$50 K in 50days ( fasten your seat belts)

      - and get ready for another kachatz1 giddy-up

Not been posting much here, as invested in a new business, and been busy...also vacation, etc

But W2F inspired me to set a few goals with his posts, so it’s all ready to go...signed, sealed and delivered, I got there...

-if you don’t join the forum after THIS, shame on you...You may not really be  a “real Player”, or you cannot understand/ fearful to how to scale this to $5,000, $10,000 or “whatever”makes your boat float for 50... ( your problem, not mine)

Oh, and you think you are going to get-it-all in the next 15 minutes, think again...

Tina Turner sings about it being “nice, and easy”...

           -anybody been paying attention...I won’t

But like Audie Murphy once said...

           - “Before I ever rid a horse, I was worried”

(he went on to star in multiple successful Western movies back in the day...)

Strap in, and strap up....the casino is the mightiest Bunking Bronco you’ve ever encountered...

Not here to disappoint you, but this is on the Public Forum for a reason.

Its a simple matter, really...combine  “ frequency of events” stats across a number of casino “games”, and you have the makings of  “casino stew”...cooked up correctly ( and just being a bit lucky) , and you have $50K in 50days ( or you can be on the down-side of same, you are not careful...)

REAL, REAL CAREFUL !

And yes, I mean real, real, real...

So why is this on the Public Forum?

Simple.

(1) It took me a lonnnnnnnng , lonnnnnnnng time to realize that every casino game  IS BASED ON THE MATHEMATICS OF THAT PARTICULAR GAME...and  to ignore what amounts to very simple math can be very hazardous to your wealth.

        - So, perhaps this can help at least one other person ( might be you?)

(2) I live in Las Vegas, so the results of my 50/50 were achieved with the advantage of having more than 30 “go to” places to attempt this undertaking

         - But, if you pay attention, you could achieve this with far fewer “ connections” ...I’ll let you decide what is right for you...

(3) I really don’t like CRAPS, nor do I participate in any of the other casino games that are mentioned below, so I limited myself to

         - Baccarat

         - Blackjack

         - Roulette

         - Sports Betting

( ps...no offense meant to those of you who like Craps, Poker, Pai Gow, video poker or W.H.A.T.E.V.E.V.R. is your passion...just not for me, and Yes, I have sampled them all...)

(4) AND MOST importantly, you just might be able to achieve the same results I did, SO LONG AS YOU RIGOROUSLY/ CONSISTENTLY PAY ATTENTION to “the math” of that particular game...

So since we are on  a public forum, let’s talk about the math, and the nuances of each, for the 4 games I played, played out at over 30 casinos.

              - Later, of course.

( oh, and let me tell you, I completely understand you likely do not have 30+ casinos in your neighborhood, but I truly believe, if you are patient, and disciplined, you can achieve the same....even at a single casino.....except, if you are in tha USA, I’ll leave it up to you to determine how to place sports bets....)

( oh, and let me also tell you, best you don’t hope for a quick ending to just how I got there...but let me assure you, it will be a happy ending...)

( oh, and finally, you might achieve results  wayyyyyy, wayyyyyy better than me....I tend to be very conservative in my approach to these games...those of you who know me just might agree...or not?)

So, let’s talk “Simple Roulette”,  first.

Just play the “outside bets” .... plenty of Google to tell you how/ why

          - black/red

          - odd/even

          - 1-18/19-36

          - 3 columns of 12 ( 2-1 odds)

That’s it.

That’s how I played .

Well, kind of...

Blackjack next...

Kevin is a genius!

I tend not to have a lot to say about playing baccarat because I wasn't really looking to learn to play it in the traditional sense...without going into all of the details I was looking to do something that was said to be technically impossible, as I know that many have tried to do what I was attempting to, and had failed. For years it bugged me that there must be a way based on mathematics rather than simply recouping losses, with the inevitable results. Mathematics is a pretty big field though, and where to start? Another forum *ahem* didn't give me the answers I was looking for, despite being run by a math professor with a 160 IQ. Then I checked out Kevin's Masterclass methodology...okay...I thought to myself...sounds interesting. I wonder if I can do anything with this...

I figured that breaking down events as per Kevin's findings, and then making a recurring pattern based on the mathematics relating to the whole would be an interesting way to look at things. Guess what??? It appears to be working rather well.

