  1. I'm done wasting my time on you. I would have thought that it may have dawned on you by now that you are about as popular as a fart in an elevator and it's time you disappeared back to your blog where you can continue talking to yourself. I suspect that you are not really a bad person it's just that God musta fallen asleep with his finger stuck on the "batshit boring" button...but it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good and I do thank you for all the time and effort you put into your blog...It's done wonders for my insomnia issues. Take care Glen and peace be with you. Oz
  2. There is no longer any doubt that you and Alrelax are one and the same person. You clearly have psychological issues and it didn't help that the members of BTC didn't fall down in abject adoration at you deigning to grace us with your presence. Your Blog is read by fewer people than a Halal Menu at a Jewish Restaurant basically because you manage to turn "being a boring sh*t" into an art form. Your philosophy appears to be based around the concept of "Why write something in one or two sentences when you can write War and Peace?" You are a boring little man with a deep-seated need to have your "Greatness" aknowledged by we mere Plebs...the problem being...that you aren't that great.
  3. W2F called it. The temptation to come back to this forum was too overwhelming for you. When you refer to anything concerning the Las Vegas tragedy in a thread to be condescending to another you show your lack of fortitude. I suggest you leave this forum, you are clearly outclassed in your person and your game.
  4. I don't mean to be nasty...but have you forgotten to take your medication or are there just a few kangaroos asleep in the top paddock?...just asking...
  5. I love the way you refer to yourself in the third person Glen. You may actually be delusional.
  6. Pass the toilet paper...My "Glendar" just went haywire... Too late DAMMIT!...I gotta go take a shower.
  7. Hmm...Very interesting...As I was reading your Post, my Alrelax Alarm went off and I shit my pants...That's the way my Alrelax alarm works...what comes out of my arse bears more than a passing (pun intended) resemblance to what comes out of his mouth. BTW: If you aren't really Glen or a close relative...then I apologise...put your defence of Glen down to you being unaware of what a right raving looney the guy is. Still...the poo running down my leg is a fair indication that I am on the money and my Glendar (Glen Radar) is in full operational mode...or it might just be those oysters I ate last night coming back to bite me.
  8. WOW W2F! You know what?....... I was just thinking the same thing. 8orBetter sure sounds just like Glen to me. Especially considering that he can't come back to read the comments from his previous posts with his old ID because he's BANNED (as the Donald says YOU'RE FIRED!!!" from here. So he probably set up another alias with which to come back in and check if he got any attention (as we all know he is an attention whore). And is it just a coincidence (or as Oz says "my suspicious nature" ) that this "8orbetter" who's never posted a single word on this forum, is a newbie, comes on the forum and the first thing he does is bad mouth BTC. Like REALLY M.F. Err #$%^&*???!! If YOU were a newbie, who just joined a forum to learn the game, would you be bad mouthing the very site that you are hoping will help you learn the game? I don't think so. Sounds very fishy to me.
  9. You know, now that I reread this post, it sure sounds and flows exactly by a post by Glen. Yes, he often posts under multiple alias' supporting his view because no one else will. It would be funny if it just wasn't so sad. Tell us the truth, @8orbetter, you are actually Glen (@alrelax). Clearly I was generous when I said there were 4 of you on betselection. It might just be you. And you. Lol.
