Users ADZ505FL Posted June 20, 2010 Users Report Share Posted June 20, 2010 I had noticed some very early shoe endings about a week or so ago, but those seem to have subsided for the time being. There was some mention of this also on another of the baccarat boards but I think they've all concluded that it was a temporary type thing.Z
MVSeahog
All, Had a little fun today on Bet Phoenix. I was sitting at my desk, just minding my own business and trying to get some bills paid when I got a "Skype" bing from one of our members, sporeauct, and he said that BPH had just started a new shoe and it was coming out streaky. Well, that's all I needed to hear and dropped whatever I was doing and headed on over. Showed up just in time to get some paperwork done and jump in at which time I proceeded to play like a clown for some reason. Looking back at the sheet, I see where my brain kind of just went off scale or something and I wound up dropping -15 in the first half of the shoe. Had to bail out and prepare to make it back in tonight's shoe. Well, as I generally track the shoe for reference and practice, I was marking the scoresheet and basically "paper playing" it all along. Somewhere around hand 40 or so, it smacks me in the head that one of our playing styles was coming up big which pointed to a standard play in Maverick. There had been NO streaks at all in Player and Bank was running amok. "Anti" was on a tear!! Time to jump back in runing Fx on Bank! Ran the Bank side like that all the way down. Player never made better than a single 3 and the previously marked "losing" shoe turned into a small winning shoe, all on Bank due to the paperwork showing where it was going. Now all I had to do was change my records to show the shoe as a win instead of a loss. Never give up the ship. Watch the shoe. Learn. Besides, it's fun talking and playing with friends from the other side of the planet! MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog?
John12345
I am having problems with BP, is anyone else? I takes forever to connect to the table. Usually I get to the connecting part, then socket connecting then it won't connect. This morning it took me around 14 tries, to finally get onto a table. This could be my connection but the rest of my internet is running ok. Anyone else have this problem?I also got a new message that I have never seen before. I got onto a table yesterday and I was waiting 8 plays before starting. By the 5th or 6th play I got a message that told me that I had to bet or I would get kicked off the able. I didn't even get a chance to bet and it kicked me off then I couldn't log-in for another 15 minutes.
MVSeahog
John, Just now tried at 3:30pm eastern and got right in. It's almost the end of the shoe so I'll check back in shortly to start on the next shoe. We'll see if I can get through a full one without a drop this time! Also, they are booting you from the room if you don't make a wager within 5 or 7 hands or so. When that happens, I log into the other room or the roulette table and come back into my "regular" room and it seems to wrk out that way. You can also just monitor the shoe until you want to go in by sitting at the "Live Casino" page where it shows both tables in play. The video will stop, but the results will continue to update. Once I see about 6 hands played, I'll get into the room and start up. MVS Edited July 26, 2010 by MVSeahog Quote What's an MVSeahog?
John12345
glad to hear you got in. I just logged in to look at the results of a shoe and I actually got in for the first time. I am starting to wonder if it has something to do with the amount of people playing. Maybe around this time there is a low volume of people at the table. Who knows. You can also just monitor the shoe until you want to go in by sitting at the "Live Casino" page where it shows both tables in play. The video will stop, but the results will continue to update. Once I see about 6 hands played, I'll get into the room and start up.I have not been getting a video feed for about the last 3 days. I usually have that black screen that says video or something like that.
MVSeahog
John, Well I may have spoken too soon. I got into a nice shoe start after watching a full wash and after starting at hand 9, like normal, I got all the way to hand 17 before their system "freeze" and it was all over for me. The only good thing is I wound up at +6 after 8 wagers. B15271 was the shoe result at the time I was "frozen out". Tried to get back in but after about 10 minutes I just gave up and called it a day. Baccarat A
I've been playing quite a bit there over the last couple of weeks. They are definitely having problems with their live game software. Game freezes, black screen for dealers, bet not accepted. These problems are worst at high traffic times, after 10pm eastern time and on the weekends. I think that it is the only live site that accepts American players.

Looks like I'll make my daily shoe a lot earlier in the day instead of 6pm and later like usual. I think it will feel a bit odd to be playing early in the day, but I can deal with it if the game moves along smoothly. MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog? Users ECD Posted July 28, 2010 Users Report Share Posted July 28, 2010 BPH is like a microcosm of the whole casino industry. They are going through the same gyrations in days and weeks that the whole industry took years and decades to go through. They are a good mini lesson in casino history. It took me 20 minutes to get into the shoe that was RD1 ripe. I got in and missed out on +10 units early in the shoe. I was so pissed off that I decided to flat bet the entire time because I felt the shoe would change. It changed and became real choppy but the joke was on them..I still won 5 unints, they lost and will contunue to lose.

John12345
BetPhoenix is getting bad with the payouts. I suggest that you think twice before playing with them. They keep telling me to check back and they are changing their times and timezones this is getting crazy. Users jerseyslim Posted August 18, 2010 Users Report Share Posted August 18, 2010 This is not good and something I feared about in joining an online casino. Are there any other online casinos that accept players from the U.S. that deals live hands that gives good service. Also, what about the fact that they kick you out after about 5 or 6 hands of inactivity. That's no good when betting like we do.John I know some of the management at BetPheonix, PM me your betphoenix nickname and amount you are trying to withdraw, i will have a talk with them to see whats happening. As this is the first time I've tried the free, once a month check, I was kind of surprised to find that it would take this long. The moneygram thing seemed to work nicely in the past but figured I'd go the check route this time to save some money. Their "banking" page shows the mailed checks should be processed in 24-48 hours, Tuesday thru Thursday and arrive in 3 days or so. This makes the 10 day thing a bit odd I think. As I have no bonus problems and all of my information is already held for the account, I find the "10 business days" thing to be out of line. My other sports book paid by check in TWO DAYS every time I requested a pay out by check and they sent it via FedEx of all things! We'll see if there's any other problems that crop up for this "free check" withdraw and I'll report back when the check actually shows up. MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog? MVSAll, As promised, here's the update on the payment from Bet Phoenix. It arrived this morning via FedEx five business days after processing as in "right on schedule and as advertised". Can't complain about that at all. As I have no bonus money to deal with and no minimum play guarantees to deal with, the check was paid with no problems. This is good. So, I'd chalk this one up as a "good report" on the payout from Bet Phoenix. MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog?
MVSeahog
All, Going over last week's play sheets from BetPhoenix and I've noticed an awful lot of very choppy shoes. This is good news for those of us who have a good "chop" system for sure! System 40 did very well back testing. Regular RD1 appeared to struggle a bit as the huge amount of running 1,2's took a toll on that play. Of course, if RD1 is getting beat up, whatever works opposite of RD1 should be killing the shoes! If anything else appears to be trending over there while they continue to figure out just what they want to deal, I'll try to get a post up in time for everybody to take advantage of it.