The thing is, I've seen new members on you-know-where trashing BTC for being allegedly dumb enough to give out the rules to their paid content "systems" on the public forum, but the point is that what the free members aren't getting is that priceless exchange of ideas, without which the basic theory isn't an awful lot of use.

Did I say that Kevin is a genius?

And so, since nobody caught it...winning strategy @ roulette requires that no matter our bet, we place a corresponding bet on ( in the USA) “0” and “00”

Example ....bet $100 on Black/Red ...place a corresponding $3 on both of the “0” and “00” bets...or settle on $5 to straddle the two

Not exactly  50/50 odds, but close enough... and if you bet Black/Red, Odd/ Even + 1-18/19-36 all at once, you have effectively reduced your $5-  $6 to about 1.5% - 2% of your total wagers..pretty much in line with vig on BANKER bet in BAC... ( YES, I do know it is NOT exactly the same...but it is close...)

so next, I’ll talk about my 50day plan... and where/why/how  it worked, and where/ why /how it didn’t.

( tomorrow...)

And after all that , we’ll get into how I played Roulette , how I played  Blackjack,  how I Sports-Bet, and how Baccarat is truly a game of numbers....

          -but first...THE PLAN...

( because you gotta’ have a plan)

          - And I think you will be surprised where I placed my biggest bets...

It's the kind of claim that Ellis would make in a new sucker's headline..."Make $50,000 in 50 days..."

Ha!

There we no animals ‘sacrificed’ in order to make these claims, nor were these claims unreal

Oh, and did I mention I had a few partners helped me out with this?

So let’s talk about THE PLAN

Due to Religious affiliations, girlfriend  experiences she wanted me to participate in , other business interests, etc....it actually took me 91days before I quit.

And I quit with only $41, 234 ( not the $ 50/50K ) I spoke of...my goal/ objective...

So I started back on July 12

               - and, just what was the plan?

  • Baccarat Hall of Fame Member
Posted (edited)

the plan was this:

Win as follows:

Baccarat $400/ day....stop win $2,000; stop loss $600 day

Blackjack $100/ day.....stop win $500, stop loss $400/day

Roulette $200/day.....stop win $200 , stop loss $200 / day

Sports Betting  $300/day ....stop win $1200/ day, $2,500 stop loss  ( way different odds than Casino games....due to parlays, individual game  odds, etc....)

next, my plan was NOT to play 50 consecutive days...even I live in Las Vegas, playing every day will drive you crazy

( try it some day...GOOD LUCK!)

tomorrow, I’ll tell you the results...

(Took me almost 120days to get there !!)

Oh well, I “quit” at 91 days...originally

but, then ,  I figured “ what the heck??.”

Go for the 50.

Took me almost  another  month to get the last 9...Very painful, indeed...

A couple of explanations are necessary.

(1) Even with Stop Win and Stop Loss objectives, I often “quit early” ( not at my “stop win”, nor at my “stop loss” objectives)

(2) Like any Business Plan, there’s always room for improvement...( “get while the getting is good”) + sometimes, you just got to “ quit while you are ahead”

(3) Living in LV, I have identified individuals who seem to ”excel” at each of the 4 games I played...I cannot identify them, as seems nobody but me wants to let their names be known...BUT, PART OF “ THE PLAN” , was based on engaging others to help me ....

          - Some of them play primarily at one casino

          - Some of them excel at one game only ( their game of choice...others, several...)

          - none of them want to be called-out/ recognized by name...so I won’t

( If you think this is EASY...think again...)

More, tomorrow...

So anyways, like I said, I did not play each day until achieving specific win/ loss parameters, nor was I foolish enough to think I wold just automatically play for 50days straight, win $1,000/day ....and be done with it.

     - Evenliving here in Las Vegas, I found that with many other interests, commitments, activities, vacations etc. it took me 91days to get just north of + $41K “ net” of losses. ( I actually only played 38 of those days....)....then another 12 days of play to deliver me to my objective of $50 K ($50 K in 50 days)

     - I almost exclusively played alone, except a few times with friends , and I almost always played really early am, as I wanted to get-in, and get-out as quickly as possible...like in Baccarat, I virtually always let the dealer turn the cards.... in Blackjack, I moved as fast as I could....in Roulette, it can sometimes be very difficult to find tables open @ 3 or 4 am....and in Sports Betting, which by far required the most time and energy to evaluate what/ and which-side to bet on.

