I'm looking to play Baccarat online with live dealers.

Looking at 5Dimes or Betonline . Has anyone played at these - if so are they OK

Anybody played at other places with live dealers

Thank you in advance for any input

Hey Junketman-

I have accounts at both 5dimes and betonline. 5dimes pretty recently added a second live feed which is the same as betonline. Now I have accounts at both sites because I keep both feeds up simultaneously so I can keep an eye on the potential triggers without constantly switching tables. 5dimes has two different tables being dealt at the same time on their regular feed which they call Vegas Live Dealer (the other is rebate live dealer).

I play online almost everyday seven days a week and I have been having success playing online MDB for over 6 months now. I don't play high stakes online due to the US gaming laws and I don't want to give the casino an excuse to not pay me. So basically I am trying to fly under the radar by not playing high stakes. I usually play to +2 per shoe for a daily win of +10.

I hope this helps....

Hi Ntrl9:  Thanks for the information

Sounds like no problems at 5Dimes or Betonline. Do you prefer one over the other

No problems at all. I make withdrawals every other week. I stagger the withdrawals so one week I'm cashing out 5dimes and the next week its betonline. I do this so I never have that much money in my account just in case they shut down...

5 dimes here...I use bitcoins for deposit/wds to save on fees. I did sign up for betonline a while back but their fees seem high. They charge both ways, deposit and withdraw, even with bitcoin. So...I voted with my money and don't use them anymore. Plus like was mentioned above. 5 dimes has 2 bac "casinos" the "Las Vegas Live" and the "Rebate Live." The "Rebate Live" studio at 5 dimes is the same one as is on betonlines single bac studio. So 5 dimes, lower/no fees with bitcoin, 2 studios, one of which is the exact same studio as betonline offers. Why would anyone use betonline?

I'm very careful with my transactions however. In a nutshell, 5dimes can only talk to my bitcoin account (which I only use to move money in and out immediately, I don't let any site there). My bitcoin account can only talk to an intermediate account (not my primary bank account) this intemediate account can talk to my personal account and I only keep money there long enough to move in or out of my bitcoin vault or personal account. It's a little extra hassle and takes some extra time for funds to clear but I want the online casino at least 1 step away from my personal account.

Bitcoin provides the most secure way to seperate them from your cash. To send 5 dimes money, you have to generate a "crypto address" that is good for only a very short time. You take that address to your bitcoin account and say "send money to that address" The addresses only exist for a short time and the encryption used to create the addresses is well beyond the ability of  current computers to break. So basically you are not giving 5dimes et. al any access to your accounts. probably overkill on my part but I wanted the seperation.

However, i've also seen someone say that the online casinos probably wouldn't create any problems or cheat you out of deposits/withdrawls. They don't have to as most of the money that people hold in their accounts probably stays there :-)

IMHO - I wouldn't hold bitcoin as a currency...however since I started using it the price of on bitcoin went from the low $300s (USD) to the low $400's  so had I held some I could have made some cash ... but it could have cratered to. Bitcoin price dove a few months ago when the European Union started talking about regulating it. So things like that can cause people to dump bitcoin and cause the price to go down.

My opinion is bitcoin is a good tool to move money, thats all. The bitcoin market is very volatile. So with safety in mind, I try to hold bitcoin less than the 15 minutes it takes to buy bitcoin, generate the address and complete the transaction with 5dimes.

I am not any kind of investment market guy but next year, if the price of bitcoin migrates down, I might buy some in late october to hold until Christmas. There are finite "bitcoins," I might take the bet that as the holiday season buying ramps up the price of bitcoin will go up as more people use them to shop online. Purely speculation on my part however, the price did go up significantly from Oct to Dec. I guess the proof will come over the next few months...we'll see if it migrates down as holiday shopping slows down.

But it's a reasonably safe way to transfer money in short term transactions. If you want to transfer $100 bucks, you buy $100 worth of bitcoin. It doesn't really matter what the price of bitcoin is. Your $100 might buy you .25bitcoin or .1 bitcoin depending on the market bitcoin price. When you transfer that .25 or .1 bitcoin to 5 dimes they convert it back into currency based on the current price of bitcoin.

I've not had any problems with 5dimes transacting my bitcoin. It usually takes less than 15 minutes for the USD to show up in my account after I tell my coinbase account to "send money." I guess 5 dimes wants the money in my account asap :-)

Like Bacc however, it's probably best to study about bitcoin a few weeks before you jump into it, so you can understand how the market works. You don't have to but it just helps you form your own knowledge base on using it.

BetOnline has $500 max bet (with $25 minimum).

5Dimes has Rebate Casino Live bacc with the same feed as BetOnline but the max bet is $10,000 if that matters for you.

That is in addition to their 2nd bacc table so you can choose and switch between them.

BetOnline customer support is very helpful and responsive.

Be careful with  video feed as it often delayed and shifted with results showing up earlier than actual drawing of the cards on the screen and 20 second timer( to make bets) starting early even before the last hand is finished dealing and this cuts the time to make next betting decision.

Can anyone tell me at what level of play should one become concerned with being banned from the online casino?

Is there an amount of winning  bets that puts you on their radar screen and might cause them to kick one out and ban the winning player?

Any solutions or advice related to this issue?

ArkSobo,

Well unfortunately I haven't made any wd's yet :(

I've done 2 $250 usd deposits. I'm playing $5 units and have my bankroll up to $600. I'm still new to this game and feel fortunate that i'm on the positive side. I've played probably 20 shoes there. My beginning was kind of rough (thus the 2nd deposit of $250) but in the past couple of weeks, i've been able to go back positive.  Being only a few months into the methods on BTC, I think it just took time and repetition. The swing back to the positive side it pretty recent so maybe i'm learning something from this board haha! For me, a newb, I considered this online training and I think I am seeing some results.

