  1. The attached file contains 60 shoes that I played in Vegas at three different casinos, the week of May 6, 2013 for you to practice with.

You should be able to print the scorecard.

The scorecard has an OT count as that is what I use when I play (not OR count)

there are four blank columns so that you could enter whatever count you want including the SAP count.

All the shoes were played on a MIDI table, (touch) vs MINI (no touch) with pre shuffled cards.

It is interesting to note that 20 shoes were obvious OTB shoes and 24 shoes were obvious F shoes,

The remaining 16 shoes were about 50% OTB and 50% F

(sometimes the first half of the shoe would be OTB and the second half be F or the other way around,

and sometimes it will alternate throughout the shoe (witch is the worst situation you could have)

Some of the shoes are only about 40 or fewer hands as I might have gotten out with my stop win or loss,

or the best hooker in the casino was available at that time.

Roulette was my first love and I played it for 30 years and did very well with it up to about 10 years ago

when the casinos starting using the new type of wheel you see today

and it got harder & harder to find a single “0†wheel with out a $100 to $500 min bet (as I will never play on a double“0†wheel).

This changed the way I would play and win, (but that is a whole other story). That is when I started playing Bac.

I also played 20 shoes or sessions on this trip of 40 to 80 spins for each session on Roulette (single “0â€)

BTW I play the high/ low using the same method that I use with Bac.

An extremely interesting observation was made and that is, the ratio of OTB, F and the 50% shoes were almost the same as with Bac.

What makes this so interesting is that the Roulette wheel is probably the best RNG you could ever have.

IMO this tells me that the pre shuffled cards are about as random as the Roulette wheel outcome.

I have about 40 more Roulette shoes from past trips, as soon as I find some time I will compile them in the same format as theses 20 shoes

to prove or disprove this theory further.

I will post the 20 Roulette shoes as soon as I can.

  2. What's next continues shuffle, no more 8 decks to a shoe, then we wont have to worry about pre shuffle shoes, or casino orchestration or red /blue cards or table selection, etc, etc.

Holy shit Ellis what do we do now. LOL

Just thinking about it instead of having Keno girls running around selling Keno cards we could have Bac girls selling Bac cards ( just fill out an 80 hand card for B or P or T and check to see if you later)

  3. All,

Well, maybe not right away, but it's coming, bet on it.

Stadium type table games are basically a live dealer and a "stadium" of live betting terminals.

Think of it as a lot like those 8 station roulette machines you may see, but with "extra" seats.

How many? Well, there are currently 4000 or so stadium seats available in Macau and they are forecasting upwards of 6000 available player stations in the next 5 years.

Why "stadium" type of roulette, baccarat, sic-bo? Look to the MONEY, of course! At a normal 7 station baccarat table, you get 7 players against one shoe. At a stadium type of live baccarat tabel, you can have 50 players all on the same live shoe! It's a no brainer for the casino.

All that and the dealer's no longer have to handle any of the money as it's all done right at your personal terminal.

So, if you've been wondering what the direction of table games are, simply look to Macau and it should be obvious.

paul, in shoe 3 you only have 19 hands on the first line ??

  5. "Got hit with"? That is a shoe from heaven, Kong.

First, if you decided to play NOR+ OTB4LM3 and you bet U1D1M2 what happens is you arrive at +39 at play 35 and you lose a 1 bet. I would quit right there with +38. Just as when my goal is 20 and I get to 19 and lose a 1, I quit at +18. I'm not superstitious but it is incredible how often a shoe goes to hell one unit shy of your goal.

    BUT!

Don't forget that NOR+ also includes S40 and you'll end up playing S40 about 35% of the time. Now unlike OTB4L, with S40 I always start in Mode 2 for the simple reason that there are ALWAYS 4iars in every shoe and you need Mode 2 to beat them. The beginning 5 ZZ is screaming S40 at you. It is a perfect S40M2 shoe. Played the normal U1D2 it scores an amazing +36! Played U1D1 M2 (mandatory 2) it scores +48.

Now, I told you that the 20+ iars have dissappeared from the face of the Earth because casinos lose their shirts to them. But I also told you that because casinos strongly favor OTB4L shoes that you will still see TT runs (PP BB PP) go 20 or more plays. Your's goes 25 plays! Now if that doesn't prove to you guys that casinos favor OTB4L, nothing ever will. When is the last time you saw a ST or ZZ run go 25 plays?

Oh, that reminds me, Norm, I think those guys were joshing you a little. The world record for a Bank run is 27.

Ellis, I must be missing something, could you please show me where there are 25 TT plays, I don't even see one TT (PP BB PP ) in this shoe or am I going crazy !!!!

  6. So, yesterday my wife is looking for a "special" beer to take to her next book club, which will be to discuss the book GONE GIRL ( based loosely on a bar in Iowa)

I " google" IOWA Beers, and I come up with Double Bastard...

Immediately gets me to thinking about how we generally play/comment/critique shoes posted by members AFTER THE FACT ( once they have been played), but this is kinda like blaming the referee of a sports contest for a " bad call" after you have seen it 5 times on InstantReplay..nobody can convince me they can look at this whole shoe transcription, and NOT be biased!

Such As...HOW WOULD YOU PLAY THIS SHOE?

