  1. Once again I believe the great computer forum crash of 2013 has wiped out a large chunk of the previously stored programs, graphics and posted scoresheets and as that particular program goes back almost 3 years, I'm sure it's history along with a lot of other things now. Slowly but surely it's coming back. I'll see if I still have that here on one of the local computers and if I do, I'll attempt an upload of it. MVS
  2. Wow. That's a new one since the last time I was there. The Tampa HR is 94 miles from me while the Immokalee HR is 61 miles. Hmm, I don't think I would be liking that at all. It wasn't that bad in Macau!! MVS
  3. Yes, for some reason, the software crash and reset also crashed my magic powers so my PM's had to be trimmed way back. And for some other reason, everybody wants to PM me this week. I don't get it. So I've cleaned it out today and hopefully should have it under the working limit. MVS
  4. Samjai, As previously mentioned, a lot of the data, including most, if not ALL of the stored graphics internal to the forum proper have been lost. I had graphics going back several years in threads that are now history. Luckily, for the last year or so I've been hosting the graphics on a site remote from this one so they can work across several areas. For the time being, read, read and keep reading. I'll assume you have the NOR manual and it does have the examples in it to work with to get you started. As the threads continue to evolve, more and more shoe examples and plays will start to show up. MVS
  5. samjai, As this is a pretty 'old' thread, the message in question most probably got lost in the recent server crash the the forum suffered recently. For now, stay with the new material and as the older things slowly start to show up again (we hope) it'll get better. MVS
  6. Oz, Very true. I believe Kilieu probably just jumped in to the "Baccarat" section instead of the private area, however the post does demonstrate to others who may not be members yet, just what it is we're talking about on the "inside". With that said, we'll just leave this short thread up and close it for now. Kilieu can repost in the Private area when he gets a chance or better yet, I'll just move the original question to the correct area! MVS
  7. Kramden, Yes, I'm still playing at BPH and about the only thing they have changed is the minimum amount you can take on a withdraw, which is now $1000. You still get one free withdraw per 30 day period. I've heard of a few new places that are supposed to take US players, but haven't pursued any of them seriously for the time being. MVS
  8. Packrat, Analytical software or just "software" for playing the game? Software to generate shoes and roulette numbers or just something to play the game. If for some odd reason you just can't find anything in an online search, running over to any Office Depot, Office Max or most software gaming stores, you should be able to find a CD of casino games, usually Hoyle or something similar. Of course there are about a million games available for the iPads and things like that. Or, if it's just numbers and results you're looking for and you're not too picky, just run an Excel spreadsheet and generate all the spins and hands you could ever want. All of it "offline". MVS
  9. Well, no need to devote every minute of the day to it. A mere hour or two a day should suffice. When you think about it, sitting down at the table and dealing and writing for and hour should really bring the concepts into focus. However, you'll probably find that once you really get engrossed in the play by play of writing them down, the time will fly by. The next thing that happens is the wife starts yelling from the back room around 2am. Something along the lines of "are you still screwing around with those cards again?" MVS (The wife is a slot player. What the heck does she know anyway?)
  10. EEagle, When in doubt and starting out here, take the time and effort to literally sit down at the living room table with a full shoe (6 or 8 decks as it were) and start to play by the rules and make each bet so that you understand WHY you're making that wager. Yes, it will be agonizing slow for the first two or three shoes but it WILL get you up to speed on what do to at each turn of the card. Write it down on the scorecard and if you don't know what the next wager is or WHY you're making it just stop. Look up the answer, and continue on. Obviously this isn't for the casino play, it's for that grinding practice every day until, like others have stated, "you can do this in your sleep". Many a night (at least early on) I would just be laying in bed and run "what if" hands in my head and if I couldn't come up with the correct answer, I'd get up and look it up. There are many ways to study this and reading the material is only one of them. Try the hand dealt play on a table with notes for EACH hand. That should really help bring out the how and why of the appropriate wager. MVS
  11. Although I haven't been to the particular site mentioned in this thread, I've found that about half of the "internet game" style baccarat games are a bit off. My wife uses an iPad to access a few baccarat games for me and of the 5 decent ones I've played, FOUR of them had incorrect rules!! I did write to the authors explaining the errors and they eventually did correct them but things like the "667" rule and the fact the ties do not automatically lose for everybody made me really test out these games before using them for any kind of practice. I will admit that a few of those iPad games are very addicting but at least it's good practice while waiting in the car for whatever it is that women do while shopping for half of the afternoon. MVS
