  1. Thanks way2fast.....your two sentences you wrote....will save beginners, intermediates, and pros..........literally thousands of dollars, extreme head aches, frustration, and worst of all......losing, along with the positive aspects of making the most of a winning situation. "Preserving Capital" and being "Present at the Table"......."when you hit the sweet spot". EPIC....PROFOUND....PRICELESS It's difficult for me to be speechless......But right now I am totally speechless because of the IMPACT of what you wrote and shared. Thank you my friend.......thank you.
  2. Oh the lights may have just turned on.....(aka aha moment) Correct me if I am wrong please, with the "probe bets" that doesn't chase the losses, this is why you shared regarding not having a stop loss to be present when the "sweet spot bias" comes along?
  3. I hear ya Oz, perfectly clear regarding NEVER EVER lose 3iar. Also on the "probe bet" if it loses to 'WAIT" for the next possible opportunity. Great money management and bet selection that doesn't chase losses. We should write new lyrics to that song "because you know I'm all about that bass...no treble", by Meghan Trainor to "because you know I am all about that bias...no losing."
  4. way2fast I agree as even in the example shoe I found and posted on here, from hand 37 to 44 there are 7 losses and 1 win. Using the U1D2 M2, the shoe never got back to the +23 on hand 36. I would not use that negative progression to the extent that it is, and I understand it was used for "demonstration" purposes. While the example of the shoe I posted was for demonstration purposes, I do embrace the concepts of short term set ups.
  5. Absolutely thank you Oz for the sharing of your time, hard work, and expertise.
  6. Credit given to who earns it, is always a class act. Being human is impossible to always be a class act. For two of the most admired, respected, appreciated and I will even say beloved guys in these realms to be "dismissed", is incomprehensible. So like the beer commercial of the guy who says "always stay thirsty my friends"..... I would say......"always stay humble my friends", we have a lot to be grateful for.
  7. Can't help myself...... just had to add this........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDkN7kHfpmQ&list=PLP3lLf-nTwtGjOS7zgoWdvLH2Hsq_3op0&index=21
  8. Sounds like a baseball umpire, who can only see strikes and balls the way he sees them. Says the umpire...."if you don't like the way I call them, then you are OUTTA HERE". Hey ump, can we get a video reply of that?....."NO, and you are out of here also for doubting that I have the authority to do so."
  9. Regarding Sap, I would suggest speaking with wolfat. He has an excellent way of charting with Sap, that deals with the overall and CURRENT events, counts. Please understand he is in the process of moving. so try not to over load him with too much. Other than what Papa Joe shared in the Sap exploits, wolfat created something really extraordinary in my humble opinion. Good to "see" you again McVince.
  10. bake 5, you might want to also check out BetPhoenix.ag
  11. Excellent question BacPlayer. I have honestly not yet charted or played a factory shuffled shoe. There are many factory, machine and hand shuffled shoes on "stats for profit" which is a good tool to use on here. I have only played machine shuffled and hand shuffled. I can say regarding a hand shuffled shoe, that when there was a very streaky shoe, they would shuffle the shoe more times than they did previously to possibly "break up" the streaks. Each time I observed that happening, the next shoe was very choppy. I have seen that happen enough times to put it past the consideration of "it just happens". Then again, it can be viewed that after a streaky shoe, you will get a choppy shoe to balance out. But the one determining factor I have seen in the hand shuffled shoe, is the number of times more it is shuffled after a streaky shoe. I am in no way an expert on this subject, and I am going purely by what I have observed in this regard, and not by just one or two shoes that happened that way. However, I do agree with Pando, in the importance of being able to read a shoe and see it as clearly as possible, no matter what type shuffle the shoe is.
  12. Great advice Brad, and thanks for re-posting Oz's summary.
  13. Great post mjmtong. My favorite quote "lose but don't lose the lesson". Second favorite quote relating to what is being shared......"The magic happens when you are working at it."
  14. I agree with Pando. He kept emphasizing to me what he does. One of the best aspects he emphasized is to look for the type of shoe that you know you will win. It takes a lot of at home practice in learning to be able to identify the type of shoe you are looking for, with the strategy that you have chosen to use. I spent over 5 hours at my local casino yesterday, just charting shoes, hoping to find the type of shoe I was looking for. Finally the 5th shoe I saw was the type I had been looking for and won +10 units. It is worth waiting for, and not getting all stressed out over losing in trying to play every shoe there is. Patience is essential in waiting for the type of shoe you want. Thank you Pando, you taught me well.
  15. Awesome post XDotNet......the example of Michael Jordan is spot on. Every team in the NBA tried so many different approaches to shut him down. So he had to not just be a great athlete, he had to be very smart and adjust to what was being thrown at him. Same thing in what the casino will throw at us, we have to learn to adjust, each and every shoe.
  16. CT that sounds awfully close to "thinking like a shoe designer". Meaning they get you thinking one way, and then pull the rug out from under you the other way, as it was mentioned. Or in the case of the Panda and Dragon bets as you presented it......a possible distraction. Charting the shoes today, the thought kept re-occuring to me.....find the pattern before they pull the rug out underneath me. The only conclusion and remedy of solution I could think of, I give credit to way2fast........short term set ups.