  10. Sounds like you found someone to follow. Best of luck to the four of you on that board.
  11. I don't think this is a very good plan for you @edwin408. There is this thing in baccarat called variance. The casino has a mathematical advantage, and if you do not do SOMETHING to try to reduce the variance of the game, you will lose and probably lose a lot. This is why betting every hand in the shoe following a mechanical bet selection method (i.e. bet banker every hand) will not work. Sure, if its a banker heavy shoe you will win that shoe. But what happens if it's a player dominant shoe (incidentally, @kachatz1 just played a shoe the other day that had 30 players and 15 bankers) you will lose. That is variance. By using a negative progression (U1D1) you are providing super fuel to the casino's money-making engines. They would love every one to play that way. What's good for the casino, is baccarat suicide for the player. Baccarat wannabes, who talk about how banker has a mathematical edge over player, often espouse to simply bet banker every hand. And hey, if you match it with an U1D1 you are guaranteed to come out a winner in the long run. But due to variance, you will instead lose in the long run, and lose big. Despite this "obvious" mathematical concept, I have NEVER seen any player actually do this at the tables. Why? Because they lose. Because when you have that strong Player shoe can you really get yourself to make a 10 unit bet (after making and losing all the bets leading up to it)? What about the 11 unit bet after that, and 12 after that? Your done. Your baccarat "career" is over. Instead, the successful player learns to streamline their play into only a few preferred plays and bet selectively when they see those plays set-up in the shoe. This eliminates betting on whims or mechanical systems. Is it a sure thing? Of course not. But your own statistics support the play as you look for the shoe to maintain its trend or bias just long enough to profit from it. Take a unit or two and move onto the next opportunity. I prefer to not make a bet above two units. In most cases I don't go above 1.5 units on any one bet. If I get ahead by 5 units I must exit that shoe with at least 3 units -- never let a changing shoe or variance turn a nice profit into a loss. How you do long-term is MUCH more a function of how little you lose in one shoe versus how much you win in one shoe. I play for the long-term, not for the next bet, the current shoe, or even the days' session. So if I have a large win in a shoe, in the next shoe I typically lower my unit size. Likewise, if I have a tough shoe and lose a couple units, I will often raise my unit size in the next shoe. Recognize that you control your bet selection, money management and exit points. Don't fall into the casino's trap of trying to control something you can't (i.e. betting banker every hand, or using a negative progression). It's called using your brain. Good luck on your journey @edwin408! You will find lots of good information here to help you.
  12. Interesting approach Alrelax! I haven't been back to your series of threads cause I already know your mode of operation. But had to come take a look when a couple members PM'd me about the BS you have posted here. I have seen the nonsense you post at Bet Selection, that hardly a member there cares about -- no wonder the activity at that site dwindled to almost nothing shortly after your self-serving, egotistical posts. Kinda the same thing that happened after you got involved with two other vegas/gambling boards. Starting to look like a trend. It's a shame, really -- while no one takes issue with your experience, and you sometimes offer good nuggets of information, nobody is interested in wading through your BS and ego to get the good stuff. Ego getting in the way is a bit of an issue with many on this board as we have experienced the negative side of "ego" here in the past. I honestly don't know why you seem to have such a problem with me -- we have never met or spoken. I guess it's because you always need someone to blame and ridicule -- probably makes you feel better about yourself. It has been your M.O. for a long time, and is well recognized by those who have seen your numerous threatening and derogatory attacks on individuals on other boards. I for one am delighted you have chosen to "leave" BTC because I don't read any of your shit -- stopped doing that a long tome ago. I am curious about one thing though: Who do you think I know who has stiffed casinos for 500,000 in markers? There must be some great story behind it, or is it just another mad up story in your head?
  13. I offered him accommodation in my kid's old tree house but when he heard about the snake that lived in the roof...he lost interest...Go figure...
  14. The only Roads that are worth bothering with are The Bead Road and the BIG Road (which are different ways of recording the same event)... As for the ones you mentioned...Forget them...they are about as useful as a penis is on Carlos. YEAH...I know Keith...I know...Bad Oz
  15. I was thinking the same as you, Kevin until I realised that Kino was referring to video/audio recording.
  16. S40 and all of the triggers taught at BTC are best utilized when you see the trigger occur, you immediately jump on it and then get out and start looking for other potential triggers. A wise man on here once taught me to hit the triggers either to a +2 win goal or to a -2 stop loss. Either way, you won't be on the trigger for long.
  17. You are one step ahead of me then...I lost shitloads...LOL S40 in it's old form had no rhyme or reason for it's Mode choices and the inevitable consequences of the NP always bite you on the butt. It is possible to play a version of S40 by making much more educated Mode choices without using a NP and stopping and waiting when you don't know what to bet rather than blunder on.