  12. All, Actually, it's now been FOUR years! Can it possibly be that I've been a full paid up member here for that long? AND STILL IN PROFITS!!! Yes, it's true and if this is August, it's time for my annual update in this thread. It's still a very short thread so going back to read the original messages should provide some kind of idea of what goes on here in the "private" area of this forum. This is still, without a doubt, my own personal longest winning streak that I can remember. The fact that my "old" winning streaks usually lasted a few days seems totally in a distant past. Four years ago I came in here, like most people, and wondered if I was doing the right thing to actually pay for the service. In my case, I believe it was the right thing. This place got me thinking on a new level, got me taking money OUT of the casino and my game advanced an order of magnitude in knowledge and depth of play. There are many very skilled and intelligent players here and they literally give freely to help anyone who really wants to work on their game. So, consider this an advertisement if you will. Call me a shill (many have on other boards). Call me anything you think I am, but you can always call me a profitable baccarat player. At least for the last four years!! If you're reading this and are not already a private member, take the time to read the entire thread. Is your baccarat game better now that it was a year ago? That's the question to ask yourself. MVS
  13. Had to go back and take a look at the shoe and I think you're looking at hand 38. I had to make the decision of Modes and with no other streak on Player other than the one that I was currently in, I elected Mode 3 and went for the 3rd wager on OTB4L. Mostly it was because looking back at the shoe, the was nothing to support that streak continuing on, at least in my brain. MVS
  14. That would be the part (and logic) I've been missing on a high starting count shoe. Thanks. MVS
  15. Chief, Two things to bring up here. The first being the general concensus is NOT to do a lot of switching in the shoe. With that said, and starting in OTB4L, I will tend to stay with it as long as it is producing a profit or at least holding its own until something "better" comes along. Looking at a shoe with a strong Player bias and running 2,1,2,1,2,1,2 one would probably be on "Fx" on the Player, or strong side. But as we don't know if it will continue, I just stayed with OTB4L until it started pointing to something else. Starting with F2 at hand 4 would have produced a very nice +10 by hand 19. I'll take that any day! However, it would start to fall apart, depending on what your betting progression was, starting right after that. At hands 20-23 you might think about changing due to the "2,3,2" series between hands 18-24 but that would have been premature. The run of 4 Players at hands 34-37 might have been the start of something, but it had nothing to support it in the previous 9 hands or so. Being a very conservative player, and having OTB4L showing a nice, but slow, increase in the wins, I elected to just plod along and see what happens. Had any of the bets lost after the +9 past hand 30, I would have been done with the shoe. Like I said, a very conservative player for sure! MVS
  16. NormA (and everybody else), I just went back and double checked the posted shoe and it was 80 hands. Once I plotted out the shoe that Shereevanest posted up, the discrepancy showed itself. With that said, I have seen a few shoes that have gone over 80 hands. Probably not more than 3 or 4, but they are out there. Throw out a lot of natural hands with minimal ties and you've got a shoe running over 75 hands for sure. MVS
  17. Come on guys, let's try to keep it in the correct format for all to use. Just trying to keep it all the same for consistency. Thanks. 18. All, Wasn't quite sure where to post this but we may as well post it up in the public area and perhaps somebody will learn something from it. The wife was out spending a bit more of my retirement money and I had all my local chores done so I popped on in at BetPhoenix to see how the shoe was looking. It was looking pretty good I think. The main reason for posting this up was to show all of the "1,2" series in it!! I've been seeing a lot of "player" type shoes at BPH and no matter what "theory" you subscribe to about Player/Banker, these strong player shoes are kind of nice to deal with. I logged in and got to the game around hand 8 and made the decision to jump in at hand 13 running OTB4L. Fx on the strong side would also have been a legitimate start I would think. OC was +3 and nothing really pointing to a streak play so it was off to the races. As it turned out, it was a good choice. A single "4" in there (on player too) and two "3's" made this a simple run to the end. If you're transcribing, here's the numbers: Bet Phoenix 07-11-2013 10pm B1212121213121 B221121211412 B121212 MVS
  19. Oh what the heck, may as well add my two cents worth. I used the logic that has already been presented about "losing more in a day that what the course cost". At the time I joined, it was a full membership and I do remember the day I got my money back from the casino. Still have the check receipt!! (Online casino and all that). Your mileage may vary but many people have put in the time, practice and work to show a profit in the casinos all from their experience here. Next month I'll update my four year running commentary since I joined as a full, paid member. Four years in profit is something I never could say in the previous 40 years of casino gambling. MVS
  20. Yep. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. Old habits are hard to break. MVS
  21. Just taking a quick look at it, I had F2 pegged after the P3 start. Wound up +22 at the bottom of that page using U1D2M1. High bet was 4, once. Easy to do (for me) on a $10 table. Not quite so easy on a black table! MVS
  22. Just for consistency on the forum, here's the correct transcription of your shoe. Nicely done, by the way. MVS B42222113111 P22124212121 B2311332131 P1
  23. Final04, As yes, the "supreme bet selection" method. On the surface it would appear that you will be waiting for "something" to happer (a trigger) which will certainly guarantee you a winning wager. Good idea in theory, but it's the actual execution of same that throws everyone. Well, if it works in Macau, it should work on any baccarat table. Be sure and pony up with $3000 and hope that you don't pick 5 poor supreme choices! Seriously, EVERYONE on this forum has seen 5 losses in a row come up almost DAILY. Whatever your trigger might be, the actual wager is what counts and no matter what pattern you choose, it will produce 5 losers sooner or later. I would recommend you take a step back, work on your details a bit more and give it another try in a more realistic environment. It's a good group of players here and they will be more than willing to help, assuming you're not basing your entire success on a 5 step Martingale, no matter what the "trigger of success" may be. Thanks for posting up. A good discussion is always welcome. MVS
