I couldn't agree more...Long before I discovered BTC, I lost my entire Bankroll (which had taken several months to accumulate) in a matter of minutes playing a similar Progression but not starting to bet until I had already had 3 losing bets...reasoning that gave me more chance of hitting a winner. I wasn't playing big units but I've never forgotten that sick feeling in my guts as I watched each bet lose one after the other. That experience is partly why I am so Anti Negative Progression. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy (Carlos excepted because he's a lying manipulative weasel) DJ...From someone who has gone where you are going...Please reconsider...You will lose...it's not a matter of "if"...only a matter of "When"

Wow. DJ, please don't do this! heres the problem: if you are going to play something mechanical in all shoes, like s40m3, then your only chance of winning is to have a crazy negative progression. But that progression WILL end it for you at some point. It is Baccarat Suicide.

His progression is a negative progression, 1 3 8 17 36 72 155 units or something very similar to it.

You say you are reading the forum for a few days. Where in the forum does it say negative progressions are good? All the rockstars in this forum either flat bet or up as you win. You are saying things that is already known.

You are not wrong...It doesn't matter what the hit rate is...how successful...eventually that long run of outs will destroy you You have come to the right place with your thoughts on Negative Progressions. To my knowledge...every consistent long term winner on this Forum has been bitten badly by NP's and has moved to... firstly Flat Betting and then either the 1 2 Loop or the 2 3 Loop and increasing as the shoe dictates. The Loop is mainly used as a Positive Progression...at least early in the shoe. A few BTC members have been running an anti NP vendetta for quite a while now and the WIN rate has increased exponentially as we moved away from mechanical systems in combination with NP's. (a recipe for disaster) Those that come here looking for an easy way to win will be sorely disappointed...Baccarat is a thinking man's game and it takes much time and effort to become a consistent winner. This is where we have a problem...Carlos is used by Ellis to test and promote all his systems and one assumes that you would use "Due Diligence" before forking out $1000's for different Baccarat Systems. Get real...Who the hell is going to invest money in a retired Fireman to play Baccarat?...beyond belief. There are several players who played regularly with Norm...(RIP) and will vouch for the gradual increase in his unit size. Norm started with $25 units and due to his selective bet selection methods slowly increased to a unit size of $5K.
