Just IMHO, but here you go... 1) While I know how to play Craps, I rarely do, as I cannot " exert" Advantage Play to decide my outcome.. - It Is very much like Baccarat... learn " how to play ,...quickly"...BUT takes a long, long time to LEARN HOW TO WIN! - Other players may have a far different understanding/opinion/methodology to achieve it... 2) BP- so not be scared to start a shoe all by your lonesome in Baccarat....can teach you many ways I do this , several times a week ( I actually prefer NEW, " Virgin shoes", contrary to what may have been espoused here for a long, long time.. - Nothing wrong with waiting until hand 10,15,20 whatever to enter the shoe....but you get really good at this, you can start hand 1... 3) if you want, start a post on HOW TO ENTER ( your perception of) A BAD SHOE . - Thinking we will come up with a whole bunch of ideas/concepts to identify " entry opportunities" for the worst -of-the-worst shoes..

I recognize my approach to " all business" ( only) is lacking ( BTW, it's on purpose) , but one thing is for certain, if I can get even just a few players to really understand HOW TO WIN, it is well worth it to all of us to " put our heads together" and show what a team-effort can result in! We have many, many, many " systems" /procedural methodologies which purport to help us " predict" the next hand outcome. - and some of them seem to work better than others, as perhaps they were developed pre-pre-shuffled shoes, or, like MDB, based on a concept known as " regression to the mean" ( average) Does that preclude-us/stop us from investigatating /quantifying/qualifying those " triggers" which work best for us, expose them to the participants, mix in a dose of betting progression ( positive/negative) and establish careful stop loss/stop win parameters to create our own Bet2Win ( B2W) group chat/winning methodology?? ( of course not) SO WE WILL. ( Hint. It will be based on " mathmatical probabilities" , +\- be dealt with shoe by shoe/as well as assigning plausibility to events within a sequence of shoes played at the same table, in one " setting" ) - And we will look to establish best-practice entry and exit points to maximize our chance for a favorable outcome.) You have outlined a great approach, especially were this truly a scientific matter. -( problem is, it's not that simple) We have a 50/50 gaming proposition, for which we intend to apply " rules" which combine approaches toward " unusual shoe bias" ( at least seems that way, if only for awhile) , with solid math concepts like " regression to the mean " ( 50/50) It's there. While I once I worked for a couple of the largest international Accounting, Auditing, Tax and Consulting firms, we will not need complicated algorithms , or millions of test shoes to " prove our point"... - THE POINT IS THIS !!!!!!!!! Look, I know this is not EZ. But by now, you likely have figured out that any truly, long-term successful baccarat player simply must develop the skill necessary to unlock his/her own path to WINNING @ Baccarat. I purposely listed out a number of " systems" , methodologies, betting selection techniques and money management possibilities a few posts ago. And there are many, many more available on the Internet, from books, etc. I am not suggesting we just use all, several, or even just one of those, but likely there are clues there can help you contribute. I am convinced, I truly became a better player ONLY by studying/practicing/playing different ways, until I finally convinced myself I would have to create my own unique way to approach the game, and become an advantage player. Did I make up all by myself the concept of looking at 5 disparities at once to help me evaluate possible bet selections? - No, Over time, I realized that any one system was not going to work all the time...and neither does 5D. BUT, it WINS most of the time! Did W2F " invent" MDB? No, but after careful evaluation and study, he realized how to " tweak it" and now we have MDB+ ( W2F rules)...and since then, he has worked constantly to combine the best elements of a number of approaches to the game to improve his play even further. Did McVince invent SAP? No, but he looked closely at it , modified his approach and we now have VINSAP ( or whatever you want to call it)...Is this all he plays these days? NO, just ask him. Does anyone , even in their wildest imagination, think that Norm " cracked the baccarat code" , and won millions of $$ with some kind of " secret baccarat weapon" ? NO, not without realizing that to WIN @ Baccarat, it requires more than knowledge of a single system, a single money management progression he " invented", or " voodoo baccarat math" Have you read OZ's posts on how much work he puts in to winning? ( Of course you have...and you know ther simply is no simple, always objective " bet trigger mechanism" to rake in the $$... The point is this. I learned how to PLAY baccarat more than 25 years ago. I learned in Macau, when there was only one main casino ( at the time) , The Lisboa. I learned from my Chinese business partners, and I had to take a 90 minute ferry ride from HK to Macau, and then walk down to the casino all by my lonesome...Play 3-deep at the tables, in a dimly-lit, shoulder-to-shoulder environment, using a currency I had to translate in my mind to $USD to make bet evaluations, and then get back to Hong Kong the same way I got to Macau... - I do not speak Mandarin. I do not speak Cantonese. I was simply introduced to the game, how to play. And then I was on my own... ( and for many years, I certainly lost $$!) , - because nobody taught me HOW TO WIN !! So the purpose of this thread is to HELP YOU develop a style of play, based on solid mathmatical concepts which govern the game, so that you too can: . - WIN at least, at a minimum, $50K " net" from your efforts!! - I'll let you do the math to decide how long that will take you... I am not here to gauge your bankroll. I am not going to " drag you kicking-and-screaming" into the dark recesses of the casino, or the game.
