  1. Just got home, and believe me, this was really, really a Home Run. --- I have to put it right up there with when I learned about " clumping" to play BlackJack a few years ago...THAT WAS UNBELEVABLE...and has paid off ever since... I won't spoil Keith's news, but let me just say it's gonna put a BIG smile on your face... Always great to meet a bunch of fellow BTC members, and in a few short hours we covered a whole lot of " good stuff"... Met up with 5 of the seminar participants at the Gold Coast later this evening, and everyone was winning... Stay tuned... ( and find out WHY, and HOW...)
  2. Hoping JCS drives up for free seminar next weekend! Gonna be " As good as it gets" Kevin
  3. To me, F can be either single strong- side, like P5241624 Or, it can be both sides lots of " repeats.." Like P54453346 Not so sure about the modes for F, are they really meaningful, as likely would have to switch a lot of times in the same " sequence" Mostly Keith , appreciate your input as we need all BTC long-term players to weigh-in on their experiences so we produce the best resulting Cheat Sheet...
  4. Somebody's ears must have been burning.. Played a shoe at Red Rock this evening... 6...count'em 6 ....3-card Banker 7's ( 40-1 dragon) in first 39 hands Most I have ever seen in one shoe. Even more " amazing", 4 of them were by a score B7,P6...including Back-to-back 2 dragons IAR Most fun thing was after 2 Dragons in first 13 hands, I convinced woman playing next to me to make a Banker Dragon bet every single hand thereafter...she won all four of the others! ( oh, I should tell you she bets Banker pretty much every hand...) Strange, I know...but look for those 7's and 6's coming out in bunches... I do not advocate rampant play on Ties or Dragons...in fact I would argue against doing same... But tonite? just sayin' At least might warrant an honorable mention on our Cheat Sheet ( Now,if I could just translate that into improving my golf game...3 chances of THAT happening...slim, fat, and none) But Rubee's got us covered on the bases... Hmmmn...things are definitely looking up here... Good luck to you all, wherever you play. Kevin
  5. Hey, Brad NOT espousing we make our living off of TIES... But AM saying that we put our heads together, we are much better than solitary... I appreciate you, and knowing you will be helpful to THE CAUSE...which is simply to put in one place all the systems, Betting progressions, tricks-of-the-trade, etc...and on a baccarat sized card you can take with you to the casino...or, as CT70 prefers, on his smart phone... Not trying to create a play-by-play manual. Somebody else will do a far better job at that than we might... But..a Baccarat Cheat Sheet? For the game already has the best odds in the casino? Now we're talking something real, real valuable... Kevin
  6. So this one might throw you for a loop... Very, very few people know this, but now you will... Just like in Craps, where after the 2-die total of 7, 6 and 8 are the most common result....wellllllllllllllll, In Baccarat, more than half of the ties are 6-6, and 7-7 Yup, read that again... A majority of the ties are 6-6 and 7-7 And having played the game pretty much, (like a whole bunch?), pay close attention and sometimes you will see this for Banker/Player results ( in Sequence) B/P 6/9,8/7,3/7,6/4,7/5...( take a look, you'll see...) All those 6's and 7's...hmmmn, whatsoever should I do? Guess what.... THAT is when you start " predicting" ties, THAT is when you bet on the BANKER 3-card 7 Just sayin' ... Maybe, just maybe , you didn't know that... Shhhhhhhh! (We'll add it to our Cheat Sheet..) Just don't tell anyone...HA!
  7. People show up early to claim a seat for the day's action ... Really, pretty much like sitting at a slot machine...low , low betting limits...not sure of Max ..but yes, I tried MDB there..and the dealers ( about 20 feet away, each one dealing two shoes) served it up that day... Best I could tell, they were alive and knew the rules... ( you can go up and talk to them...just there is no table to sit at...just your 'gaming kiosk'....you and about 25 others who are sitting at the kiosks around you!) Play 4 games at once...or just one...sit there a long, long time...make a bet here and there.... And those free drinks? Yup...they keep 'em coming...and just like all the rest of the casinos, those are the most expensive FREE DRINKS on the planet. ( Unless you know which KoolAid is the flavor of the day...)
  8. LOU Wow! This is what we get when we put our minds together!!! Thank you so much for participating...I cannot do this alone...
  9. Only Dr. Foley knows these answers...( like I'm Sherlock, and he's the good Dr. Watson) Long time member of BTC, he invited me to have a look at this game. Interesting way to play, to say the least. Perhaps he'll comment on playing this LIVE DEALER, gaming technology and how he thinks it will eventually reach us all... Right, Duracell?
  10. Hey, Mike Understand the caregiver role well...More important than Baccarat on its best day... Google The words " Venetian Stadium Baccarat" and have a look at the future... Now where do you put THAT on the list? HA!
