not bad dealers make more mistakes along with card and computer errors.
I don't understand your point ,this is a live dealer game.

The enemy is the casino!
Sorry Ellis with all due respect I can’t agree with you, in my opinion casino is not the enemy,
no more than someone’s employer is the enemy.
When I walk into a casino I don’t walk in with a chip on my shoulder with the attitude that I’m here to fight the enemy I walk in with a positive attitude saying okay how much are you guys going to give you today,
then I start doing the job that I learned an practiced for many years, same as an employee would do for his employer.
With all that said I know the day will come that the casino will be my enemy,
and that day will be the day when I get barred, which I know is not for off.
That will also be the day that I will share an publish my method of playing baccarat and roulette to the world
and teach as many people as I can (FOR FREE) with the hope that they will take as much as they can from the bastards.
-
One other thing I am considering trying is to just flat bet the table minimum on the same side as the majority of players,
or the second best player at the table(you being the first best) until the nature of the table becomes clearer.
No need to, save your money just another crap shoot, stick with your system and wait for the right opportunity.
I have said it a 1,000 times, "when in doubt wait it out" be patient. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Not there, so can't compare.
Wondering you bet $25 each side? Will they let you " roll it" ?
Most casinos will do this, as at least they pick up the commish on Banker Wins...
This doesn't work, I have another idea for you...
The Grand Casino in Biloxi will not let you roll, when I go to the Grand I go with a friend he plays banker I play player and this is how we roll. We split the commissions.
At one time the hard rock Casino in Florida would not let you roll but the last I heard, now they are letting you roll.
It seems pretty dumb and stupid that casino would not let you roll when they can make money on commissions otherwise if no one else is at the table they are making nothing, go figure.
As for shoe start in my opinion you need history before starting to bet regardless what system you are using.
You are not going to get any good history that tells you anything in the first 4or5 hands, personally I don't start betting till about the 15th or 20th hand with some good strong history, (in most cases, there are some exceptions) even then if I don't get any good triggers or see something worth betting on I will continue wait.
Take a look and review all your previous score cards, I think you will find that the majority of the time the losses are in the beginning of the shoe, starting to bet too early without some history is nothing but a crap shot.

Thanks NormA,
I hear ya - and yes I was up for that shoe.
But what happens when the OR count shifts early on? I'm still a bit concerned as to what the OR ranges are for implementing the S40, F or OTB4L since there seems to be a bit of overlap in the sample shoes - especially the OTB4L.
Unfortunately for me, I rarely have the good fortune to sit in mid-shoe to see the history of the way the current shoe is progressing since once a game is started all the seats are filled forcing me to start at a new table / shoe.
Any pointers you can give me?
Glenn
Sorry Glenn I can't help you with that as I don't use an OR count or any other count, except SAP when I play, so I don't have clue.

Hi All,
I just finished a shoe at the Sands in PA and need help with a few questions.
1. First off, the shoe started out as a nice F shoe and went progressively negative to minus 8 and hovered between -4 and -8. Then towards the end of the shoe it started going more positive into the -2 to +2 range (OTB4L). At what point do you switch modes since if I stayed in F all profit would have been given back?
2. Is there a general rule of thumb at the beginning of a shoe on what minimum OR count should hit before selecting a System to play?
The S40 sample shoe starts right out going positive and climbs steadily to +5; the F sample shoe starts out negative and progresses steadily more negative to -12 in the first column; and the OTB4L sample shoe starts a nice bounce between -1 to +1 confirming its play then get into a steady +5 or so mid-shoe which would indicate swithing to S40, correct?
Glenn
Glenn
If you are near the end of the shoe and have a profit and the shoes starts to change QUIT.
At that point don't be concerned as to what system to switch to.
Take your profit and find another table or wait for a new shoe, there is no need to play till the end of the shoe.

When you get a lot TT it is like getting a shoe from heaven, even if there a few 3 now and then.
I don't know what M2 or M3 is and yes OT is the only way to play a shoe like this.
I use the 12,12, loop Prog.
BTW some things are better said and asked and talked about in the private forum, if you get my reason and drift.
-
good idea
Would OTB4L M2 be the right method to kill shoes with a ton of TTs?

The Palazzo just introduced a brand new way to play Baccarat with a Live dealer that they are calling Stadium Gaming. Seems similiar to online live dealer play, but on the casino floor. See the link below for the story that appeared at Vegas Chatter. Thought everyone might be interested.
http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2013/11/25/114510/57/vegas-travel/Bigger+Is+Better%2C+Right%3F
This is not new for some parts of the world, Singapore has had this for sometime now and Hong Kong also.
You better be fast at keeping up your scorecard and making your decision because this is a timed fast game.
