  1. The Ultimate Baccarat App Version 23 is Ready for Update/Download at Google Play! Click on the link to see the announcement post.
  2. New Update...Version 23....is ready to be downloaded from Google Play! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=btc.btcsuite1 - New 7D+ Tab with 8 back to 15 back - New V87 Filter for Derived Recommendations - New Derived Recommendation REAL TIME hit rates - New Derived Recommendations Hot/Cold Indicators There is a lot to talk about with this update, Keith and I will be doing a video to discuss it more in depth. Post questions! If you have them, others probably to as well. 1. New 7D+ Tab - This tab tracks O8R8 - O15R15. The player can decided to use the 7D+ in derived recommendation calculations or not via a settings switch. 2. New V87 Filter for Derived Recommendations with hit rates. (Screenshot shows the V87 DR and how to get the hit rate, Long click on the DR). The V87 Derived Recommendation gets some amazing hit rates. Not as many recommendations but, this can be a very good indicator. 3. Current REAL TIME hit rates for all Derived Recommendations. Long click on any Derived Recommendation you'll see the hit rate at the current time for that Derived Recommendation. 4. Derived Recommendation Hot/Cold Indicators. Cold (Blue) = 50-52% hit rate Hot (Red) = Greater than 52%. The Derived Recommendation with the highest hit rate will be highlighted. If more than 1 has the highest hit rate, they will both/all be highlighted.
  3. It will run on Android 5 and up. However, the newer the phone/device, the faster it will run. I'm partial to used Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series phones, they had the best processors for their time and large screens. I use a Galaxy Note when testing and developing. The Galaxy A and J series will work, but if you have a choice, stick to the flagship Note and S series. Just make sure the screen is not cracked or damaged. Galaxy Note 5 EBay Galaxy Note 5 Search They are running about 50-60 bucks Galaxy Note 8 Ebay Galaxy Note 8 Search $125-150 ish Galaxy Note 9 Ebay Galaxy Note 9 Search $200 ish Personally, and this is just one guys opinion, if you think of this in terms of your bet size. Lots of guys bet $25/50/100 a hand, so $100 - $150 for a little better used phone is not too bad.....get one just a little more expensive than you are comfortable with. As more features are added to the app, you'll be a happy camper.
  4. Quick post here... but those of you with the app, experiment with the settings. If you watch the video, @Keith Smith has the 7D bar settings set to 2 of 3. I just ran through the shoe above with the 7D settings at 4 of 4 and there was quite a difference! Check out the video, on the 2 of 3 setting, the DRs (Derived Recommendations) hovered around zero and ended up at +2 On 4 of 4... +8 on the High Disparity Derived Recommendation with a 68% hit rate (hit rates are coming in an update in early April 2022). I'm beginning to like the 4 of 4 setting... we've said 2 of 3 all along but... with research and experience, we may find other settings work better. Or work better for specific shoe types. Thanks all! imagebmp.bmp
  5. Interestingly... ThinkOrSwim is an amazingly flexible trading platform that lets you build your own scans and use other scans people have written. About 3 years ago, I opened an account with them and dropped $50 in it just to have access to the scan tools. If I ever want my $50 back I can just close the account so......free in a way Google sheets has a formula you can use to get the current stock price. Just plug a symbol into a cell, use the formula to point at that cell and viola' current prices...free. I use their formula to get name and price like this (the rest of the info I copy in from the TOS scanner.) Tutorial Link https://www.howtogeek.com/449743/how-to-track-stocks-with-google-sheets/
  6. Hey all, not a baccarat post but just something I wanted to share with my friends on BTC for a while. My dad trades Cash Secured Puts and Covered Calls on lower priced stocks. A couple of years ago, he asked me to help him find securities in his price range that may be good options trading candidates. I built a custom scan on the Think or Swim trading platform and post the results to Google Sheets (link below). It's something I already do for my dad so I just thought I'd share the data. If you do this kind of trading, you probably have your own sources of information, but hey, another source never hurts huh? Covered calls and CSPs can be a decent options strategy for a small trading account because it's based off an ownership position in a security. Google it, do some research if you don't know about them and are interested. So basically, the scan identifies stocks under $15.00, with high option trading volume, option premium > .20 cents and orders them from the highest premium to lowest. The caveats... 1. I update this on my schedule and will continue to do so. Mostly weekly but sometimes I skip a month. 2. Second, this is only an information source, these are not recommendations, all trades are your responsibility. Good luck, happy trading - Here is the link to the sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZSq7I59JFAop-9QGlXx2g9LvJWSXfRfXLWkrxj3ugMo/edit?usp=sharing
  7. I went to the Venetian Sunday late afternoon, played stadium with the app and won $200 on a $200 buy in playing $10 & $25 units. First shoe = +12 x $10 units, second shoe 4X$25s. Stopped at double my buy in, it was late, I had an early flight on Monday. Went to the mall and bought my daughter a very nice Minnie Mouse Backpack for a souvenir. Thanks Pallazo/Venetian!