  18. Don't bother...In it's original form it was just another shitty "Negative Progression" which all end in grief. None of the successful players on BTC use these NP systems but instead, have adapted the various tools available on BTC to formulate their own version of Norm's "Follow The Shoe" type of play. Norm went from $25 units to $5K units in less two years with a Bankroll of over $1million...The designer of S40 is still selling systems and is still fart arsing about with Reds and Greens while claiming to have been banned from playing at most casinos in the US. (Who ever heard of a Casino banning a player using $10 and $25 units?) It just beggars belief that people are still swallowing this shit about Negative Progression Systems.
  19. Been hitting the Wild Turkey again Kevin?...Which part of "Rumpie is already a Premium Member" ...didn't you understand?...LOL Sorry, buddy...I couldn't let the opportunity pass...
  20. I can't ride a skateboard...I can fly a hang-glider if that helps... but it's somewhat difficult to tuck under my arm when I go to the casino.
  21. An oldie but a goodie from Sydney Casino a little under 2 years ago... THE YOUNG HIGH-ROLLERS BREAKING SYDNEY CASINOS Amy Harris, The Sunday Telegraph October 4, 2015 12:00am Subscriber only THEY flash a P-plate driver’s licence to get in the door and walk out with millions. Welcome to the new era of high-roller gamblers — young men, some barely 18, who hang out in skate parks by day and spend their nights betting on high stakes baccarat in The Star’s elite Sovereign Room. Armed with the coveted “black” cards or the ultimate “diamond-tier” membership status, these are the new generation of gamblers weened on internet gaming until they’re old enough to walk into a casino — where they arrive experts. Casino sources say the boom in young male card players has erupted in high-roller betting in Sydney in the past six months and it’s in the Sovereign Room, the ultra-exclusive betting floor that once accommodated mostly older Chinese VIPs, where they rule. “...and then they sit down and pull $3 million off a table” To snag an invite, these young punters are spending at least 30 hours a week betting and spending five-figures daily. “You look at these young guys and you can see they have just walked out of the skate park and then they sit down and pull $3 million off a table,” says one Sovereign Room source, who asks not to be named. “I’ve seen them walk to the door and you see security go to usher them out because of their age and how they’re dressed. Jeans and hoodies. “But they flash their diamond cards and all of a sudden they’re welcomed in. Given drinks. Anything they want. Then they sit down among these older guys and ice them all.” One member of this new generation “Chris”, 22, admits he spends around 40 hours a week betting on baccarat and sometimes goes two or three days without sleep. Jennifer Nguyen 21 is a baccarat dealer at The Star Casino Star Casino in Pyrmont, Sydney. Photo Jeremy Piper But there’s always free rooms, offered to diamond-tier card holders at a rate of around seven per month, where they can nap and order room service before returning to the tables. It started, he says, playing online poker before branching out into blackjack, high-limit slots and finally baccarat — what he says is referred to among his friends as “the only game” because of the ability to bet huge amounts. Sometimes up to $100,000 per hand. “Blackjack and roulette really aren’t popular anymore because the odds lean too heavily towards the house,” says Chris, who also holds down a part-time clerical job. “Baccarat is pretty much the closest thing to having any edge against the house at all. “It’s about 45 per cent even against the house because you still can bet on a tie which happens once every eight times, statistically. It’s also a game where you can monitor trends. Or try to monitor trends. Because of course that doesn’t always work. But I watched my friend make $200,000 in a few minutes this week.” But with big wins, he says, come big losses. “It happens pretty fast. You can be up $200 grand and then dust it all in a few hours. It’s pretty sickening.” But rather than remain betting online, Chris says the lure of the high-rollers’ rooms — and qualifying for a “black” or “diamond” ranking — has become a new status symbol among the young betters. Jennifer is pictured at baccarat table in the Sovereign Room It’s not enough, he says, to play on the main floor. “You want to be able to flash the card, sign in your friends and drink for free,: he says of the Sovereign Room, which offers unlimited alcohol. The cards also cover the casino restaurants, where high-roller gamblers can eat for half price or free in some cases. The cost It also offers access to private jets, to get free show tickets, luxury rooms and gifts. As one high-roller croupier recounts: “I remember seeing a guy who looked about 18 pull $3 million off a table in the space of a couple of hours, then walk out and into one of the restaurants where he had a steak and chips. Calm as anything.”
