  1. Oz, We do have several members here who play the majority of their baccarat using the "online venue" that you've asked about. I don't believe anyone is using the RNG baccarat, but strictly the live dealt games only. US players have a very limited supply of live, online casinos to chose from but those outside of the Colonies have quite a few choices for sure. As with any casino, test the online play and make sure it runs the way you want it to before wagering for serious money. MVS
  2. You know, I think I'll leave this one up so that others might get the hint that they really should READ a lot of this forum before coming in here and writing material like this. "Always bet Banker" ???? Uh, I don't think so. MVS
  3. Well, this looks like the right place to put this shoe. Was out with the wife while she did her monthly slots free play thing and I had some time to actually get a live game in for a change. The single table had one Asian guy playing and not very thrilled about it from his expression. He wasn't the usual guy I see from time to time, but perhaps a mid-30's, early 40's type. Heavy Bank better, too. Anyway, I asked to see his card and transcribed it quickly from what I saw. I think he may have not had the entire shoe as it ended with MY hand 53 so maybe he didn't have the exact front end of the shoe. From what I could see, it looked like a ripe shoe for F2 or F3 on Player to me. Just one lone "2" on Bank up until the time I showed up and just the occasional single so Player looked like the way to go. I got started at hand 29 on my card (probably hand 35 or 40 actual) and jumped in running F3 on Player. Good choice for a change! Two broken pencils later and not a "B3" in the deck! My playing buddy at the corner seat was chasing the Bank anytime it showed and he was taking a beating on it. My max bet was 3 units. On the play card, had I lost the bet at hand 45 I would have exited the shoe with a respectable +5, but it won so I continued on. The game was running fast and I never did get around to catching the SAP count up but it was obvious the 3's and 4+'s on Player were running rampant while Bank's runs were few and far between. 4. Mbasics, You'll find a nice overview of F2 and F3 on page 13 of the NOR manual. Basically F2/F3 is the system play for strong side betting. MVS
  5. I do believe the most I've personally seen was three ties in a row, a few times. MVS
  6. All, Well, in our house, it's off to the casino on Christmas Day. As most of our families are away, it only leaves those of us who stay home for the holidays and we meet for breakfast and head off for an afternoon at the local B&M casino. Most everybody plays the slots but I'm the only baccarat player and one of the other guys went for the airball roulette machine. Last year I had a struggling shoe running S40 and F2, switching just in time to do it wrong. So what else is new! At least it showed a small profit so the year ended nicely. This year it was another S40 shoe and I elected to stick it out as the numbers of "ones" was keeping me in the game. This year's problem? Way too many "threes" in the shoe, but it still came out a winner, although I should have exited around hand 38 or 39 playing with the greens. At hand 44 I was seriously considering going to F3 on Bank (which would have been a valid play) but elected to stay with S40/Mode2 as it wasn't really losing, so much as just holding its own. Also, I don't think there were more than two ties in the whole shoe! So, without further adieu, my annual Christmas shoe, warts and all. MVS .
  7. Brando, It would appear that BigVic figured it out before I returned. It would appear that you're playing RNG baccarat at Bovada. I'll leave it at that. Anyway, it looks like this thread can remain as it's a great teaching lesson for others who may come by and browse the forums. Good luck to you in your future baccarat play. MVS
  8. Brando, I don't believe I've ever seen an online casino shuffle every hand! You might want to recheck your source for that information. Yes, we have many "online" baccarat players here. MVS (I'm one of them!)
