Hey, All. I just figured-out how to amp up your learning curve/results...and it is way, way beyond what you might imagine. Not sure there is any magical formula, but over 100 shoes? -you should be AH.E.A.D. with an " accurate bet selection approach" with almost 7500 chances/100 shoes Since we don't espouse betting every single hand, even you bet 1x/shoe, you should be ahead of the game... ( if not, better get another methodology to follow...) or, in the alternative, maybe even better, is to use your experience as you go along to identify what it is about that " system" that a " workaround/fix it" could turn it into a winner... this is why this forum so valuable...plenty of tools in the toolbox to keep you far away from the woodshed...

So at the end of The Bee Gees Gold concert ( tribute band), the ushers, and waitstaff in that particular venue circulated through the crowd, and handed out drink tickets and $25 Match Play vouchers to everyone in attendance...more accurately, they handed them out in " handful amounts"... Meaning our group of 6 ended up with about 25 between us... so off to the Bar we go... Well, as luck would have it, not a single person among our group is a table games player...including my girlfriend...so I had no takers... All agreed, and after a 5-minute " strategy session" , off to the Roulette tables we went. Each member of our group had their own assignment. And armed with their $25 Match Play coupon, and the $25 I handed them, the 6 of us each played one of the single " outside " even money" bets. 1-18 19-36 Red Black Odd Even The ball was spun, the dealer shouted " NO MORE BETS!" And the die had been cast. Now, I am certain that you have already figured out the result of all of this...Barring those pesky 0/00 outcomes ( which I had explained the odds to our group) , we were going to win in total $75... Alas, outcome was between 1-18, Black and Even....3 Players got paid, 3 didn't . We retreated from the table ( quickly, as I had explained to them earlier...), I got my $150 back, and our " group party fund" was awarded the $75 net win... Because the next tribute band we'll all go see is just around the corner... A long story, and purposely so, but next time you read a post which I somehow link to a song, a children's parable, a movie or some other such thing... OK, have to tell you a good story happened last night...it's true, and I wish you were there... As a prelude, you often find I will " inter-mingle" tidbits/parts of movies, songs, childhood fairy tales, comedians, etc. into their relationship with baccarat/ casino table games , and ways to " look at the games". - Often? Pretty much every band, solo performer, musician who has ever had any success last 70 years passes through Vegas...often once a year, or if they are still around, still can draw in the crowds, they establish what is known as a " residency" , and play a few weeks, a few months, a few years at one of the many, many showrooms/ nightclubs in Las Vegas Well, since unfortunately many of them no longer " tour" , or the bands have been disbanded, at some point the party is over... EXCEPT Next up are the " tribute bands" , who do their best to emulate the style, the " look" , the vocals of the original bands, and now they go on tour and play the original band's songs,....many of them with surprising similarities to the " originals" , and some decent success. And yes, they also come to Vegas... So last several weeks, have seen Queen ( still two original members perform, Led Zeppelin tribute band , and last night The Bee Gees tribute band , who played at a casino called The Cannery, in North Las Vegas ( out near Nellis Air Force base) . What, pray-tell, does any of this have to do with casino table games??? ( Just so I don't get timed-out ...or thrown out... I'll break this into a few segments...Read the next post, and I'll tell you...)

Hey, All-phar-one, and one-phar-all Tried best I could to explain simple stop win/loss parameters end of the " webinar"... EZ to say +2/-2, or even +4/-4, something like that ( it's in the last couple of minutes of the webinar) In the beginning/starting out, I always use a couple of simple rules. 1) If you really have a bankroll of 10 units, break it into several " bankrolls"like 5/5, or 3/4/3. ( use your imagination, NOT YOUR ATM CARD) 2) If in your first " bankroll" of a few units, you get up a few units or down a few units, evaluate your " situation", and decide is a 40% win (+2 units @ 5), or -60% loss (-3 units @5) more than you can stomach? - Either start with a fresh bankroll, or decide whatever blows your dress up and you are happy, STOP THERE 3) Hoping you save all your cards, so you can really, truly " test drive" this methodology at your kitchen table, in the kind of casino conditions you face...TEST DRIVE WHATEVER YOU READ, from any source, and practice " bankroll management" from there.. EXACTLY. Our innate fear of being " challenged" by others out to show we are " wrong" , coupled with our fear of losing our bankroll, leads to Paralysis by Analysis. ( Hereafter, PBA) in other words, we often forgo betting because we are afraid of losing that bet. Here is an example I am sure you all will understand: Convinced that the Banker will win the next hand, we bet Banker. - But , it's a TIE result, so now: -roughly 1/3 of us (33%) will " hold back" from making the next bet, -roughly 1/3 (33%) will change their mind and bet Player, - and roughly 1/3 (33%) will ignore the TIE and bet Banker again Given that ties represent approximately 10% of all outcomes , naturally the next bet could result in a B, P or T " win" with about 45% chance for each of B or P, and 10% chance of a TIE So roughly 33% of all Players, who so strongly believed in Bank just one hand ago, but now make NO BET, will have foregone their " opportunity to win" that second bet. Yes, some would have won with a Banker outcome, and some would have lost with a Player outcome on that second bet, BUT THERE IS SIMPLY NO EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE that a change of strategy to bet B or P was called for, after that TIE Why is this meaningful? THE BEGININNING Even with all the tools one needs to be successful, we are all frequently caught up in " the web of inability to make a choice" PARALYSIS ( by) ANALYSIS ( as relates to Baccarat) , is essentially what a new player, an inexperienced player, even an ExperiencedPlayer(!), or just a player with a very limited bankroll is faced-with when making a decision Player or Banker (?) (1) we are playing with REAL MONEY, so naturally the tendency is to " worry over the result" (2) we are armed with innumerable stats, trends, tote boards, Systems, MM options, etc...in which case, we are OVERWHELMED with the tendency to " worry over the result" (3) we lose a few decisions in-a-row, and we are ready to TOSS EVERYTHING WE HAVE LEARNED out the back door...again, our tendency to " worry over the result" (of course, it's me, so you know I could go on-and-on...) That Said... I am suggesting you proceed as follows: (a) so you do not become a victim of PARALYSIS ( in effect, " doing nothing" ) , (b) or OVER-ANALYSIS ( in effect, trying to analyze every possible angle to such a large extent, that you decide there is no possible answer, no possible next play, no possible favorable outcome which is GUARANTEED) ,,,,,,,, Seems we need a relatively simple (and very attainable): ~ path to overcoming our fears, ~ guiding our results, ~ and making sure we profit from our decisions. Why not? Let's do just that...( starting tomorrow...for now thinking you can ponder-anticipate how YOU WOULD WRITE THE SCRIPT)