  11. Good input, CT! ( we don't want to get " grilled", or " barbecued"...even if they call it The Hustler casino...)
  12. Of everyone who regularly contributes, Brad01 would make Carly Simon proud ( NobodyDoesItBetter), or for you James Bond lovers..the theme song of THE SPY WHO LOVED ME movie... The " cheat sheet" concept WILL NOT TEACH YOU NOR, 4D, MDB, SAP, betting progressions, etc. That is the " job " of the forum...frankly, if you don't know this stuff, the " cheat sheet" might do you no good...Steve S. , and Keith, are responsible for manuals, refresher courses, bootcamps, videos, etc...THEY the go-to guys for that stuff... BUT: Have you ever walked into a grocery store with a " list of items" to buy, and after paying and walking out, you say to yourself..." Oh, I forgot this, I forgot that."? ( that's why you make a list...) Have you ever had a meeting with your Boss-man, ready to ask for that raise, only to forget a few well- rehearsed " why give me a raise" points, and afterwords you are kicking yourself for forgetting? ( that's why you rehearse in the first place, even to the extent of making note-cards...) Have you ever met somebody you really want to connect-with again, only to misplace their phone #? ( that's why you write the number on your hand in indelible ink...) OK, enough of the analogies, KA! Yet, these are real world things we all wish we could improve upon... You folks get what I am talking about... So, you want to never, ever forget the many " strategies" you need to have at your fingertips to truly BTC @ Baccarat?? Well, help me with the cheat-sheet concept, and you won't... And promised, a HUGE RETURN on your investment of a little bit of time helping me+you, help others less experienced...( and helping YOU in the process!)
  13. This is exactly what I mean...people like LJ getting involved and we " slice and dice" the rules into a format...a modified BTC CODE , if you will of " reminders" how to play, what to look for in a given game..." Sounds easier than it might be, to reach a simplified format which could be printed out and simply taken into the casino for use at the table... And I'm sure some people will worry that the evil casino police will get a hold of it and use it against us, right? Ha! You think they don't already know this stuff? Maybe they call it something else...maybe they have their own " codes", but doesn't it ever surprise you how few baccarat dealers actually have any idea of how to actually play the game, other than to say " look at the tote board, it's a guessing game"? For NOR, maybe something real simple like : P/B 11111211 S40 P/B 12223222 OTBL P/B 435424. F Add a simple, shorthand version of explanation of modes ? The simpler, the better...
  14. (Or, For you ladies, the best looking guy) We're all aware that a certain someone is writing THE LAST TESTAMENT of baccarat. And perhaps it will become the next best thing to the HOLY GRAIL that , up until now, never existed.... But like U2 says, with or without you... We talk in circles about this MDB rule, that NOR mode, this SAP, there's a SAP, everywhere a SAP/SAP.. So why doesn't BTC have a baccarat-card-sized "cheat sheet" we could carry into any casino, and refer to as often as we want, during a game? All the right MDB " triggers" NOR made simple. SAP. 4D EZ S40, OTBL, etc. for dummies Predicting Ties. Predicting Dragons. Progressions 1-2-4, 1-2-2, 1-3-2-6, etc Bring the card to the casino. Refer to it often Win. Things change, we change/update the info. Am I asking too much? Would you dare to admit you have never thought of this, just didn't know how to git'er'done? Hey, we get out of this what we put into it. I'll make the card, you all help me with the input. "Tommy, can you hear me?" Look, boys and girls, this is not tiddlywinks. This is real money, and likely many, many among us will be all over that other "baccarat how to" .....and for all of our sakes, it will add to the collective universe of baccarat knowledge. But for now, YOU have paid the price of admission to BTC, which is where we are at right this moment, and we owe it to ourselves to maximize our " collective ROI", the tuition we've paid. Certainly, like I have ( and will) you are free to invest in any and all other " casino investment strategies" which have, or may come along...especially those which you believe will benefit you personally and financially. Look, less than 50 years from now it's dust-to-dust for just about everyone on the forum...and for those who used to be. In the meantime, there's money to be made from simply summarizing in one place what you've already paid for access to!! Let's WORK TOGETHER NOW to do something that's never been done... Call it " the best damn baccarat cheat sheet ever" ( or what-ever!)...it's NOT a manual, It'll be the size of a Baccarat card... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ( the size of a baccarat card?) Y.E.S. All made possible because of what you've already paid for on this forum, it's archives, and other " public information" that's already out there in the baccarat universe... ( it's not cheating...it's just the brightest minds ever played the game actually collaborated on something for their mutual benefit...) Kind of like that little card you purchase for Blackjack Basic Strategy in the casino gift shop for $1.99 Only this one will be far more comprehensive, and we can update it as we want... Am I missing something, Keith? Do you still want this forum to be called BEATTHECASINO? Or? Since you , Keith will be needed to help make this all possible, I'll leave it up to you... YAY. or NAY. It's your call. And if you decide NAY, so be it. ( But now that it's out of the closet, somebody's gonna' do it...sooner, rather than later...) Just saying.
