  1. I didn't play baccarat yesterday as I normally do because I had little sleep the night before. That's the correct thing to do according to many of the good players on this site But I decided to do a brain function test on myself to get some comparisons This site https://testmybrain.org/ has a number of links where this can be done I tested myself yesterday morning when I was tired and took the same test today when I am not tired Without giving the exact figures, I was quite amazed at the difference in my ability to think and the speed at which I could do it Its not an IQ test (mine is not 160) it just a test of how well your brain is working There were quite staggering differences in my case at least
  2. Brad, The shoes can be entered using a short hand method Just type in P13223411115676362537221111 or whatever the shoe is Add the details about the casino, time, date etc And submit, that's it, really easy Its a credit to Keith and Mike that we have such a great tool, thanks guys
  3. Great work Brad, I like it The key is including the ZZ runs Lets keep the idea alive
  4. Good question Oz For me I flat bet until I am up 10 units, then maybe play a 1/2 loop, no more IF the wins are coming easy (I track my Win / Loss sequence) However I am now playing TIES quite successfully (thanks CT70), and so I do balance my Player / Banker bets with tie bets It depends on the minimum table bet, but on a $50 table the minimum tie bet is $25 (50% of the minimum player/banker bet) On a $30 table and in stadium baccarat the minimum tie bet is only $5 (15% of the player/banker bet) So its a bit of mix and match depending on the table minimum regards Pando
  5. Here is a shoe from Singapore I that I haven't posted before (I had mislaid the scorecard) Its special because of the strong TIE and BANKER6 association BTB PPP BBB PPPP BB PPPP B PT B(B6)B PPPT (B6)BBB PPPP B(B6) PPP BT P (B6)T P B6 PT BT(B6) PPPP B PP B PP BB PP BBBT P You can see there is a very strong correlation between BANKER 6 (B6) hands and TIES Even when the ties occur on the player side, they are close to BANKER6 hands Sometimes the TIE occurs before the BANKER6, sometimes not In this shoe the vast majority of the ties (6 from 8) were on the first line, only 2 were not CT70 posted a good summary about playing ties If you havent read it I suggest you do, and remember his ideas in association with this post regards Pando
  6. I think it depends how you are playing If you are playing a negative progression you need more units If you flat betting you need fewer units I use 20 maximum and that's usually more than enough
  7. Sounds like a perfect scenario Mega shopping for the other half, and mega baccarat for Oz
  8. Hi Oz Yes I learned we are not machines - get tired, go home (from now on)
  9. Day 7 and 8: This was the weekend before and left and I decided to take a little time out for socialising and enjoying Singapore with my girlfriend But we also went to Marina Bay Sands, the bigger of the two Singapore Casinos Just for comparison, here are some Rapid Baccarat shoes from Marina Bay, again these are constantly shuffled in an automatic shuffler - they SHOULD be similar to RWS B3611211321124115211911156316 P13222121531114171115313111142 P11111211134441313314111144314151 B111521312121329121114244511224 P21432312132213273112321211312351 P7111313211112111123121222111431161 (14 ties in this shoe) P111125111123122118121114324142211 P12112214211111231272515135141222111 P11241237364612111417315112 P13312211321244332132218132222 B44211311115314112122111115122441111 B415111255231141223132114222111511 P131121312442612111121212112111174121 P4127111112121313241112321111312212122212 That's it folks, lets know if you have any questions regards Pando
  10. Day 1: My trip started with a 10-1/2 hour flight from Auckland to Singapore (direct) on Singapore Airlines. The aircraft was a Boeing 777-300ER (if its not Boeing I aint going). Believe me that if you are traveling in this part of the world, Singapore Airlines are simply the best. Despite my wonderful flight and service in every respect, I was still tired so didn't make it to the casino that day but I contacted Zeckam to arrange to meet the next day Day 2: Fully refreshed, I meet Zeckam and we discuss general play over lunch. Having spoken to him and made my own observations, I play the $25 (autoshuffled) shoes. P214111112312413214141231212231221124 (observations only) P521221212437114223121221133 (In the first banker 4IAR - there were 4 ties within 3 hands) Came in late + 4u P1322512322331122121142121112111112 (Nice bunch of multiples early in the shoe) Came in late + 2u B245221211421211(10)2311312111112 (A banker shoe,) +4u At this stage I get my head around Super 6 and looking back I can see I would have made some winning bets in the last shoe. Day 3: Fairly happy with some good calls yesterday, and now I understand the Super 6 option; B21141121123431212411111111122614411 (low 3's but good run of opposites) +4u P6314111111223114141213114114141211212 (nice run of opposites) Came in late +3u P622341121141211112111121121515112 (Low 3's, good run of opposites and a couple of 2's mid shoe) +7u B13121111111214214721411531111111113 (Nice player runs, plus good run of opposites. Won a tie bet late in the shoe) +10u Day 4: I feel I am finding my feet now, very happy with yesterday P11123322111411311514111121111212225211 (Note the runs of opposites) Came in late finished even P11224321244431353331215114 (Vey low 1's, only one player single) Came in late +4u