    P1122333122

    P623411111

    B533351

    P11122211141 ( end of shoe)

Nothing Wrong with saying " how I would do this/ what I would have done, etc", and we need to continue to do this/interact over actual shoes...BUT, what if we could ( anyone wants to dial in) play shoes in " real time" mode, one hand at a time, just like they get played in your local gambling establishment

Maybe we have a monthly GoToMeeting conference call set up where NOR members interested could dial in and see/hear how our resident experts Ellis/Steve would play hands one at a time, just like we do in the casino? Sure, everyone wants to go to VEGAS, but we have many players from all over the world, or here in the USA just cannot make it...

Incorporate the latest NOR+ " tweaks" and able to answer member questions in " real time" for all to hear?

Use real shoes played in real casinos from around-the-world?

Get interaction from Singapore, Canda, Italy, etc. on the same conference call?

Likely, the BTC membership sales would go through the roof!!!

Anyone besides me interested in this?

During such a session, we don't comment on shoes being a " bastard" at all, they are just real live, real world playing conditions...Not some " bastard" shoe we just have to throw in the towel on...

Still ,use stop losses, still use betting progressions, still use exit points, but we play it just like we all face in the real casino environment...

( and if it matters to you, Keith has promised to wear a CocktailWaitress "dress up" outfit for the first session...just to make it REALLY, REALLY like the casino!..In future sessions, he will dress up/act like the PIT BOSS, or the DRUNK standing behind you at the table calling out " Player!!... Now Banker!" while you decide on your bet...)

Anyone think they would benefit from this?

Willing to pay a modest fee for the time/ trouble it would take to set up the calls?

Just thinking..we want to be THE BEATTHECASINO forum, we could improve and membership sales would fall right in step...

Talking about beer, ponder this one:

    Beer Logic

DIALOGUE BETWEEN A LADY INTERVIEWER WITH A MALE BEER DRINKER:

Lady Interviewer: Do you drink every day?

    Man: Yes.

Lady Interviewer: How much a day?

Man: Around 3 six-packs starting at noon.

Lady Interviewer: How much does a 6-pack cost?

Man: Roughly $10.00 at a deli.

Lady Interviewer: And how long have you been drinking like that?

    Man: 15 years.

Lady Interviewer: So with a six-pack costing $10.00, and you consuming 3

six-packs a day, you are spending roughly $900 each month. In one year, you

would then be spending $10,800, correct?

    Man: Correct.

Lady Interviewer: If in 1 year you spend $10,800 on beer, not accounting

for inflation, 15 years puts your spending roughly $162,000; correct?

    Man: Correct.

Lady Interviewer: Did it ever occur to you that if you did not drink for

the last 15 years, you could have bought a Ferrari?

    Man: Do you drink?

    Lady Interviewer: No.

Man: So where's your freakin' Ferrari?

    Hi katchatz1

I agree with you 1000% , anyone could win a shoe playing it after the fact.

Even if you cover up the next hand as you play the shoe at the kitchen table you are still influenced by seeing the shoe after the fact, and are tempted to peek at the next hand before you make a bet.

PJ and I have done this a few times over the phone and it has proven to make a big difference in the outcome.

There was one time he asked me to pick a shoe from my collection of shoes from my casino play. What I did was to use a shoe that he posted, I don't remember the scores bet he did very good on the shoe he posted.

But when he played it over the phone one hand at a time he lost the shoe in a bad way. I think he is still pissed of at me for doing that. It just proves the point that you can't play a shoe after the fact.

I think what you are proposing is a good idea, but I don't think it is doable for many reasons, one being that members are from all over the world and in different time zones.

The other being that it is very time consuming, It would be hard to get even one other player to participate as most members have family and other things to attend to, to get together at the same time would difficult at best.

BTW are you going to be in Vegas for the seminar ?

    NormA

  8. Way to go, Norm,

What time did you play and how were the conditions?

Crowded, smoky or just the normal semi-empty tables?

    MVS

Started playing at noon, my friend and I were the only ones at the table.

by 2pm the table started to get players and by 3pm the table was full and opened another table.

    I left at 3pm.

Hope to be back next week. Now that the weather is getting better I could fly down more often,

Nice small airport with good runways and good FBO

  10. Hi Norm! I have 500 shoes on score card listed by casino. Several Vegas casinos included. The problem is that they are old and do not conform to the higher incidence of OTB4L shoes that we see today. I'm sure the guys can produce some more modern shoes. In fact, there are already quite a few posted here somewhere. But if all else fails let me know and I'll make a copy for you and for anyone else if they will just cover my copy and shipping expense - I'm guessing around $40 at today's rates.

BTW, I took your advice and got a second opinion - from a renown fairly local podiatrist. Extremely sharp! He confirmed the worst, that I have an advanced stage of neuropathy that is unstoppable and incurable. But he also confirmed that I have, in addition, some blood flow issues in my left leg and the right treatment might get me walking again. I'm going to the hospital today for ateriogram testing to find out if I can be helped by stints or medication. Wish me luck.

I would strongly advise you to go see the DR. that I told you about in Gainsville Fl be for you have any procedure done.

This is all he does and is the best you could find.

  11. Hi to all my friends and members.

I have been out of the loop for some time now do to health problems.

I sold my house in Vegas and moved back to Fl.

I am trying to get back in the loop and up to speed.

I am in need of some practice shoes form LIVE casino play ( NOT RNG SHOES )

If you could please post as many shoes as possible on this thread it would be very much appreciated.

Other members would also have access to the shoes for practice.

They could be posted in any form (on a score card or the short cut way)

If possible please state what casino they were from.

    Thanks for your help

    NornA