  15. Maxxy seems well on his way to the promised land.. These numbers are very close to accurate, but MAXMILLION has no way to quantify: How things change time of day ( how many tables open, min/max by day/time-of-day, available # of free hands, etc) Touch versus no touch games. Table limits..min/max ( could affect your quest for $1 Very Large...) Hi limit rooms, versus main floor. No table deals " the same game" ( NOR, MDB, etc consistently/all the time) BUT, It's an easy workaround... Most all casinos are pre-shuffled, 8 deck But the similarities end there... ( as described above) I have found best is to pick a casino where table limits, environment, number of players, time of day, etc. etc. fit your game the best You Can't play them all in even several months! BUT, You can be selective...play the best for YOU. Come to Vegas. Call me... I'll not only help you, I'll go with you. ( and you want me to leave, I'll do that, too!) Great job by Maxxy posting...make sure you all keep a copy for your records! Kevin
  16. Think the WolfMan is saying this... " sometimes, after careful observation and tracking of a players W/L " trends", an experienced player will climb further out on the limb of his Money Management Tree, and make calculated, larger than normal progressive , sequential bets as they feel the cumulative risk vs. potential reward is now more favorably balanced in their favor" ( Naturally, a player's decision to do this could be wrong...or they could be right, resulting in a favorable addition of bankroll to the player's chip count...) So even if this is NOT what Wolfat is saying... No doubt that part of winning is definitely " subjective" and cannot be accounted for by rigid, never deviate positive/negative progression " rules" This advice, with which I agree, is best reserved for truly experienced players, and must be evaluated in the context of one's game, session and lifetime bankroll metrics. ( In other words, the more money one has, the more they are prone to identify " strategic" betting opportunities, as opposed to strictly adhering to finite MM " rules") ( Conversely, until such point as a player has reached a level where they can afford such risk, they are best to stick to strict MM rules) In Country Western parlance, this means never bet an amount which would: 1) Cause the truck to be repossessed. 2) Result in the dog going hungry. Or 3) Give the wife a ( good) reason to leave...( WARNING: She may already have others...) Just my opinion. Woof!!
  17. O Trillion- Took a quick look through some 4-5 year old cards, all played live B4 the advent of preshuffled...YES, I think it looks just as valid, especially so long as you use a progression. Random events are just that...RANDOM ( but you can still detect biases in parts of the shoe...) Biased shoes are just that...BIASED ( but you will often spot good MDB betting ops in parts of that shoe) And even with ShuffleMaster technocrats figuring out what to dish up for tonight's baccarat dinner, I still find NOR and MDB ops ( both of them) in many shoes. Good luck and hope this helps...as soon as I can get my laptop back from The Geek Squad, I'll show you how to play BOTH in the same shoe...
  18. Last night, while I was playing, I turned around and noticed my casino host standing behind me..the table was pretty full, so while I knew someone was " back there" , I had no idea who it was until I turned around..... Seriously, I do not play big $$ every hand, so I really don't get much attention, except for the fact that everyone wants to know WTF I am writing down after each hand! But a few things I do will never, ever get me kicked out of a casino. 1) I am never afraid to play alone. in fact, I prefer it. 2) I am very talkative when I play. I ask the dealer, the pit boss and others playing about their children, what they do in their time off, etc...it is NOT the discussion of somebody trying to take advantage 3) I engage the dealer by tipping them extremely well, and often....Look at it this way...pretend you are sitting in the dealer's chair, making $xx/ year, watching people from all walks of life come up and squander small fortunes right in front of you...and come back and do it again...or, they win small fortunes and boast about it...perhaps in a language you do not understand...How would you feel?? So while I know they share the tip $$, what's the big deal if I place a side wager for $10 or $20 ( sometimes much more)'next to my $200 or $500 wager? I win, and that $10 gets them $20...I lose, and instead of losing $200, I lost $210...most definitely not going to hurt me ...but, I guarantee you that now they know you are a respectful, honest, caring person....and while they cannot influence the cards coming out of the shoe, believe me they will be rooting for you to win....and when you create good karma, it follows you... 4) Fist bumps, high 5's and even me jumping up mid-shoe and giving a player a quick shoulder -massage. Shows everyone I want them to win, just as much as I do...remember, you are not playing against anyone, including the dealer, you are just playing against yourself, and your ability to. Decide judiciously how much to bet, and when....show a little kindness, and you will be well liked and respected by virtually everyone...and that will give you confidence and courage to play at the top of your game. 5)No matter what, win or lose, leave the table quietly, and with dignity. Don't curse if you've lost, don't gloat if you've won. Hey, I KNOW ILL BE BACK, just like Arnold Schwartznegger says .. I'm sure others have some insider secrets, but don't worry about getting banned...it is much, much tougher than it might seem!!! Oh, and that part about the casino host? I got up , gave her a big hug, and we chatted briefly...holding up the game in the process...not sure what everyone else thought...not sure they cared...but Everyone knew she was with the casino...and win or lose, I want as many of the casino staff on my side as I can get! ( yes, I do understand what their job is...and I do understand my job is different...but, we can all " win") Really? Yeah, really.