B3112311212152113111111111111451132111111 (Lovely shoe, very high 1's (28 of them). +11u B13132413111211121112121117212 (Clump of multiples at the start, lots of 1's and 2's then a 7IAR) Came in late +2u Day 5: Still feeling in control, decided to press on and play a few more shoes today B4353211111211311112113241221233 (15 ties including 3 double ties in this shoe, and high 3's) +5u B141131422113422111121111111221141312122121 (Note the high 1's) Came in late finished even B16112411111111124113111121221121315113121 (came in late, missed the run of opposites) -1u B11314311112121221113121411122111131227 (Plenty of opposites, nice 7IAR at the end) +7u P512121621712352211332414 (Loved this shoe, starts with a 5IAR and never let up) +7u P1243221141122122111326331444 (Low 1's, high 4IAR+'s) Got this totally wrong somehow, maybe too many shoes -9u
  11. Hi everyone I have just spent the past 12 days in Singapore and I would like to share my experience in the hope that we may all learn a little from it. Firstly it was my pleasure to meet up with BTC Member Zeckam. We arranged to meet and play at Resort World Sentosa, one of the two casinos in Singapore. Zeckam kindly passed on a number of important observations to me before I started playing and they were exactly correct He told me that many of the shoes were one sided, that they often have high 2's late in the shoe, and that the shoes are often very streaky. This all proved to be exactly correct. I have never played baccarat at this casino, so I was very cautious and spent quite a while observing and watching the shoes. I need to know how the shoes were prepared, and the house rules. It soon became clear that what I am used to playing at home was not what I was seeing here. Firstly, the casino has a selection of touch games ($25 and $50 minimum) and other tables where the players turn the cards which start at $100 minimum. My observation was that the $100 games were what I have seen before, but the $25 and $50 shoes were quite different. I found out that the $25 and $50 shoes start their lives as pre-shuffled Angel cards from Japan. Before dealing they are put through an automatic shuffler, and the cards are shuffled after every game for the next 2 days, at which time they are replaced. The $100 games are dealt from the shoe as it arrives from the factory. I tracked some shoes and then re-tracked them when they were dealt again. Believe me, they were thoroughly shuffled. The house rules were slightly different too. Players are allowed to cap other players bets with a half bet on the $50 shoes, I have not seen this before. There is also another betting option which I had not seen before, its called Super 6. In this bet you may bet on the Super 6 (which applies to Banker only) although it is a separate bet The idea is that if you play Super 6, and the bet wins, you get paid 12:1 if the banker gets a 2 card 6, and 20:1 if the banker gets a 3 card 6 - but the banker must win the hand. CT70 has already told us about tie bets and where they occur (if you haven't read this on the forum I suggest you do) - I quickly noted a high correlation between tie hands and winning banker 6 hands. That was a very rewarding way to play in the right shoes. Most of the local players make this bet a lot, and if the shoe has high ties, then a casual $25 or $50 bet for those odds makes good sense. Most of them played the same amount on ties and Super 6 when the shoe had high ties and banker was dominating the shoe. Wins of $1000 for a $50 bet was reasonably common. Importantly, the ties were often very clumped, so there were clumps of ties and Super 6 wins when banker runs were occurring. In any case I thoroughly enjoyed being at Resort World Sentosa and meeting Zeckam helped me a great deal, thanks mate and thanks for the lunches too. In my next post I will post some shoes I played with some of my betting logic. regards Pando
  12. Hi Wolfat Did you make it to Macau, I would be interested in your observations cheers Pando
  13. That's a good lesson for everyone Oz and everyone can learn from it Enjoy your vino Oz, Pinot Noir is it?
  14. Great video Keith, thanks Its good to be able to put some faces to the names we see on the forum
  15. Yes I agree trbfla There are so many wonderful players on this forum, strength in numbers Long may it continue
  16. A great feature of StatsforProfits is that a shoe can be re-played hand by hand So rather than seeing the whole shoe, you can retrieve each hand as you would do in a casino I find that very beneficial to practice as you and CT70 suggest.
  17. Quote from Oz If you have access to the Private Forum, I will try and find time to list all the events that I'm noting before I make each decision to bet, but not out here in the Public Arena. Oz, Thank you for the offer to put that information in the Private Forum. I for one would really appreciate such a valuable contribution regards Pando
  18. Nice post McVince, thanks You explained there why I chart Player and Banker separately in my betting records I use E's scorecard to record the whole shoe and my (+ or -) unit score, but on the back of the card I write Player and Banker separately Its extremely useful to do this and I see a lot of plays I may not always see in the record of the whole shoe Thanks McVince Pando
  19. That's good advice Keith The Private Forum has the best information, more than anyone could have imagined
  20. I cant make it (all the way from NZ) this time, but maybe next year I have already committed to be playing in Singapore in May