Anyway...back to bitcoin...I didn't see in the rules where there was a delay on bitcoin payout, but there always tends to be fine print. I may try to wd $50 to answer your question.

Your second question on how much it takes to get banned I hope I am able to find out hahaha

So i'm playing 5 dimes this morning, doing ok thanks to BTC! The point of this post is check out my screenshot. This is the start of 2 separate shoes on 2 different tables at the same time. These shoes both started at 11:00am (ish) CST. They are practically identical up the the 13th play!!!

Swap the position of the 2 banker and single player and they are identical.

Now...I see the dealers hand shuffle the cards and it APPEARS to be a random situation but this is not the first time I've noticed similar shoes...maybe just out of sequence a bit. The only odd thing I've noticed about them is they have this unusually fancy shoe. It's not a regular, plastic type of shoe it appears to have some electronics in it. At first I figured it's just got a scanner so they can record and have proof of the shoes. But after this...

I saw an online video about how easy it is for casinos to pull cards out of sequence. Could these electronic shoes be altering the way the cards are pulled? I'm not saying this is the case with 5 dimes, it might be totally random but wow what are the odds of the 2 shoes above starting practically identically?

Hi Xdot good observation.

Lets write these down:

P11313211

SAP - 5 2 8 0

P113211311

SAP - 6 2 8 0

They do look dangerously close but then again they are quite common events.

From an MDB+ point of view they are vastly different however but from a NOR point of view quite similar.

Definitely worth observing to see if this keeps happening.

Its good to have a 'digital mind' on our side!

Keep us informed.

Greetings all.

A "friend" noticed that in this picture, which the friend says is from an "online.casino.from.costra.rica", that the card holding shoe device has a "Green.Button" on it. The "Green.Button" is clearly visible on the left hand side of it. What was noticed is that sometimes that "Green.Button" is "Pushed". Now, I hope you all are focusing your attention on the "shoe" and not elsewhere.?! Does any one know what that "Green.Button" is..&..more importantly, what it is used for.?

That's the online casino that I've been playing and was discussing in my earlier post. Even though you see them shuffle on camera, I've been wondering if those fancy shoes can generate a specific card order. Last night for example, both tables (at the same time) had almost all 1's and 2's. Brad provided a good analysis/voice of reason to my post :-).  But I've noticed both tables at this casino seem to deliver shoes that are very similar, at the same time.

I mentioned both shoes were heavy on 1's and 2's last night but I played about 9:45pm. Earlier in the week, I noticed they brought out new cards (8 new packs, shuffled at the table) at 9:30pm on one of the tables. After some searching on BTC I saw many Ellis posts that said new cards, hand shuffled, are biased to S40/OTBL most of the time. I think this is the most likely explanation for the 1's and 2's I saw at the same time....HOWEVER the screenshot in my post above is uncanny.

Green button....I've seen them press that at the beginning of the a new game. It's a guess, but it could be some kind of marker button to signify starting a new game. I did some reading, shuffle master does make a shoe that shuffles cards (and probably could change the order when cards are dealt), but it looks like this is the model that only records what cards are being dealt. Do a google search on "Shufflemaster Baccarat Shoe" it's an interesting read.

The thing that still puts a question in my mind is ... This is all software. They know how we are betting before they ever draw the cards. IF (and this is a huge if) they know that, and the shoe could present cards in a non-linear order, they can alter the outcome. If you watch the "cheat" video above.... The deck wouldn't have to be re-shuffled to alter the outcome. Meaning if the shoe "knows" what the current 6 cards are and can alter the order they are delivered (again watch the video above). They could most likely control how the cards are drawn out of the shoe.

For example, table bets heavy on banker. First draw, banker pulls 9, 2nd card in shoe is 3, 3rd is a King (banker would get natural 9). If the shuffle master could present the 3rd card to player on the 2nd play, .... Player draws King instead of  3, then the banker gets the 3 and reduces to 2. Player has an almost guaranteed win and the table (which bet heavy on banker) looses to the side with the most cash on it. If they only did this 25% of the time in each shoe, when the conditions were right, this would boost the house take.  (Sorry I got the draw order wrong, I'm not retyping it haha)

Ok ok...tinfoil hat stuff right? But I write software, this is all possible IF the shoe has the robotics to do what the "cheat" video shows above. Software can easily monitor the realtime stats/bets on the shoe. Place your bets>>>Last bets>>>Calculate stats while the dealer waits for the computer to say "go" (and the computer calculates how to deliver the next few cards during this delay) >>> shoe presents cards to the dealer in a certain order.

Personally, after it seemed that my hit rate plummeted at this casino, I started playing the "rebate live casino" they have a nice, plexiglass shoe that is totally transparent. The cards is what they is. But the voice of reason says, it's more likely my lack of playing skills than electronic shoes. Once I realized they are serving up shoes with lots of 2's, started playing "Everything but the 4's" (check out brads post for those 2 and 3 heavy shoes) all was well. :-)

Even with all that...my screenshot above....just caught my eye. These events are very common and Brad provided and excellent analysis on how....even though they look similar to the eye, they are very different when we analyze them with the different systems we learn here. But let's keep our eyes open and look for similar shoes at the same time on both tables at this casino.

There are just so MANY reasons why a professional would not play online.  Xdotnet's post just amplifies this point.  Sure, mess around playing nickles if you find the practice helpful, but it has no place in any serious business effort.