  19. Brad01 You have been an immense asset to the forum, especially helping out the newbies, roulette commentary, posting on virtually every thread far-and-wide! Back at it, and the last thing you'll ever see me do is tell someone how to play a shoe that has already been played. The problem is, you show anyone here on the forum a whole shoe, and ask them how they WOULD HAVE PLAYED IT, and you'll get a whole lot of different answers. Nothing compares to sitting in the hot seat, betting real $$ ( oh, dare I say YourMoney?), at casino speed ( or your own) Way2 and N9 are GREAT players, but you're not offering up a fair fight... What is their bankroll? What progression? What hand will they start at? Would they leave mid-shoe? Etc. Etc. With what I saw from Keith earlier this evening ( THE VID), I think we are really on the right track... I'll bow out with this shoe from the REdRock this evening...played LIVE, as soon as I drove back into town B2111311111255111511111615111411131313111 1 tie TBL, Yowzah. Played with a man named Michael Godard...check him out on the web...incredible artist...tats and all.... Check him out!
  20. Way2 will watch the video, and comment. I Was shocked Keith put it so simply. So did you. The Keithster has shown us ( as never before EZ to understand/implement) just how powerful this site can be as a tool to BTC players. Never. Ever . Before. Thing about MDB is it just closes the gap that NOR or 4D does not. You get all 3 in your arse(nal) And you will be in the top 99.99 % of all players Singapore to Montreal, Bahamas to Monte Carlo, Atlantic City to Macau. Throw in Vegas, and you can go all-in.
  21. I am on vacation down in Lake Havasu AZ with boat, friends and a substantial bankroll to fund food&beverage for a month... ( too bad I am only staying a few more days) Before I left, my laptop " froze up" and had to give it to the Geek Squad to work their magic... This has my 4 D stuff, and preliminary ruminations on 5D saved as Word documents...iPad and iPhone just not there yet. Will respond soonest. In the meantime, I have to comment this town likely would benefit from a fabric store, as it seems that many " Jeune filles" here cannot find adequate of same for their activities on the water, on the beach, at the pool or the tiki bar. I'm not complaining, and likely the local authorities would not listen anyways... (More importantly, how do you become a local authority here ???) Yeah, lots of PB, OR, Etc here. But mostly oh-oh, TT occurrences.... Have a nice week.
  22. Sorry for 5D delay Computer hard drive crash forced me to take to Freaks&Greeks@ Best Buy My laptop has all 4D files saved as Microsoft Word docx.....not on my IPad/IPhone... Will update soonest, but again, I reiterate, if I have sent you the 4D rules, just look along the top line of the scorecard and you will spot the MDB betting opportunities. Off to Lake Havasu today for 4day weekend...
  23. No way to know, but I sincerely hope Hammy did not end up on the receiving end of a Louisville Slugger, whether wood or aluminum...honestly think he was just trying to evaluate the merits of the forum, albeit in a way which got a lot of us " riled up" No need for complicated NBJ rules, regs...or even WCBJ in this simple scenario Best is you sit at First Base, or Third as Plan B Get yourself a Basic Strategy card, and when it's " on" , switch to CLUMPING as your play of choice... Think you know my intent is NOT to get involved in teaching, but it's all right here in this BJ Forum. Yea just gotta do the work. ( Ouch!) Anybody wants to call me to discuss, 850-687-3128 Kevin
  24. Did not want to start a new thread, and wasn't sure where to post this update... I just wanted to tell anyone interested in making money at BJ, Double-Deck hand shuffled has been treating me very well lately! You just have to understand basic strategy, and the concept of " clumping" and you are good to go! I learned about " clumping" at one of The BTC forum's blackjack seminars several years ago, and anyone wants to brush up on basic strategy, most casino gift shops sell a little card ( the size of a credit card) the casino will even let you bring to the table for reference! Clumping is extremely real, and relevant in this game. You can learn how to profit from it in 5 minutes, and with a little practice you will have it down pat with very little practice... Every dealer knows what it is, every casino understands that it happens, but because such a small fraction of the players have any clue, it flies right under the radar. Keith, you should most definitely offer up a seminar on this one! Good luck to all of you. Kevin