  9. Brando,Well, that would be me who deleted your first post. The overall theme of the message was suspect right from the start, but I can overlook that. We do get a lot of posts very similar to yours so that would be why yours was removed almost immediately. Yes, that ARE plenty of sites that would welcome your "system" that shows a consistent profit over millions of hands. To tell you the truth, that's where it really belongs. I can give you a few of them if you would like to post there. I did look at the "results" and data like that was useful, back in 1972 when TRS-80's were all the rage. I know, I had one and generated "data" just like you've posted! There are plenty of real baccarat players here who would probably "verify" your system if anything about it was mentioned in your post or your file! So, seeing as how the boss has replied to your message, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt and let the message stand until a good reason to remove it shows up! Welcome aboard. There's a lot of good information and a lot of winning players here, but they work at it. Plan accordingly. MVS
  10. patisake, Are you looking for a scorecard with any of the NOR components used or one that shows all of the modules? Lots of shoes are available with only one or two of the parts of NOR. MVS
  11. patisake, I play it almost daily "online" as that's the easiest way for me, personally, to get some table time in. When I head to the B&M casino, it's an hour and a half each way so that ties up the day pretty well. Online play is done at live dealt tables only for me. No RNG or video games. One of the nice things about online play is that when you come into a shoe "late", you can see what the entire shoe has done and actually chart it before making your first wagers! MVS
  12. All, Anybody play the 2pm shoe this afternoon? I stumbled into it just as she was finishing the shuffle so I thought I'd watch a bit. Started out BPB so I jumped in on S40. Of course, true to my usual play, S40 collapsed almost immediately () but not to fear, the streaks were pointing at F2/F3 so that's where I went and it came out nicely. (+13) If anyone would like the played shoe posted, I'll scan it but for now, here's the full shoe. The dealer pulled the "joker" card during the last hand but never dealt the final hand. I hate it when they do that. MVS Bet Phoenix 12-15-12 2PM or so B11232533 B1512113141 B34222142 P11211111
  13. Aha, now it makes sense! Yes, when I'm sitting here at the desk, watching Star Trek or something and I click on to the BPH site, if I see what appears to be a really good S40 (or F3) shoe, I can jump in mid-shoe, make a few wins and drop out. A lot of times that's all I can really put into the shoe with the available time. MVS
  14. Chief, Rest assured that if I ever see anything "funny" going on at BPH, this forum will be the first to know for sure! We do have a few of our "regular" members here who also play there and we do keep a good eye out for what's happening and pretty much anytime they change anything. MVS (si omnes, S40, sine metu)
  15. Perhaps I didn't state that quite correctly. At BPH, during some times of the day and night, they have three tables running. All three are the same table but with different wagering limits. Obviously I'm on the small limits table and not the $500 min bet table! With that said, if you have a second computer in the room, you can log in on both of them, one using real money and one using fun money and both computers will be on the same table. Is that clearer? MVS
  16. Yes they do. Just enter the live dealt game and select "FUN" instead of "REAL" and you'll be on the same live money table only playing for fun money. The next obvious question is "are they really the same table"? Yes, just log into the "REAL" table on another computer and play both of them. Identical. I didn't but you can if you want to. If you use another email address, make sure it's valid and will not go away soon. The email address is critical for some reason. Start small, play small and get very, very comfortable with your online game before even thinking about moving up in color. Play it for real and don't think it's just another computer game. It's real money in a real game. No "do-overs" when you make a mistake! MVS
  17. Yes, at the time I made my deposit, a credit card was used but they processed it through a third party rather than the actual casino. Another way was to have them make a single "cash advance" and use that as the deposit. It's not the best way, but sometimes it's the only way. Most casinos will reimburse your "fees" for this type of transaction. Yes, a paper check, drawn on a Canadian bank. No problems depositing to my local bank and getting paid. I only take the once a month free check when I make the withdrawl. There's no need to pay for express mail, express anything. Once a month is sufficient and you get one free one a month. The last check arrived in 3 business days via FedEx. I guess it depends on what the powers that be are looking for. My DL, a utility bill, the front and back of the credit card I used to fund the account and a photo of me holding the credit card were what they asked from me but those things may have changed by now as I only did that indentification once when I signed up. I've moved to green chip play from time to time and made the 6 unit bets with no probems. My "normal" play is on the $10 table so raising my wagers in generally when on a nice streak where I can parlay part of the winnings. Well, I know it's going to sound trite but I generally track my wins/losses by the week and month. Losing a session of 5 or 8 usints is not a big deal when at the end of the week it's showing a profit, no matter how small. I've been playing there about three years now and although my winnings aren't about to buy me a new boat (the old one is doing just fine) they haven't kicked me off. I'll let EVERYBODY know when they boot me for winning "too much"!!!!! Seriously, the reports from people who were "booted" because they won too much are generally overblown and when the details are actually tracked down, usually false anyway. I figure if I'm winning too much and get booted from an online casino, by then I should be chartering a Lear Jet and heading to Vegas anyway! Hope this helps. ALSO ....... Be sure and read the entire sign up agreement with whatever casino you're planning on using. Then reread it again and make sure you understand ALL of the payout requirements. If you don't understand them, call their 800 number and start asking questions. Once again, read the sign up agreement and make sure you understand it. This is very important so that you understand the agreement you're getting into. (end of sermon) MVS
