BigVic Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 Keith,Does the seminar price of $99.95 dollars include a recorded copy of the meeting with both video and audio?Only the gotomeeting organizer can record the meeting. But once you do, you can make it available to the attendees for later viewing. Was that the plan?(BTW, believe or not I have no problem paying for this, as long as I can view a recording of it later. What say you?) Quote
Keith Smith Posted April 24, 2012 Author Report Posted April 24, 2012 I don't want to commit and say yes it does but if I can do it I will certainly give a copy of the audio/video to those folks who attend. I am reading the support forums from gotomeeting/go to training and they say that you can't yet record the video of the live video feed, just the shared desktop and audio. In addition I will probably host on my mac rather than my windows laptop which again there isn't as many recording options.Between now and then I will do a few free ones as introductory promotional ones and I will be better informed a bit later.RegardsKeith Quote
BigVic Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 That's a good idea. Maybe you could do a quick free 15 minute intro meeting so both you and the rest of us could test the whole thing out. After that test then you would know if your recording worked or not. What do you think about that? Of course the sooner you could do that the better. It might make people's mind up as well for the full meeting. Quote

Sir Donald Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Ellis & Keith,If I may make a suggestion.........why don't you guys make the Net Bet training Webinar, ULTRA exciting by introducing the ( never discussed before on BTC forum ) Low vs High side NB technique........an advanced form of NB that automatically follows the shoe at hand, with little input from the player, and WINS every bet in all straight and ZZ runs. This can offered with other forms of NB, as well.If you offer this at the Webinar and later transcribe the event, it would make a very marketable manual for sale to new members. Thanks for listening.Don Quote
BigVic Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 How did the test training go? Were you able to record the session Keith? Quote

Users Jim Files Posted April 28, 2012 Users Report Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) So is the webinar going to be recorded and be given to the participants or not?I would really like to know what will be covered in the webinaire and I'm sure everyone else would like to know as well. Please give us an overview of what will be covered or what new information we might get out of the webinaire.Hmmm, did I repeat myself, I guess it's because I would like to know how we can benefit from the webinaire. Is Ellis going to discuss the newest PvB vs OvR and how to combine the two systems to really knock the casinos out?I sure hope so.Thanks & Best Regards,Jim Edited April 28, 2012 by Keith Smith Quote
Keith Smith Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 Hi Jim,Goto training interface records the voice and screen shots if I do it on a pc I tested it on a mac for the better video and audio. I am mostly concerned with the Live presentation and everyone being able to hear and see in real time as my MAC is better at that. If you are more interested in a recording of the audio and screen shots afterwards I can do a test on the PC to insure I get similiar results and it does offer the recording session then; however with that said I would prefer not to have to worry about recording it have Ellis and me concentrate on the live content rather than if a recording is going to come out properly and have folks then say well you said you were going to give us a copy. I would prefer to leave it as if I can get a reasonable copy I will offer the attenedess one this is a bonus and not the primary purpose of the webinar. I will set up a seperate video camera and record it and you are free to record it also on your end with a recording device. I am not planning on reselling the seminar afterwards as a recording. It is a live event in real time take notes and listen The interface allows for the down load of examples and files so I am concentrating on the hard content for the presentation. The outline for NOR will have a concentration on the NET BET concepts and examples. Of course we will reveiw SAP and let any question direct the flow of the seminar. Of course the nice thing is that we will have real time interaction and feedback. In addition you can send the presentor examples via the interface to ask questions.RegardsKeith Quote
Keith Smith Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 I am trying to accomodate what folks ask for a webinar. Again as we get better at this we can add that option but my main focus needs to be in presenting the seminar. When we do one live the biggest pain in the ass is trying to get a good tape. I am not a videographer so if you want a copy simply turn on your recorder to grab the voice. When you go to a seminar very few say and at the end were going to give you a copy of it for your viewing later, if they do they charge for it. I thought we wanted a simple cheaper way to get to a seminar? Here it is now we want a digital copy of it too, if I can accomodate the request I will, I will record it as best I can and offer it to you for download if you attend. This is a bonus and not something I am going to spend a lot of time tweaking. I want the live content to come out good. I cannot afford to pay for someone to be in charge of the video taping and then editing it and keep the price low. I will set up a camera and record it. GoToTraining doesn't auto record with a MAc. I want to do it on a Mac the presentation comes out better with the audio and video. So the answer is yes I will record it but on a video recorder in a raw file. You can have acopy if you attened the seminar. It will be a raw file unedited. You may record it from your end for future reference for your own personal use. In the future I will work for a professional quality recording of the seminars and offer if that is something that everyone is a must have from Voice of the customer perspective. Thanks for your feedback and I hope to see you at the seminars. DOn't forget we are doing Blackjack and also NOR Net Betting. NOR players don't forget about the Blackjack option!! BJ is smokin hot right now and I always made more money playing BJ than NOR. BTW in AC some of you saw me playing the game where they took out the 4 tens per deck game. I simply played dealer strategy with a negative progression. I made two stacks in less than 30 minutes as I think Jim and Ellis were watching. Quote
Keith Smith Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 HI Sir Doald yea it is a great suggestions. We will be covering those topics in the seminar but the recording aspect of it will be challenging as I have the best audio and video equipment on a mac and gototraining doesnt record from a mac. In addition, from experience now I have learned that we need to do a few of them 1st, get the flow down and then record. As I promised, I will record the seminar ina raw form and offer it to those who join the seminar. In the future I will be offering a video of seminars I just need to get some experience at it first so that the product is presented in a professioanl manner.RegardsKEith Quote

