Pando Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Hi everyone I am just back from playing a weeks baccarat in Singapore For those of you who don't know, Singapore has 2 çasinos, Resort World Sentosa, and Marina Bay Sands Before I go into detail, I will post a few shoes below. I want you guys to tell me what kind of shuffle you think they used for these shoes from Resort World Sentosa. (If you have been there and know the answer already, please don't spoil it for others). Keith Smith Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Hey thanks for the promotion of the site there by the way!!! Quote
Pando Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 No problem Keith I have learned all I know from this site, so anything I can do to help is automatic for me. Quote
avion Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 I honestly have no clue Pando regarding what type of shuffle. Great to know you got there and back home safely. Quote
Users brad01 Posted June 28, 2016 Users Report Posted June 28, 2016 Just a comment that these shoes look pretty heavy in 2's and 3's and some shoes are heavy in 4's and some are not I believe this is a strategy to produce an OTBL bias with occasions of streaks Then some shoes have 4's in to stop the players who try to ride the streaks Make some money on the shoes with the long streaks and lose it all and maybe more when they throw you one with 4's They look very similar to what I see at my casino and a similar strategy I know the answer to the question so not gonna answer it just comment on what I believe their strategy is to beat players Quote

Hi Wolfat I have always preferred Marina Bay Sands and have done well there before but not on baccarat But this visit I did get to like Resort World Sentosa more than before RWS has $25 baccarat tables, I could only find $50 minimum at MBS In actual fact I had a better playing experience at RWS, got chatting with a few locals, I enjoyed it. Winning helps. About Macau, Sands is my favourite, with MDB+ friendly tables everywhere. Good luck. 1 Quote

Its quite a long drive from KL and so I have preferred Singapore ever since I didn't play Baccarat at that time so I have no knowledge about the tables Quote
Pando Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 OK I had a few replies about the shoes and the comments were as expected The shoes were from $25 and $50 tables at Resort World Sentosa. What is interesting is that the shoes start their lives as pre-shuffled shoes, and then they are put through an automatic shuffler before the first use, and then after each shoe is dealt they are shuffled again. I asked a supervisor about the $100 and $200 tables, and she said the preparation was the same, but I did not actually see that happen. But there is no reason to mislead anyone about that. To me these shoes don't look any different from other casino's I have played. Some are short, some are long. Some are neither So the real point here (in my view) is that wherever we play, we have to READ THE SHOE. Don't worry about how its shuffled, where we are, we have to enter the shoe WITHOUT a preconceived notion of how to play it. Here are the 2 shoes I actually played at RWS; P13312523343413121241621131 (entered a bit late finished +6 units) P12322212221223 (finished early + 8 units) Food for thought cheers Pando Quote
Pando Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 An exception is that the 2-2-1 cancellation system works very well in most shoes. 1 Quote
avion Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 Now you know why I had no idea what type of shuffle it was, as I think you know Pando, I adhere heavily in giving priority to "reading the shoe". 1 Quote
Users brad01 Posted June 29, 2016 Users Report Posted June 29, 2016 This type of shuffle seems to come out of many auto shufflers In Australia (Crown Perth) the cards on main floor are prepped exactly the same - preshuffled and then into shufflers Reshuffled through shuffler after every shoe. Very similar from what I can see It must work well against the majority of players and I'm sure the casinos are not banking on having too many 'Pando's' around! Quote

Did you use S40M1 in shoe no. 2 above as there were many 2s'. Quote
Pando Posted June 30, 2016 Author Report Posted June 30, 2016 No I did not. Its not an S40M1 shoe. I played 1 to go to 2, and 2 to stay 2 Quote
Pando Posted July 8, 2016 Author Report Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) This is a very easy play without using a progression or loop If 1's are low and 2's are high, then it works well I had only a few losing bets when the 1 stayed 1, and 2 went to 3 cheers Pando Edited July 8, 2016 by Pando Quote
