Guest
I have gotten so many players from Chicago at my seminars that I decided to create a thread just for those in Chicago who are NOR and MDB members... Maurice--- who is a champion player--- said he would help kick it off....So all you Chicago players--- now you can network and meet other BTC members to play with and exchange ideas...GO Windy City!!!! mtman
Hi guys,Just wanted to know if anyone in the Chicago-Milwaukee area has had any success playing the new MDB system? I would assume that Rivers and Horseshoe would be the best to play it... I am currently thinking about joining the MDB forum. Thanks,Mtman
mtman
Hi guys,Well it's been about 6 months since I last asked the question,...Anybody in the Chicagoland area playing MDB+, and if so how have things been going so far? I was at Horseshoe Casino last week and was talking to a dealer and he seems to think that the cards are factory pre shuffled... I noticed that they come to the table in what looked to be a pre-packaged box shoe of cards, not the regular 8 deck boxes. I will try to find out more next time I go, but if the touch games there are using the factory cards, then I think it's time to jump aboard the MDB train. I know that Potowatomie and Rivers use regular cards so that is why i have held off joining since they are where I go the most. But if I could play MDB down at Horseshoe then I think the hour and a half drive would be well worth it.I noticed Rich and Xing are now MDB members... Are you guys using that system in the area successfully? Thanks,Mtman
Rich333
Mtman, Actually I have been doing some netbetting up at Four Winds of late with good success I hope to get over to Horseshoe tonight or tomorrow.
mtman
Thanks for the response Rich....glad to hear of your success at Fourwinds. I almost went over there yesterday, but ended up going to Horseshoe instead and got beat up a little. Hopefully you have better luck. I'm thinking that those cards at Horseshoe are better for MDB rather than NOR...let me know what you observed and think.

mtman
Hi Kevin, hope you are well!I really do appreciate all the conversations we have had over the phone, but sure wish I would have met you here before you moved away!I was just at Potowatomie last night....was up, then down. Moved over to the $25 table for a new shoe start and killed it with S40...so got my losses back and walked out with a few bucks more than when I came in. everyone else was losing at the table but I sailed right thru with my BTC training thank goodness. But so many times lately I have been seeing these shoes out here change on a dime, so yes I appreciate your offer for some guidance because for some reason I am having a hard time being a consistent winner. Oh well, I am sure we can get that fixed. I was hoping to hear some sort of succes with MDB out here in the Chicago area, but no such luck yet. Take care and I'll be talking to you soon Kevin! maulding
Also looking to meet up and compare NOR or MDB notes sometime. I'm in Naperville and play at Harrah's Joliet pretty regularly. Also occasionally make it to Rivers and Grand Victoria. Looking to check out NW Indiana soon, but haven't been there yet. If somebody wants to set up a time to play, shoot me a text at 630-696-8812. If you want to meet at Harrah's, I'll buy dinner. Got some comps going there. :-) I'm an MDB member, but haven't plunged into that yet. Still working on NOR.Jason
douglasb53
Count me in. Looking forward to meeting up in Chicago. I live in Bloomington. We visit both Joliet casinos as they are just over 1 hour away , but would be fine meeting anywhere. It actually would nice to check out some of the other casinos. I am a NOR and MDB member but am just learning and have limited live play. Are there anymore members down my way? Peoria? Paradice in peoria has one table that doesn't open until around 8pm. People start showing up much later. That sucks! Doug 309-838-0589

Users ECD Posted September 26, 2015 Users Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 It was nice to meet you W2F!I played a little but at Rivers Thursday night and Friday night. Met up with ArkSobo -- always great to meet another knowledgeable BTC and baccarat player. On Thursday I mostly walked around and observed tote boards. Rivers only has the old vertical tote boards where you can see only about the last 20 hands. But I did observe that MDB+ would have done well at these tables. ArkSobo confirmed that Rivers uses regular cards in 8 separate boxes, mixed at the table. They use alternating decks with auto shuffler for min-bac, and also have a few touch tables. I also noticed that most games running were either player or banker dominant -- like by a lot. So sat down at a couple tables and just played the dominant side, winning 8 units and 10 units.Went back Friday and played a shoe with ArkSobo. I started the shoe experimenting with a neutral-based system that is not ready for prime time. It did ok for a while, getting to +3. But by hand 23 was at -4. So observing mostly 2s and 3s and no streak or chop greater than 4, I just slid into OTBL while also looking for MDB+ bets. By hand 60, the -4 had gone to +16 and I won all of the larger MDB bets. Here is the shoe we played:P1143223141132312423121291112