( At this point, I really wish I could tell you the few people I learned a thing or two from for each of the 4 games, nor can I give you the casino names and times, for obvious reasons...)

Finally, all my wins and losses were “ net” of expenses, like Baccarat commissions, dealer tips, food I paid for, Uber/ Lyft, etc....On those days I drove, I did not figure in the cost of gasoline, etc. on my car.....but I did figure in that “ pesky parking” fee which now dominates the strip...

So at 38 days....of actual playing, there I stood at +$41K

I will tell you this... for those 38 days, BAC made up just over 61% of the “ net win” , and sports betting almost 17%...that left a scant +22% for Roulette and BJ, combined, and below, I think you will figure out “ why”

Finally, once I decided to “complete the challenge” and see things through to actually get to the $50 K, it actually took me 12 more days of playing time, so my ROI/ Player Advantage was not so hot!

-all-in all, almost exactly 120 days from start to finish, 50 days of which I played @at least for a few moments ( or more)

The beauty of all this was, including travel time to/ from the casinos, and even a rough estimate of my time plotting/ making/ collecting  sports bets, my total time invested was just over 275 hours.... a pretty solid return per hour....especially after figuring in expenses which amounted to almost $4,300

-Not a great player advantage, not a world-beating ROI

BUT, most def, without a proper plan, I likely would have never “ got there” ...

And I got there very conservatively, I believe.

Patience and Discipline. Patience and Discipline.

(sure, I got lucky, but I much prefer being ‘good’,  to being ‘lucky’)

So next I’ll get into my own particular bettingstrategy for each game, then Money-management for each of the games after that...

                                                                **** SPOILER ALERT! ****

It’s going to appear extremely conservative to some, but reminder....on the Public Forum, this is about you, more than me...

I know many, many players only bet every so often, and not too recklessly.....

And If I can help even one person to become disciplined enough to set up their own goals/ objectives, methodologies/ bankroll controls and follow through with their own plan, it will be worth it...

Even playing conservatively, this was not so easy as it might end up seeming to you when I am all finished explaining.

it took a lot of Patience and Discipline...

( but $50 Large is nothing to sneeze about)...

I'm not surprised to hear that. We know baccarat has one of the lowest house edges in the casino. Why play anything else?

Sorry for being “absent” so many days, but X.Dot here over the weekend, then had to immerse myself in an Entrepreneur’s product launch I had promised I would “ captain”, last several days...

Always “ instructive” playing with another BTC forum member, as it really helps to understand what’s “ really good”, and “ not so good” about our  forum...

So , The Plan.

KISS ( Keep It Simple, Stupid)

(a) broad range of win/ loss goals/objectives, to allow for the fact I did not wish to “ press” bets, or put myself in unrealistic/ dangerous situations ( like, “ GO ALL IN ON PLAYER”, BET BLACK ONLY IN ROULETTE, ETC. )...I listed them above...

(b) chose an assortment of games, to make sure If one or more was not working out, I could look to another ( p.s  - also, kept me from getting bored....)

-like Sports Betting, could always venture back to the Sports Book, if I got tired of sitting/ standing at table games

(c) fairly broad Stop Win/ Stop Loss objectives, so I could maneuver between  games, depending on the results I was achieving

( d) meticulous “ tracking” across all games...could use paper-and-pen, “ at the table”  for all but BJ ( there, I relied on my chip count...)

(e) do not spend more than 3hours/ day in the casino, and if could.leave early, I did it. ( I violated this just a few times).... but....many, many times I left the casino well before my “budgeted time”...a few  days, not so.......actually, travel time, lunch time, sports book time, etc.consumed far more of my time than I anticipated...

(f) I used $50 units as my base bet, and all was done/ recorded using flat bets, or at most, a 1-2 loop

(g) many, many times, I did not have to engage in all 4 games in a single day, particularly on those occasions where things went so well in the beginning

other times, I  kind of needed to play all games...or, alternatively, I had other business to attend to...I was also enamored with the prospect(s) of playing 4 games to achieve the desired  objective....not just 1 or 2... ( more fun, + my objective to inspire others....)

                   - but only after I achieved success...

Next,

 WHAT I DID

HOW I DID IT

REGRETS ?

IF I HAD TO DO IT OVER AGAIN...

THINGS TO CONSIDER

OFF TO New Mexico for the Holiday weekend, but I’ll post as best I can next few days....