  17. Thank you way2fast. It was my first actual in person encounter in seeing the super 6. One particular person caught my attention on those 3 bankers decisions that were a six. I was standing behind him, charting the shoe. He won on a 200.00 bet the first one, got paid 100.00. I heard him say, now I have to up my bet to gain back what I was supposed to get, so he upped his next bet to 300.00 and got 150.00, and he simply said, now he had to up it again to 550.00, he got 275.00. He then said, okay, I will up it again one last time, and bet 1,000.00 bet and lost. I didn't have the actual percentage of the disadvantage for a person playing the super 6. But I knew by the sickening feeling growing in my gut as I watched that guy, it was not good. Thank you for the expert percentage of advantage it gives the house.
  18. Went to Tampa Hard Rock today, and disappointed to find the "Super 6" for the first time in action. One shoe I saw 3 Super Six bankers in a row. High limit room next with touch cards and no super six. Another area in the casino, Super 6 again, and then found 1 table that was regular commission table. Charted 4 shoes, didn't see the type of shoe I was looking for. Finally, on the 5th shoe, I saw a shoe I was looking for, hit +11, lost one and cashed out with +10 units. Entered the shoes on stats for profit. A lot of construction work inside and outside the casino going on. Parking lot in the front is gone and they are building on it. So, the garage parking, which never did before, is charging everyone 10.00 per car. Easy to figure out they will use the parking charge for the costs of construction.
  19. As I consider myself an "active" member here, as well as a "student" of the game, I also want to give as much as I know to the community "members" at large here. I try to be aware of the needs, and wants of other members. Example, am I asking for too much help from certain members? Meaning, am I being selfish in thinking only of myself in taking up too much of their time and energy, when it only benefits myself. I am aware of that, because it has happened to me, in that there have been times, I have spent 3 and 4 days at a time in doing nothing for myself, and only doing what others need and want me to for them. Please understand I am not complaining. I am simply saying I have to check myself, that I am not taking up too much time and energy of others in what I need to learn. Like anything in life, a healthy balance of give and take is necessary. For example, consider the number of members here and imagine the possible numerous requests members like Oz, way2fast, get from others to help them. I must say I am guilty in that respect, in that I have contacted both with questions, requests, etc. Consider also, for those that get so many questions, requests etc, it can actually become a full time job and even more so for them, and no one is getting paid to do that. Am I suggesting someone should get paid for doing that....ABSOLUTELY NOT. It's great to have advanced players sharing and contributing and we need more. At the same time I am sensitive to the fact that in wanting and needing them to participate, it is possible to actually drive them away by wanting and needing too much from them. I love a great two way conversation. But I realize even that....at times, can be too demanding upon others. Please share your thoughts on this.....if....you have the time to do so.
  20. A friendly welcome to you Aznboik87. You are definitely in the right place to learn. For S40, in table selection, look for a choppy shoe. I honestly don't have any advice for tables to play Nor on. But I am sure others will help you with that.
  21. I can easily ask for one thing......for each active member.....to be able to meet at a time and place in person for at least 3-4 days. It blows my mind just to even think about it.
  22. lol I don't think it is arrogance, it more about wanting to be clear, but I enjoy the humor of how you said that. Having played a lot through the years, I certainly can see removing the limits in both regards, depending on the shoe(s), and also the skillset of the person. Due to work for a couple of years, even though I practiced occasionally, I didn't really progress forward, which I am working on doing in the last several months. I still work, but not as much as I did, and I hope soon that the daily work jobs will no longer be needed. Everything in life that is worthwhile is a process, and if a person is honest, they will know when and what they are ready for when it is right for them. That is another great aspect of being here with everyone else.....beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels.....it's just awesome and such a good community to be allowed to be a part of. Just my humble viewpoint, we all really need each other.
  23. Great stuff and thanks to everyone that is sharing and giving their wealth of knowledge, experience, insights and wisdom. I especially like and agree with way2fast's viewpoint of "whose money is it". Once I win, it is my money. It doesn't belong to the "house" anymore. Their money is theirs, and mine belongs to me. What they do with their money is their business and what I do with mine is not only my business, it is my responsibility to handle it in the most productive manner possible. So when someone says they are playing with house money, not to be a smartass, I will always ask.....oh really did they give you that money to play with? The usual response is, "no I won it". So I just simply say that is not the house's money, it is your money and now you not only own it, you are responsible for it. Unless of course, you are playing for entertainment purposes, and I can't imagine there is anyone as a member here that does that for entertainment purposes.
  24. Mine is fairly simple. Buy in for 5 units a shoe, win goal +5 and stop loss -5. Within those parameters, depending on how I am doing in a shoe, it may go beyond +5, and sometimes I settle for +1, +2, +3 etc. Never do I ever go beyond -5 stop loss. But Oz has me thinking about that stop loss, if you read what he shared about that. Playing online over the weekend I found myself a couple of times saying to myself......"talk to me Oz".....in a couple of shoe situations.
