  2. Here was an interesting interview with Professional NBJ player John Tarrimino when he started as a Pro in 1991. It was a phone interview from a call that E. Clifton Davis made to him about his activities in Atlantic City. You can learn the same Professional tactics used by John still today. http://beatthecasino.com/audio/side1nbj.mp3 . 11. Under US rules the dealer gets both her up card and her down card, in turn, along with the initial deal and before its the First Base player's turn to play his hand. Under European rules, the dealer deals only her up card until all the players have played their hands. Then she deals herself her second card and plays her hand. There really isn't much difference but European rules have a disadvantage and an advantage over US rules. First the disadvantage: In clumped cards the players cannot get a good "read" on the dealer's hole card because it has not yet been dealt when they must make their play. So no hole card read is possible. The Advantage: However offsetting the disadvantage is the fact that under European rules the third base player has far more control over the dealer's hand and can use his position to break the dealer. For instance: Suppose the dealer's up card is a ten. The third base player does not want to feed her another ten so he wants to stop hitting when lows are running and "feed" her a low to make her stiff. But if she has a low up card the third base player wants to feed her tens. Another advantage is in first base play the last card of the prior round can fall anywhere and the First base player must keep track of it. But in European rules the last card in the prior round ALWAYS falls to the dealer and makes the first base player's decision more convenient. I've played both rules and I really can't say I prefer one over the other. The advantages and disadvantages are slight and wash out about even in my opinion.
  12. How does clumping fair when the casino is using auto card shufflers? Good question!! In my experience shuffling machines do not eliminate clumping, nstead they help preserve it. Recognize that casinos understand that if all cards were purely random, Basic Strategy enhanced with card counting alone would beat Blackjack. If shuffle machines truly randomized cards, therefore, the casinos would not use them. Casinos are not stupid. Clumping produces a huge casino advantage. This is far more important to the casino than the convenience of shuffle machines. You can see, follow, and take advantage of clumping even with the continuous type shuffle machines.
  13. Fred You should have the instruction in the private section. Each forum for each approach, RD 1 forum and F2 Rules. Are you an ongoing member. IF not let me know. KS
  14. Ellis you shouldn't have left so fast i got one shoe in tonight. It shows how you have to hang in there to match to the game. I started with 40, then RD1 and hit them with F2. They didn't have any Baccarat cards!! KS
  15. No they had 1 table. System 40 really killed the choppy game where we had the zig zag run.+47 is unheard of I am sure that is my biggest shoe win with a high bet of 5 or less.
  16. 4 more from today. We played System 40 , Rd1 and F2 over the course of the two days. We friking murdered the casino as you can see. Ok we had a 47 in one column game which was unbelievable! We're all tired and Elli sis going home tomorrow. We met some nice players, and dealers hopefully they will follow through and join us.