  8. @GerryM The PB option will remove the PB disparity from the Derived Recommendations calculations. We will be talking about it more tomorrow but there is no "Right" answer, like almost everything we do it's a tool that works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes, it all depends on the shoe. Will discuss more tomorrow, don't let me forget this question :-)
  9. It's on google now. Here is the post with a link and update instructions.
  10. A tip for the "Derived Recommendations" from the video above. I've noticed something during play/testing that is possibly very interesting. When the derived recommendations hover around Zero, I've noticed those shoes are typically producing a very obvious patterns, TBL or OTBL. I hope to get some more feedback from y'all to see if you notice this too, I can only test so many shoes. The video above is a perfect example. This shoe is very strong TBL all the way through. The Derived predictions helped identify this by hovering around zero. It will be interesting to see if the Derived Recommendations will help us both identify 7D opportunities, by counts going up and help us identify solid TBL/OTBL by counts hovering near zero. When looking at the shoe above, its easy to see TBL after the fact. But while you are playing it's nice to have those reminders that are telling you what is going on..... which is exactly the reason that @kachatz1 has said many times, get yourself a playbook and take it to the casino (search Uncle Bucks Baccarat Bible) :-) Have a good day all, see you Saturday.
  11. The best place to get the app is the BTC Store...and the best deal is to talk to @Keith Smith about the app + private forum membership combo so you can join in on the conversations, ask questions, discuss the best ways to use the app etc.. Thank you. https://forum.beatthecasino.com/store/
  12. Yoiks... I wrote that before having my coffee this morning. I did book for the correct dates, just typed them wrong this morning...thanks for catching that :-) I'm flying in on Friday Feb 18th ... i'll be there for the seminar on the Saturday Feb 19th.

  15. @kachatz1 is at it again LOL! (just kidding buddy) Interesting article..... I'm gonna guess the casino was more than happy to pay the $500,000 fine!! I'm guessing they kept a lot more than that out of the guys $100 million. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/la-casino-fined-500-000-for-looking-the-other-way-when-gambler-brought-duffle-bags-stuffed-with-100-million-for-marathon-gambling-sessions-11636212160?siteid=yhoof2
  16. Unwritten rule, you just hope it's a slow day when/if you get one. The odds are enormous. I played amateur golf pretty seriously for a good 25 years, maybe 50 to 100 rounds per year and only had 1 hole in 1! I got lone hole in 1 while playing in a high school golf tournament in 1986 so I didn't have to buy drinks. The funny thing was it was a terrible shot! I bladed a 9 iron about head high that was going to go over the green into a forest. The ball hit the bank of a sand trap, killed the momentum, hopped up on the green, took the break and went in! But, i've hit 100's of good shots that danced all over the hole, stayed on the lip of the cup, hit the flag and bounced away..none of them fell for the ace. Aces are just cosmic. I had a golfin' buddy I used to play with who aced the same hole at his home club 3 times.... never any other hole or location. Just that one hole. Lots of mysteries in the world.
  17. We were treated so well at the Lucky Dragon during the October Baccarat Crawl, hopefully they open back up with the same level of service. FB Post Below.