TomM Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 Just got back home guys but will pretty much be out of commission for a few days. Now I know how Roy Rogers feels after having been shot in the shoulder a record 472 times. As long as you are recovering and have some time away from the daily grind let me tell you a story of one of the dumbest things I said to another human being. The Roy Rogers thing brought it to mind. I was renting out the 2nd story of a house in Denver that got bought by a guy that turned out to be an ex-cop that was looking for a place to live in while his life transitioned from former cop to working at a funeral parlor and an artist by night. I didn't know it at the time but he was looking to flip the house. It just so happened I had started a painting business out of pure necessity, not exactly love for the game. It paid the bills. So the first real conversation I had with the guy was about painting the house. The paint was in good shape and had just been pressure washed by the previous owner so he seeing my paint van he asked me if I would like to do the job and how much. After a survey of the job and having a painful memory of under bidding a similar older Victorian that's skin was in very bad shape I figured I would be done in less then 8 hours by myself taping and blowing one coat of premium paint with an airless. He wanted to do all the trim and gingerbread painting himself so perfect for me as I liked to blow down new construction with the airless and not mess with trim work. So I told him I'd do it for a months rent. From start to finish took me 8 hours or so. Anyway it was done that Saturday. I guess he was thinking I screwed myself doing it for a months rent probably because most homeowners were still hand brushing in those days. I don't remember what rent was exactly back then but I figured I could do it myself in day and it would be like 25 to 30 bucks and hour in 1973 dollars if I didn't fall off the ladder. So I'm cleaning up my airless and throwing it in the back of my van and he is impressed with how good it looked. By the time I had all my crap stowed away I walked in and he invited me in for a drink. He had a liter of Wild Turkey that already had a fairly sizable dent in it. After a couple belts he told me some cop stories and eventually got around to why he quit the force. Turns out he got shot with a 22 cal. that hit him in the clavicle bone and ricocheted out his back. The dumb line from me was " Did it hurt ? ". Anyway he kind of gave me a WTF look and went on to say it hurt like hell, and I could read in his body language that he was baffled by my response, so before he could say another word I said "Sorry man never been shot before ". It got weirder as the night lingered on, but not before he broke out his stash of some premium weed. Up until that time in my life I did not go looking for cops to hang out with. Most of the time it was trying not to get pulled over. This whole encounter with an ex-cop was a newbie for me. He did have some great cop stories, and we became friends for years to come. Anyway that's my dumb cop question story. Hope you can get back on your horse before long. Everybody should be able to get shot in the shoulder 472 times and come back singing “Back in the saddle againâ€. Quote
Guest Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 Well, for the medical enthusiasts my doctor sent me to a top Cardiologist because she found that she could not reproduce the normal diabetic nerve pain in my legs with her prodding and poking that I felt when trying to keep up in airports. She thereby realized that it wasn't normal diabetic nerve pain as she had initially thought, but more likely a blood flow problem. The EKG demontrated that my heart was paying no attention to my natural Pacemaker and my heart was beating a constant 40 times per minute regardless of exertion. So I was't getting the extra blood to my legs as called for by fast walking between gates. So I simply couldn't walk faster than a crawl and couldn't even to that long enough to get to gates in time. This condition was getting worse at an alarming rate and I was quickly becoming crippled. So they checked my heart rate after implanting an artificial pacemaker and it showed an increase in heart rate of 58 already under no exertion. My body likely has't felt a heart rate of even 58 in years and my legs already feel much better. They tell me I won't be seeing the full benefit of the implant for two months so I still have much to look forward to. So I told my girlfriend Ann who stayed at my side the whole time that you know, pacemakers make ya horney. But somehow she failed to see the humor in it. Keith said it's too bad they haven't invented like a button you could push whenever you need a little added incentive. I think Ann is getting a little scared. Ha, Back in the saddle again. Quote
Guest Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 We should have this Cardiologist do our sales pitches for us. He brought the EKG plot to me and showed me what was wrong. He said, by law he could not let me go anywhere except straight to a hospital bed. But also by law I could leave if I wanted to. But, he said, I doubt if you'll even make it home. Now there's a sales pitch! Quote