  18. For those of you who may be thinking about "online" play, may I offer this basic primer on "How to Play Online". 1. Find out if you CAN play online. US players obviously have very few places where they can play for real. The rest of the world has many more choices for sure. 2. Once you find a valid casino, PRACTICE on it using their free LIVE games. If they don't allow you to play for free, LIVE, then don't play there. If you're not comfortable with their game, don't play there. If you don't trust it or just feel funny about something, don't play it. It's your money and you can take it anywhere you want that makes YOU feel good to be playing. 3. Make a small deposit and make sure there's no funny business with your credit card, debit card, gift card or cash account. In my case I deposited $200 and played on the $5 table. That's 40 units to see if I could win with a decent play, online. 4. Play for small stakes at first. Not just the first few games, but perhaps a full MONTH before even thinking about raising your wagers. 5. Now once you're ahead in your account a bit, try to make a withdrawl (either your original deposit or whatever the minimum is) and see what the process is for positive identification and all that. If you're taking money out, there are a lot of things that you may have to produce to get paid the first time. 6. Do NOT, under any circumstances, take any casino bonus that is offered, EVER. More people have had more problems pulling their money out if they still have "bonus" money that needs to be cleared. 7. The casino will be there every day. If the video feed is bad, out of sync, doesn't look right or anything, just exit the table and come back another day. There's never any reason to force your play if the video/sync is poor. 8. Don't attempt to eat dinner and play baccarat at the same time. Set aside the time to play the table and close the door. Come out of your computer room AFTER you're done playing, not in the middle of a game. 9. And finally, test, test, test and practice with the game you're going to play so that NOTHING surprises you when you start clicking on the real money button the first few times. Also, think about leaving your early games with any kind of a profit. If you're up 5 units in your first shoe, don't even THINK about giving it all back. Leave if you drop to +2 and call it a win! You can always come back tomorrow. Walking out of your computer room with a "win" always feels good, no matter how many units it turned out to be. MVS
  19. All, One of my older online sportsbook/casinos just came back to life all sparkling new and with a LIVE dealt baccarat game. Sportsbetting dot ag (formerly Racebook dot com) is back up online and takes US players! I originally started playing on the old Racebook when it processed the horses and Jai-Alai wagers out of Miami's frontons. That worked out well for my Jai-Alai wagering and then I used them for a sports book for a long time. The problem was they never had any live table games (all were RNG at the time) so I had to eventually track down BetPhoenix, which has worked out very well over the years. With that said, I finally discovered that the old Racebook is newly renamed Sportsbetting with a whole new operation and it even had me log in under my old username/pw and my account was still there, including the residual funds from over the years! I thought I had written that one off a year ago. Anyway, their live baccarat game appears to be the typical live studio, which is used by a lot of the online casinos. You can talk/chat with the dealers and they do a full wash of the cards on the screen instead of just dumping a new shoe on the table. Very nice. My withdrawls from them were fine when they were Racebook but I haven't pulled anything out of them since the change as I'm still just "testing" the live game to make sure it feels right to me. Hopefully I'll have more information next month. But for the time being, it looks like I've got another online casino that I can use if my primary one goes down. The video feeds appear to be a little nicer and sharper so I may put more time into this one to make sure it's OK to run with. I am not an affiliate nor do I have anything to do with BetPhoenix/ag or Sportsbetting/ag other than I play live, online baccarat at both venues now. MVS
  20. bo_da, There were obviously many different ways to play this shoe and show a good profit. F3 just happened to be the one I chose in real time with real money. Any time I post one of my shoes, I also include my thinking of the "WHY's" of what I did, as mentioned in the thoughts on losing the first wager and then moving on to S40 for the plan. We are all here to learn and to continue to learn. When I have something that may be of use to the entire baccarat group, I post it up as most people will not want to see the day to day bland shoes that produce small (but consistent) profits. Playing Ellis' "3-4-5" on this would have made me a ton of money, but that's after the fact. The real fact is that this is the way it got played and not how I "should" have or "could" have played it. MVS
  21. Hi guys, Well, with me totally stuffed with too much food and while waiting for the Patriots/Jets game to get started, I stopped in at BetPhoenix to see if anything was going and I was right at the start of this shoe. Actually I got there at hand 3 and it looked good to just test a bet at hand 4. As most of my blood supply was trying to digest food while leaving a few drops for my feeble brain, I somehow figured out that maybe F2 or F3 might work here, depending on what the P's were doing. I'm normally not a big fan of F3 but it seemed like the play at hand 13 and if it had lost, I was only down 1 unit and could have just regrouped and moved on. As it turned out, F3 was the play and I continued on. As I was just working on F3 and expecting to exit the shoe in a reasonably short order, I only kept the SAP counts when they switched or it looked like I needed it. SAP did not really come into play here but you never know when it might be needed. Anyway, played almost the entire shoe on Banker and wound up with just over 2 units in commissions! The funny thing is that if that very first wager had lost, I would have probably jumped on S40 and played down to hand 32 for a small profit and then exited the shoe. Funny how things like that turn out. Also notice that I became super conservative at hand 47 with the 5 in a row loss. +16 would have been the bail out point. It is now time for my next feeding! MVS
  22. You know, if it just doesn't work out selling here, there's always eBay. MVS (in a tolerant mood this week)
